Haunted Thundermans

(Skipped Pheebs Will Rock You because I couldn't find a place to put Lindsey. Sorry)
Lindsey's POV

It was Halloween and I was at the Thunderman's house. I was with Phoebe figuring out costume we should wear and Phoebe decided on being a pirate. I chose to be Little Red Riding Hood because I didn't feel like going to the store and buying a new costume.

"Hey, mom, have you seen my black eyeliner?" Phoebe asked her mother as she and I walked down the stairs. "I need it for my Halloween costume."

"You guys are dressing up for Halloween?" Max asked in amusement.

"Yeah, Cherry's having a big bash. I'm sure if you want to come, everyone would not want that." Phoebe told her brother.

"Good. Halloween's lame." Max rolled his eyes. "Begging for candy. Cheesy costumes. Am I right, Colosso?"

I turned my head to find Colosso in a wizard costume. I snickered.

"Oh, yeah, totally lame." He agreed.

"Happy Halloween, guys!" I heard Nora announce from the stairs. We turned to find Nora in a Sushi costume and Billy in a racecar driver costume.

"Oh, hey. A little racecar driver and an adorable little-" Hank glanced at her wife.

"Sushi." She whispered.

"Sushi!" Hank smiled like he knew what she was.

"Thanks to my superspeed, we're gonna rake in candy from all over the world," Billy explained.

"But we're skipping the countries where candy tastes like goat," Nora added.

"Alert! Alert!" The Thunder Monitor announced as the monitor appeared. Super President Kickbutt as on the screen "Emergency transmission from the Hero League!"

"The Hero League?" Hank muttered as he and Barb stood up.

"It's Super President Kickbutt," Barb mumbled as she straightened out her clothes. Phoebe sat down and I stood next to her.

"Thunderman, we have a situation," Kickbutt informed. "The Green Ghoul has escaped."

"The Green Goul? Dad, didn't you throw him in prison?" Max inquired his father.

"You're darn right. Twenty years ago. You wouldn't recognize me. It's before I had kids." Hank sniffled, patting his belly.

"Yeah, because having kids was hard on your hips." Barb scolded, sarcastically. I chuckled.

"This youngster was seen in the area during the escape." Kickbutt began and a hologram of a boy in a pumpkin costume appeared in front of us. "I'm not sure why he's wearing a pumpkin outfit, but maybe he can help. We've tracked his whereabouts to New Orleans."

"New Orleans? The guy is right here" Billy gestured to the hologram of the boy and I rolled my eyes. If only it were that simple.

"You're the only superhero to ever defeat the Green Ghoul. We need you to come out of retirement and do it again." Kickbutt ordered Hank as the hologram disappeared. "We will deliver everything you need."

Suddenly a metal suitcase fell into the house, making another huge hole in the ceiling. We all got startled by the sudden crash.

"Can you tell us when?" Billy asked Kickbutt and we all turned to him.

"Good luck, Thunderman. Super President out!" The Monitor lowered and the call ended.

"Are you gonna do it, dad?" Billy asked his father with hope.

"The world needs me, Billy. It may be the most, dangerous, life-threatening assignment of my career." Hank started and turned to us. "And you're all coming with me! You too, Lindsey!"

"Yay!" Nora cheered.

"Family Vacation!" Billy and Nora hi-fived.

"Kids, this is not a vacation. Your dad's going to battle the Green Ghoul." Barb explained stepping over to her husband.

"Wait, Hank, what about our party? Phoebe's bringing the dip." I asked and Phoebe nodded.

"She is the dip." Max corrected and his sister glared at him, while I whacked his belly which was a lot harder then I expected it to be.

"I'm sorry, girls, the Green Ghoul might come here looking for me. It's not safe for you guys to stay here." Hank apologized and I sighed.

"Well, we're not missing the party of the year because of some ghoul." Phoebe declared." And there is no way you are making me go to New Orleans."

----

And just like that, we were in a bakery shop in New Orleans.

"Welcome to New Orleans!" Hank announced.

Phoebe and I sat down the couch and texted our friends. We both wanted to go to that party.

"According to the hero league, pumpkin boy has been spotted in this bakery." I heard Hank say to his family, minus Phoebe. Seems like they know his weakness.

"Hm, sounds like he knows your weakness," Max mentioned, making me grin a little.

"Okay, we may be close to danger, so, I need each of you to wear of these," Hank informed us and I turned to him. Hank was holding some necklaces in his hand.

