3rd POV
Sunder took in the events before her. Terrorlyzer lowered her blindfold and turned away from the statue she'd made of Miss Fortune and Ladybird sat unmoving, staring up at his frozen partner in pained horror. A purplish, almost magenta butterfly shaped outline appeared around Terrorlyzer's blindfold and the villainess seemed to have an argument with someone that Sunder couldn't see. 'I have to get Ladybird out of there before she turns that petrifaction ray or whatever on him.' She thought. Sunder held her jump rope over her head like a whip, wrapped it onto the school roof and Indiana Jonesed her way to the ground by her partners.
"We have to go." Sunder hissed quietly to Ladybird who shot her a fierce glare, his eyes shining.
"I'm not leaving her here." He spat venomously. Sunder rolled her eyes and hissed, "I didn't say to leave her I said that we had to go! So grab her and let's get out of here before she notices us!" Ladybird paused before nodding and doing as he was told. With the frozen superhero clutched closely to his chest Ladybird swung along side his new teammate, eventually landing on a building a good league from the school. Ladybird set Miss Fortune's frozen form down and placed a hand on her cheek. He rubbed his thumb over the rough stone and muttered, "Come on Kitten, come back to me, I can't do this without you." Sunder bit her lip as she watched her new teammate and friend fight back tears as he pressed his forehead to hers. 'Oh bugger....... I can't even imagine how much this must hurt him.....' she thought sadly 'After all, not only has she been his partner for hellfire knows how long but...... well she's his partner too. I can only imagine what how I'd feel if my girlfriend just threw herself into danger for me. She hesitated for a minute as he mumbled, "Please Kitten... please wake up.... I can't do this on my own...." With that statement Sunder's slightly shaken resolve solidified and she walked over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Good thing you don't have to then. I know I don't have anything even near the relationship that you two have but I still consider her my friend, even though I admit I haven't known you guys for very long, and besides, I definitely owe her one for talking me down during the whole 'Momager/ Traptopica' situation.......... All that aside the best way to get Miss Fortune back in the game is to beat that Akuma isn't it?" She said determination lacing her words. Ladybird stared at her for a moment before wiping his eyes and giving her a determined nod. Then he looked back at his frozen partner one more time and then launched his yo-yo off towards the Eiffel Tower.
"So why are we going this way and what exactly is the plan?" Sunder asked as they swung through the city. Ladybird looked over at her and said, "We're going this way because for some reason Akumas always end up at the Eiffel Tower, don't ask me why, and as for the plan, I'll distract Terrorlyzer while you look for a weakness. Once you find one let me know and I'll use my main power to find a way to beat her then we'll fix everything." Sunder nodded skeptically.
"Okay three questions: One: do we know where the Akuma is on her person exactly, two: what do you mean by 'main power' and three: once we beat her how do we get the akumatized object off her?" She asked. Ladybird stared forward, determination etched in his features.
"We saw the Akuma land on Iris' favorite scarf, I gave it to her for her birthday last year, and her blindfold looks just like it so we've got that one covered. As for the power thing, every single miraculous user has a main power, for example: Miss Fortune has the miraculous of destruction and her main power is 'Cataclysm' which allows her to destroy anything she touches. However when a miraculous user is completely in harmony with their kwami they have an array of minor abilities along with the main power, usually it takes until well into adulthood before the secondary powers manifest but in special cases like Miss Fortune and myself we're already completely on the same wavelength as our kwamis and have access to most of them. In her case she has 'Black Hole', it's essentially a portal creating power that can get her from one place to another or, if she doesn't have an end point in mind, just trap an Akuma or sentimonster in place. I mostly just have extra tech..... nothing big. You probably have one too if you look." He explained as they thwipped their way around a corner. As they soared over the city they noticed scattered statues below them, this time luckily their ranks didn't contain a certain reporter and her camera crew.
"Why are there even civilians outside during an attack? Aren't there any safety protocols in place?" Sunder asked looking down at them with eyes full of regret, remembering her and her mother's rampage a week before. Ladybird shook his head.
"There used to be back when Akuma attacks were common but after Hawkmoth, or technically Shadowmoth at that point, was defeated by Ladybug and Chat Noir twenty years ago all of the safety protocols were dismantled and the shelters were repurposed. Then earlier this year supervillains and Sentimonsters started showing up again thanks to Monarch and Khaos." He said his voice heavy. Stella nodded sadly, beginning to understand the weight of the situation. The two superheroes finally arrived at a roof just across from the Eiffel Tower. Sure enough there stood Terrorlyzer, back as straight as one of her statues, her back to the tower .
