" Who's here?", Natalie asked on the verge of freaking out.

Cindy sighed and muttered a curse under her breath.

" Well, whoever it is it must be bad that they're here", Natalie noted as she watched Cindy's emotions change.

" Oh it is", said a male voice causing shivers to go up and down my back.

Aww shit, everything was about to turn into chaos.

" Prince Xanthous,"Cindy greeted him stiffly showing us that she was about as happy as we were about this. Which we were not at all.

He ignored Cindy like she didn't even matter and that was when I felt something inside of me snap.

" You don't get to treat her like that just because she is a witch", I grounded out through clenched teeth.

Xanthous turned at the sound of my voice and made eye contact with me before smirking, as if this was some how amusing to him.

As soon as Xanthous turned back around, Natalie and I took off running to the back exit of the cabin.

We had barely made it to the door when we heard a roar from Xanthous. Let's just say he didn't seem like he was happy that we disappeared on him.

I exchanged a small smile with Natalie knowing that it could easily be one of our last.