"Cool mood necklaces. What's my mood, Nora?" Billy asked his sister as he got the necklace.

"Clueless." She stated and put on the necklace.

"It contains a jewel called, demonite, which can protect against ghost possession." Hank continued and handed Phoebe and me our necklaces.

"And do not take them off, if the green ghoul were to possess one of you, and added your powers to his, there'd be no stopping him," Barb explained to us in a firm tone.

A lady walked in, who I assume is the owner, and welcomed Hank and Barb a seat.

"It's Halloween, we should be going to Cherry's party with all our friends, not sitting here wearing demon bling," Phoebe complained as Max came up to us, putting his bag on the arm of the couch. Max took off his necklace

"Why are you taking off your demon bling?" I asked Max as he put it in his pocket.

"Becuase I don't want to ward off the Green Ghoul, I want to catch him. If I take down the greatest supervillain ever, then I'd be the greatest ever." Max explained to us and I scoffed. Like he can do that.

"Your dad said he's a level thirteen ghost. What makes you think you can take him down?" I questioned Mak with a grin on my face.

"Because I have this." Max opened his bag and Colosso popped out wearing multiple necklaces.

"Hello, New Orleans!" Colosso greeted and I snickered as Max groaned.

"Colosson, what are you doing here?" He asked Colosso.

"I came for Fudge squares and sweet tea," Colosso replied sarcastically. "What, are you stupid? I came here to watch you take down the Green Ghoul."

"Deal with you later." Max shoved Colosso back inside his bag. "This is what I was talking about..." Max pulled out a strange device. I stood up while Phoebe remained sitting. "My Ghost Zapper. It detects the presence of ghosts and can blast away the ghost's powers." The Ghost Zapper went off. "Oh! It's got something."

"Wow, that things really good." I smiled but I quickly changed my mind when it pointed at lemon squares. "At detecting lemon squares."

"Could be a haunted lemon square, you don't know." Max defended and I nodded.

"Ah." I sat down on the stool and Phoebe joined me moments later. Billy and Nora sat down the couch and Max sat next to me.

Seconds later, a young boy walked out and stood in front of the table. "One levitating table coming up."

He squatted down and attempted to levitate the table but he only made grunting noises.

"I know that face. Do you need to go to the bathroom?" Nora asked the boy who screamed in fear. I jumped a little as he screamed and ran away.

Suddenly something began to move in Hank's suitcase. It was thrashing around frantically.

The Thunderman kids and I went up to the bag to investigate.

"What's going on with Dad's suitcase?" Phoebe asked alarmed.

Suddenly, a boy appeared in front of us, making us scream.

"I saw your suit!" The boy exclaimed. "Your Thunderman!"

Hank and Barb scurried out of their seats.

"How did you just do that?" I asked the boy with confusion.

"Oh, the poofing? I'm a ghost." He informed, smiling.

"Oh." The twins and I sighed before realizing what he was and the five of us screamed again.

"Wait, they can see and hear ghosts?" I turned around to find the owner and a teenage girl who I assume is her daughter.

"Uh, what. we-we don't have ghosts." The owner lied. I know she's lying.

"Michelle, it's okay. They have the gift, all superheroes do." The boy informed the woman named Michelle.

Hank laughed nervously. "The boy is clearly delusional. We're not superheroes!"

"Yeah, if we were, could I do this?" Billy asked and super sped around the table a few times. If you want a secret exposed, let Billy do it.

"I'm gonna say "yes." Michelle nodded.

"Hey, it's little pumpkin boy!" I pointed to the young boy who Kickbutt showed us earlier.

"Only my grandma calls me that, ma'am!" He scolded. "I'm out of here!"

The boy tried to poof away but instead, he flashed on a pizza costume. This is insane.

"What is happening?!" Phoebe exclaimed, stressed out.

Suddenly an older man appeared. "What's all the noise?"

Barb got startled and her electricity shot out of her fingers and burnt a poster a little girl was holding up.

"Sweet! Could you do that to about 4,000 more of these?" The little girl asked her.

"Well, if the jig is up. I'm just gonna heat up this brownie." Nora informed us and used her laser eyes to heat up her brownie.

"I think I'll just close up for the day," Michelle suggested and went to over to the door.

----

So, turns out the ghost family, the Preston's, live here with a family called the Hathaways. Ray, the father, Miles, the oldest son, and Louie, the youngest son. The Hathaway family is Michelle, the mother, Taylor, the oldest daughter, and Frankie, the youngest daughter.

