The first thing I wonder as I wonder as I finally get up from bed is "why and how long will this crazy condition last?" As I walk outside mom gives me a quick wink before I go to the bus stop.
    But, instead of stopping there we walked on. "Where are we going?" I ask Spring confused as we began to walk through the backwoods. "School" said Spring snickering to herself.
    Once we were deep into the woods Spring stopped. "Why did you stop us here?" I ask curiously. Spring snickered again. Then she said" This is where we shift you dummy. And be quiet while you do it , nobody wants to hear you scream like you do everytime."
    I look at Spring completely bamboozled. What could she be possibly talking about? "Aww, you doofus. You forget how to do this everytime. Here, let me give you an example." says spring as she stretched out on the ground. Then I watch closely as she begins to take form of the beautiful brown fur I saw her in like before.
    Spring's eyes pleaded to me "hurry up."  Now I can read expressions. Slowly but surely I got down on the ground and let my wolf take over.
    It was painful  indeed. I had to hold back painful howls as my bones cracked and ached as I felt that familiar tingling sensation all over my body.
    Finally after a gruesome five minutes I was done. "Come on doofus. Just because you're alpha male doesn't mean you can do whatever you want. I still have to protect you until the ceremony." said Spring impatiently .
    For  some odd reason, I was angered by her comment and growled. She scoffed the wolf scoff and we began to walk one more.
    After a while strong scents of others like me began to pop up every where. I almost darted off from my guide if it wasn't for something that startled me so bad that my fur nearly jumped out of my skin.
    It was a bark so loud my ears would've been ringing for years. I stopped mid run. I swiweled to come face to face with a large wolf bigger than dad. You could clearly see large gaping muscles on his legs. He was huge with golden fur so shiny and beautiful, golden retrievers would've cowered in fear and excepted him as king. He was large, cruel and deadly looking.
    I couldn't believe myself by what was happening next. I began to defend myself. I began to snarl and flash my fangs. The thing before ne just laughed. "Look at this kid, do you believe him?" asked the beast to one of his goons. I'm still in my defensive stance unable to move.
    The two of us began to stare each other down. It was silent. All I felt was burning hot breath. The area was silent. Everyone was staring at us. Until Spring finally butts in to kill the moment with reassuring barks. Licking both of our faces. "Hey babe." says beast intentionally turning his back on me. I let his tail smack me in the face. "This runt yours?"he asks. Something triggered a reaction I couldn't stop. I tried to bite his tail but got swatted in the face.
    "He's my brother, and I told you don't call me babe." said Spring clearly disgusted. "Your brother huh? Well you better tell this runt about me. Because apparently, this little guy doesn't know I'm the son of great alpha Rip jaw. You're lucky enough to be speaking to me kid. Oh and by the way, lift some weights scronny. You look like my toothpick." he responded.
    With that being said, he shot me a fearsome look and swatted my face once more. I held back the urge to kill him. I knew I wouldn't stand a chance. And, something tells me I'll be seeing him again really soon.
    "Who was that?" I ask after Spring and I are out of earshot of the beast. "That's my ex boyfriend Spit Fire. He's the son of Rip Jaw our complete alpha of the the multi-nation pack Blue Moon pack. Apparently,it's a huge honor to be apart of the pack.
    Even the Omegas are treated like kings and queens there. Why you ask?" said Spring. "No reason sis, it's just that he doesn't look like he likes me." I respond. "It's alright Luke. If he harms a hair or piece of fur on your body.." I cut het off ."It's alright sis. It's just I got this vibe something bad will happen. Worse, it will include him" "It's okay bro, it's probably just first day jitters. Don't worry, you'll do fine. Just  don't show off too much."said Spring smiling. She licked my face once more before we departed our separate ways.
     I don't like this Spit Fire character one bit. Something about the way he glared at me before we departed. I made sure I glared right back darkly and as fiercely as I could. "You don't scare mr puny. I'm saving you because  of your sis you got that? But if  you you cross my path again oh please be aware you won't live to see another day." He grunted before leaving.
     The last words he said echoed in my ears. Yep, I don't like him at all. I can already tell this is going to be a long year.