"I know you're out there somewhere Ladybird! Come out!" She shouted and Ladybird moved to jump down but a hand on his forearm held him back. He looked over at a concerned looking Sunder.
"Are you sure about this plan? I mean are you sure that you didn't just decide to have me on recon because this is personal for you? I mean, you're literally the only one who can fix everything, why are you the one going down there to be right in point blank danger?" She asked sounding worried. Ladybird gave her a reassuring smile and said, "Oh I'm definitely going because this is personal, that's why I have to be the one to fight her, after all the fact that Monarch went after my sister who then petrified My-er-Miss Fortune I have all the reasons I need to want to take her down."  He then rose to his feet and shot her a cocky grin.
"And as for why I need to be the one to go into 'point blank danger' as you put it," Ladybird pressed one of the spots on his yo-yo and the string retracted and a black handle stuck out on the back. He slid the weapon over his hand and tightened his fist around the handle there was a click as he pulled some sort of trigger. "Well, I have a shield." He added before jumping off the roof. Sunder's eyes widened as two wings sprouted from the slit where the string usually resided and began to flap so quickly that it formed a disk next to his hand. He held it over his head in order to slow his fall and rolled upon landing.
"Wow! You know I was kinda worried about how you getting Akumatized would effect the way you look Iris, but this is actually quite the improvement! Green suits you!" Ladybird yelled at Terrorlyzer earning an angry shriek. Wow..... I guess having your sibling be Akumatized has some advantages. Sunder thought as she watched Ladybird shoot an array of rather personal insults at the supervillain. She stared down at them as a pattern developed: Ladybird would shoot an insult, the villain would react, and then he'd duck behind his shield and then moving out of the way of Terrorlyzer's attack. But as she observed Sunder noticed that whenever Ladybird dodged and appeared in a different area there was a pause where the Akuma would look around as though she couldn't find him for a minute. This became clear when he front flipped over her head and yelled at her from directly behind her. Instead of following his movements like a normal Akuma would she simply lashed her head around yelling "WHERE ARE YOU!? WHERE DID YOU GO!?" until he landed even though her blindfold was off and being held in her hand. 'Is she.... actually b-blind!?' Sunder thought feeling shocked. Upon that realization Sunder unwrapped her jump rope and whipped it onto the tower. 'Time to let my teammate know and join the fight!' She thought just as the time ran out on Ladybird's shield and one of the spots disappeared on the back of his yo-yo as the handle retracted and the string shot out again. Before he could get a hold of the string however Terrorlyzer was baring down on him.
"It's time to join your partner Ladybird!" She said beginning to remove her blindfold. Just Sunder swung in and kicked the Akuma right in the face yelling, "Actually it's 'Teammate'!" Terrorlyzer stumbled back clutching her face in her hands as somewhere Monarch shouted, "WHAT?! Where the hell did she come from!?" Sunder helped Ladybird stand up and got him up to date on everything she'd learned. Luckily for the two superheroes in her anger Monarch accidentally accessed her link with her Akuma and yelled so loudly that Terrorlyzer's ears were ringing. They were ringing so loudly that the supervillain almost couldn't hear Ladybird call for his lucky charm. A small pair of earplugs landed in Ladybird's open hand. He wasted no time making the connections he needed to to form a plan.
"Okay here's what we're going to do, you use your 'Multitude' power to separate yourself into duplicates and place these in her ears, stay close by though because I'm going to need you to take them back so that I can-" he paused to gag "throw them and use my restoration power. While she's trying to find us and get her bearings you get her blindfold off and throw it to me, I'll take it from there." Ladybird whispered trying to be quiet enough that Terrorlyzer wouldn't hear the plan.
"I'll distract her so wait for my signal." He muttered placing the lucky charm in Sunder's hand. Sunder nodded and took hold of her jump rope in both hands. Terrorlyzer recovered from her patron's outburst and rushed Ladybird. In the little time he had available he pressed another one of the spots on his yo-yo. The string once again retracted and a light began to shine under the round of the weapon. He dropped it in his Akumatized sisters path with a murmured, "I'm sorry for this Iris." and the device rolled, settled and then the wings opened in a bright, loud explosion that left Terrorlyzer clutching her ears and stumbling about disoriented.
