Chapter 15: Great, a werewolf pack

          My point of view
"You're coming with us after you shift."commanded the alpha. "Do as he says kid, he's doing us a favor." said Al. I finally snapped out of gazing at my mate and began to focus. A couple minutes later I'm back to my normal human self.
But the funny thing was, the alpha was the only one that shifted from his wolf form. "You've got a lot of explaining to do kid. And don't worry, I just made things easier for you and your wolf by getting you to shift. Because in your pup form you've have been smothered by 200 wolves who want a piece of the new kid.
They'll do that regardlessly because your little sister over there is just like you." said the alpha. He had a calm snd genuine smile that meant well. My mate finally shifted so we could walk together. The others stayed close behind.
Charlie shifted and decided to comfort a whimpering Spring and carry her in his arms. Petting her softly to calm her down.
The closer we got to the pack house just ahead the more I got this uneasy feeling about everyone starting at us. There were mixtures of growls, snarls, and whimpers erupting from the area.
It was hard to believe we made it to the pack house alive. At the front door I was greeted by the wonderful smell of food. Just thinking about it made my stomach growl. I stayed close to Charlie and Spring to make sure I'm safe with a small sense of comfort because Al found my mate.
I'm going to have to ask this alpha about mates later.
            Alpha's point of view
I couldn't help but glance back at the kid and his little group every step we took. I couldn't help but notice my sister seemed to be standing a bit close to him. I chuckled to myself about what kind of girl he's going to be with. He's going to have one heck of a time.
I decided to look over at the little fluff ball of a wolf cradling in the shifter's hand. She looked cute curled up in her little ball in the guys arms asleep. Even Hank felt a soft side for these kids.
The three have probably been through a whole lot of stuff. And I can tell they're hungry judging by common sense. "You guys will get some food in a little while. Here's where you'll be sleeping for the night. It's not much, but it's what we have. Oh and kid, I have some things to ask you. Follow me and my sis to my office." I say. Is it just me, or did I turn into a mega softy?
"You're right about that one Jerald. I haven't been so soft on anybody for so long." said Hank.
               My point of view
Right now, I'm afraid. Completely and utterly afraid. Al urges me not to worry, but I still do. I don't know if I can trust them. But maybe I can. I stick around and do a Q and A session with this guy. Turns out his name is Jerald Conway the alpha of the blue moon pack. He  sounded sincere enough.
A couple hours later I finally got the concept of mates while talking to my ovn at the eating table, where the house was packed with hungry werewolves that huge platefuls of food. And I thought I had a bottomless pit in my stomach.
         Alpha's point of view
I'm glad to see the kid calmed down a bit so we could talk.  I found out he was originally human until his father changed everything. Only him and the mother knew how much power he wielded. He'll make an excellent new member of the pack after all of what he's been through.
I feel sorry for the fact he doesn't know how to use his full potential. Which makes me glad to help him out. I can't wait to help with his adventure. This will be worth the time.
I promised him we would keep his secret in the name of the great wolf's son on the moon goddess.
