I woke up to the nurse of the school working around the resting area, that I was in.

HOW THE HELL DID I GET HERE!?

Oh, that's right the crown prince!

" Hey dear, school ended about 45 minutes ago, but I kept this part of the school open until you woke up!", she told me.

I smiled at her feeling very grateful that she didn't just decide to leave me in the school alone overnight.

" Thank you so much, it means a lot to me", I told her truthfully.

She shares a smile of her own. " No problem, I was just like you a few years ago. Young and broken". She whispers with her eyes glazed over from memories. " If you ever need anything at all, don't be afraid to come and talk to me about it".

My heart warmed at the motherly vibe she was giving me even though she was only 20 years old.

" Hey, actually I need help with something right now and I'm hoping you can help me learn more since I am very new to this area".

" What is it?", she asks me as she takes a seat next to me on the cot.

" It's about Prince Xanthous the 1st".

She nods at me. " I know quite a bit about him, I actually just got done with one of his victims a few minutes before you were dropped off here".

" Why is he so powerful? Like I have to fight the urge to bow down to him every time I see him", I say confused by why I had been feeling like that.

" Oh, he is a really powerful hybrid. He is part wolf, vampire, and demon. The wolve part of him kind of has an Alpha vibe to it so I highly advise that you listen to him the first time whenever he asks you to do something. The Vampire part of him is the smallest, he has the strength, speed, teleportation, and tracking skill of one, therefore making him a very dangerous threat to his rivals. And the demon part is the biggest part. He can compel you, make you freeze into place, toy around with your emotions, and also he can make fire appear out of his body", she informed me making me a little scared of him.

Okay I admit a lot!

" Thanks that really helped me", I say getting up, before she hugs me and lets me out of the school.

As I walked a little farther away from the school campus every minute, I suddenly had the feeling that I was being watched. And not in a good way, like the way a predator would look at its prey debating on which part of the body to wound before killing it slowly.

I shook my head trying to get rid of my thoughts of being watched and followed when a part of me told me that I really should listen to what my instincts were telling me.

Ignoring that too, I continued to walk, as a forest appeared in the line of my sight.  With a quick few seconds of thinking I decided to head into it instead of going onto the main road area and entering territory that I didn't know about.

Even though the forest was unknown territory too, I felt safer when I wasn't out in the open and instead liked the way that the trees shaded you and protected you from things.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when I felt hot breath fanning the back of my neck. I closed my eyes as the breath came closer and closer till it was like I was bathing in the heat of it.

" I know that you know what I am".