"Sunder you're up!" LadyBird yelled.
Nodding Sunder calls, "Multitude!" Slowly her body begins to shrink as smaller versions of herself divide from her. The shrinking ends as her main body becomes the size of her replicas. Now in the place Sunder had stood, a dozen 10 cm tall Sunder clones gathered. With that the replicas went to work as two of them, one being the original, began to backup into a pair of makeshift slingshots made up of two other clones and a smaller version of their jump ropes stretched between them. They launched themselves at the Akumatized girl, each gripping one of the earplugs for dear life before landing on her shoulders and ramming one in each ear. Then both of them back flipped off of her shoulders and merged back into her original self who called out, "Hey Big Bird! Incoming!" She untied the blindfold and threw it at Ladybird who had clicked on another one of the spots and was now holding a long katana like saber made out of light with the splayed wings of his yo-yo forming the guard. He slashed downwards with his Bug Saber and sliced the fluttering material in two. Then upon returning his yo-yo to its original state he opened it up and swung it towards the newly released Akuma shouting, "Get back here you nasty bug!" He caught it and released a now pure white butterfly into the air.
"No more troublemaking now, you hear?" He asked it rhetorically as it landed on his finger momentarily before flying off. Next came the part that Ladybird had been dreading. Sunder approached the now deakumatized Iris who was staring at them in scared surprise and gingerly gestured for the earplugs that remained firmly in the poor girl's ears. Iris gladly removed them and placed them in Sunder's outstretched, gloved hand with a look of muddled awe. Sunder then walked over to Ladybird and held out the hand that contained the lucky charm. Ladybird stared at her beseechingly and asked, "Do I have to take them?" Sunder laughed and rolled her eyes.
"You're wearing gloves don't be such a baby." She said holding her hand out emphatically. He glared at her begrudgingly and argued, "Biker gloves don't COUNT my fingers are still out! I mean come on cut me some slack! They were in her ears! It's unsanitary!" Sunder shook her head in amusement and suppressed a full blown belly laugh at his, albeit understandable, whining.
"Come on Big Bird, don't you want to get your KITTEN back?" She purred simperingly. Ladybird's face turned as red as his mask and he snatched the earplugs out of his teammate's hand grumbling, "That's not going away anytime soon is it?" Sunder simply shook her head and laughed as he winded up his arm and launched the lucky charm into the sky with an annoyed bark of "Miraculous Ladybird!" She and the now fully aware Iris watched in amazement as the magic ladybugs returned the city to normal. As soon as they were done Ladybird walked over to Sunder and held up his hand to high-five her.
"Good work out there newbie." He said with a grin. She eyed the hand in mock dubiousness and asked, "That's not the hand that was holding the earplugs is it?" Ladybird let out a humorless laugh and glared at her good-naturedly and said, "I hate you." Sunder laughed and high-fived him before pulling him into a bro hug. Before they could even separate fully however Sunder's sensitive mouse ears twitched and picked up a distant shout of "YOU DID IT!" just before the two of them were brought crashing down onto the pavement as Miss Fortune rammed into them at top speed. The three of them lay in a tangled, laughing heap as they tried to pick themselves up. Once they had righted themselves Miss Fortune pulled her two teammates in for a proper hug. When they separated Ladybird punched her in the arm.
"What the hell Lucky?! I thought we agreed to AVOID jumping into the path of danger for each other." He said glaring at her slightly. Miss Fortune rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.
"Oh don't worry Birdie, I didn't jump in for YOU honestly if it weren't for that purification thing you do I'd just deal with the Akumas on my own. No I jumped in to give our newbie here the chance to shine." Miss Fortune said slapping Sunder on the back good naturedly and grinning at Ladybird mischievously. A grin broke out on his face and he pulled Miss Fortune in for another hug. He placed his head on her shoulder and murmured, "Don't scare me like that again, okay Kitten?" A fond smile made its way onto her face and she nodded against him.
"Don't worry I won't, A ghrá." She whispered gripping the back of his suit tightly. Alya Lahiffe came running up to the four of them causing Sunder to turn away from Iris who she had been helping. Miss Fortune and Ladybird separated and wiped their eyes. Alya immediately began grilling the three superheroes about Sunder's sudden appearance. Miss Fortune stepped forward with a massive grin and threw an arm over each of her teammates' shoulders and looked right into the camera.
