Alpha Jake's point of view

I decided to shift into Hank and let him take control once his total shock was in control. I know how surprised he is about this whole thing. First we get shot up by silver bullets. Yet, we survive and watch horrendously as our adopted pack member Luke dies. And in the process he acts like some kind of god. Right now though, I wouldn't care less what happened. My only goal was to save Luke.

I already know that little heart of his is not beating. But he's not dead. I know because Hank said he could feel the presence of Luke and his wolf Al. But the down side to all of that is he could also feel an evil presence among the two. I have to know more. so as soon as we get him to the pack doctor I'm calling in the pack witch. She'll hopefully know what to do.

15 minutes of nonstop sprinting later:

I've finally made it to the pack doctor's house. As some bowed their heads in respect others quickly realized why I was here. As soon as they did I could hear a series of whimpers and gasps. Spring looked ready to die. And Silver was no better. She broke down into tears at the site of the little furball. So everyone's on the same mournful note as of now.

"oh my god! What happened?" yelled Silver. Hank responded for me. " I don't know Venus. Luke was shot possibly dead by a silver bullet straight in the head. Yet there are no signs of extreme bleeding." he said. Venus is Silver's nickname and Silver's wolf. Only Hank and I can tell the difference between the two when Venus likes to take control while Silver's in her human form.

But I'm not completely concerned about that. What I'm concerned about is My little mate Spring over there. She looks like somebody took an atomic bomb and dropped it in an ocean just to see what it would do. Spring seemed to want to die. More than ever she was crying. Wolves don't cry unless their human takes control. Wait, Spring's about to shift!

"Quick, someone grab a blanket!" I yelled. Nobody asked why. Within seconds my Beta tossed me a large blanket. Bones cracking stopped everyone's chatter as we all watched the new unexpected spectacle of my mate. At first, there were muffled howls of pain that soon turned into garbled screams as we all watch Spring shift for the first time.

And in front of us made us gasp. The most beautiful woman I've ever seen with long, beautiful, brown flowing hair and skin so beautiful that I almost forgot to cover her up. "Mine! Mate!" yelled Hank through the pack link/ out loud as if nobody could already tell. "Luna." said the pack as they all bowed their heads in respect. No way! She's my mate. But why wait until now to reveal herself? Why did the moongodess not tell me before about her? And further more, why is this her first time being human?

"Excuse me, excuse me." said a voice from behind. Linda, our pack witch, has finally arrived. What took her so long? "Sorry I'm late alpha, I had to do some last minute shopping for our new Luna." said Linda. "What's a Luna?" said a voice so gentle that Hank was howling in my head. Oh great, Now I'm really going to have my image of tough and heartless Alpha destroyed. Because right now, I'm in love.

Then I remembered why I called Linda in the first place. It was For Luke on the verge of death. Spring was handed a couple gift bags that were carried away by one of my warriors to her room that had a queen sized bed for her comfort.

" Ah yes, my dear Luke. Such a gentle child." said Linda. The room went quiet as anticipation greeted curiosity hand in hand as everyone wanted to know more. "He's in a coma. Yes, he's alive." she said. I released a breath I didn't know I was holding. That was relieving, but she had more to say. "I'm afraid, he's crossed to a point to where we can't help him. H's crossed to a realm that very few leave alive. We can only hope he survives." said Linda.

Gasps rang out from the crowd. There's a possibility Luke could die. I'm not hearing that correctly, I can't be. "The positive side to this is I have the power to help us all view his battle. An Image will appear on the wall as we watch his and his wolf's fight commence. If the time is right, he will survive. But the chances are uneven at this current time." said Linda.

I've got to go now. This chapter has gotten a little to long for me. Tell me what you think about Spring. Should I have explained her more? This is the point where I leave. I might update soon. I don't know. All I need to say right now is Peace Shifter Group. And may life be at ease for you.