"Paris, I'd like you to meet our new, PERMANENT, teammate: SUNDER!" She shouted excitedly. Sunder waved at the camera self consciously and gave a small grin.
(Meanwhile)
"So... they've added another member to their little group. How quaint." Monarch said turning off her TV. Meanwhile on the other side of Paris Khaos glared at his TV and threw his remote in silent anger.

Once the three of them detransformed Aisling put a hand on Jacques' forearm.
"There's something I should tell you...." she said nervously looking down at his shoes. He looked at her with concern-ridden eyes.
"What is it?" He asked his brows furrowing slightly. Stella walked away from them slightly to give them some privacy.
"My parents think that you're being a bad influence on me and, more importantly, my grades. They've um.... well th-they've....." Aisling grimaced finding it hard to force out the words. Plagg gingerly stuck his head out of Aisling's purse to see if anyone was around before rushing up to settle on the inside of the collar of her jacket. He placed a small paw on her neck supportively. Aisling shared a smile with her kwami and took a deep breath before looking Jacques in the eye and saying, "They've forbidden me from being friends with you anymore, we aren't supposed to see each other. That's why I've been acting odd lately because..... you're my best friend and I didn't want to tell you. I'm honestly not sure what I'm going to say to them because frankly the only one responsible for my recent attitude, or rather my attitude being more notable of late, is Plagg and I can't exactly go to my parents and say 'Mum, dad, I'm not ditching my best friend for being a bad influence because the bad influence is actually a tiny floating magical cat that hangs around me because of my new ring, oh and by the way, I know you're super critical of everything that I do and all but I'm that Miss Fortune hero you hate.' They'd think that I was hammered!" Jacques watched on in amusement as she ranted noting the fact that she was still implying that she'd end up talking to her parents on the matter.
"So what brought about this sudden burst of honesty?" He asked chuckling slightly Aisling froze and looked down again, a haunted expression overtaking her usually cool and collected features. Jacques frowned, knowing full well what the expression meant.
"There was an imbedded illusion wasn't there?" He growled feeling his blood freeze over at the memory of the last time he had dealt with one of those. She nodded and wrapped her arms around his middle, burying her face in the crook of his neck.
"A ghrá , you have no idea how horrible it was, I was stuck reliving the first day of the year and this time through no one came to help me." Jacques embraced her tightly, returning the hug with as much strength as he could manage as her voice cracked slightly.
"It doesn't matter what you say to your parents, we'll deal with this like we deal with everything: together." He said pulling away just enough to look her in the eye. Aisling smiled and nodded and the two of them separated and walked over to Stella who was standing a little ways away and staring at the sky.
"Is everything alright with you two?" She asked tentatively not wanting to pry. Her new friends nodded and the three of them began to walk again when she added, "I'm glad that everything's alright, you guys are such a cute couple I'd hate to see you fall apart. Jacques and Aisling came to a screeching halt on the sidewalk and began to yell over each other.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! You've got it all wrong!"
"Stall the ball there Stella, you think we're a WHAT!?"
"We are NOT dating!"
"Me and this bloody clown are JUST FRIENDS! Best friends sure but friends nonetheless."
"Nothing but platonic things going on here- hey wait 'Clown' what the hell Ash?!" Stella blinked as their overlapping protests turned into an argument. After watching for a few moments she crumpled forward in an unbarred fit of laughter. Jacques and Aisling froze midargument to stare at her as she stood bent double with tears of laughter rolled down her face. When she'd finally recovered Stella straightened and gestured to the two of them.
"This- this is why I thought you were dating! You act like an old married couple! Plus there was that whole thing with how he cried when the Akuma got you." She said gesturing to Jacques who immediately turned red and began trying to explain himself incoherently. Aisling laughed and punched him on the arm with a fond smile.
"I didn't know you cared." She said with a coy grin. Instead of responding Jacques just buried his head in his hands and whined, "Tikki my teammates are bullying me......" Tikki popped her head out of the pocket of his over shirt and looked at the two laughing girls sternly.
"It's not nice to make fun of people, even when it's good natured, besides Jacques clearly likes Marinette's daughter Bridgette." She said earning a muffled, "Not you too......"