What an odd bunch.

The parents began talking about the Green Ghoul with Miles.

"Hey, Taylor, right? I've never passed my hand through a ghost before!" Max sat down next to Taylor and whacked her in the shoulder, thinking it would go right through her.

She flinched in pain. "And still haven't. Not a ghost."

Max shrugged and went to walk away but Taylor stopped him. "Hey, can I ask you a question? Do you think it's weird a boy I just started dating would father deworm dogs than go to a party with me?"

I mean if he had a good reason, but other then that no.

"Hm, not sure I care," Max told her. Typical Max.

"No, really, It's just-- I mean, I love that he loves animals. But it's Halloween and-" Max got bored of her rambling and used his freeze breath on her.

I glared at Max and so did Phoebe. I whacked him in the arm but he didn't care.

I unfroze Taylor with my fire manipulation and Phoebe and I sat down next to her.

"I apologize for my brother. You'll like him less when you get to know him." Phoebe told Taylor which made her smile.

Us three were talking when a very attractive guy walked into the store.

He noticed us and went up to us. "Oh, hello, ladies."

"Chad? You made eye contact. You okay?" Taylor asked the cute guy who is named Chad.

"Never better." He replied and I immediately stood up to introduce myself and Phoebe followed. "Hi, I'm Chad."

"I'm Lindsey and this is Phoebe." I introduced shaking his hand.

"I'm having a Halloween party tonight. Would the both of you like to come?" Chad suggested and I nodded, smiling.

"Yes."

"And miss spending quality time with my family? You could literally be anyone and I would say "yes." Phoebe told him.

Taylor stood up with a cheerful smile. "Awesome! We can all go together!"

I noticed Chad was staring at me which caused me to blush.

"Dang it, now it's flashing again." Max groaned and I turned to him. He saw Chad and hid his Ghost Zapper. "Oh. Sorry, but I won't be able to attend your little shindig."

"Didn't invite ya," Chad informed, making me giggle. "Until tonight, Lindsey."

I gave him a wave as he left.

"What's that guy's problem?" Max asked.

"Oh, you mean that he's cute, charming, and doesn't like you?" Phoebe answered. "Not a problem."

Taylor and I giggled before we walked away to get ready for the party.

"Whatever." I heard Max say.

----

Taylor, Phoebe, and I got dressed in our costumes for the party.

I thought I looked great in my costume. All of us did.

The three of us walked out in and we saw Barb and Michelle standing there.

"Ta-da!" The three of us cheered.

"Oh, come on, girls, put your costumes on. It's getting late." Michelle complained and she and Barb laughed

"Arg, our mothers be cracking jokes," Phoebe told us, embarrassed. Taylor and I chuckled.

"Lindsey, you look amazing. Chad will love it!" Taylor twinkled and I smiled brightly at her.

"Really? I hope he does." The three of us giggled. Suddenly Miles poofed in wearing a purple superhero costume with the letters "PP" on his chest.

"Don't worry about the girls! Phoebe's and Lindsey's sidekick, the Pulverizing Phantom will be there to protect you!" Miles declared and I raised an eyebrow at him.

"PP?" I repeated.

He nodded. "That's right. PP is here. PP is there. PP is everywhere!"

I mentally facepalmed, wondering how he doesn't hear how weird that sounds.

He noticed our faces. "What?" Miles looked down and realized his mistake. "Now I hear it."

The three of us then left in the elevator to go to the party.

----

Taylor, Phoebe, and I walked into the house where the party was at. Everyone was dressed in costume and the party looked totally awesome. It may not be Cherry's party but it's a party.

Taylor's phone buzzed. "Another text from Scott? I feel bad. I think I really scared him when I teased him about bringing another date to the party."

"Taylor, he ditched you for dog worms." I reminded her.

"Yeah, let's keep that between us," Taylor suggested and I smiled.

"She's saying he could use a little scaring and you could use an awesome party," Phoebe explained for me, making her smile.

"Speaking of awesome, Chad is totally checking you out, Linds!" Taylor told me and I turned to find Chad smirking at me. I blushed and turned to the girls.

"Omg, how do I look?" I asked them, fixing my hair.

"Great!" Phoebe told me and looked behind me. "Here he comes."

"Good luck." Taylor smiled before they walked away.

I turned around and Chad was standing in front of me, looking cute as ever.

"Lindsey! You came!" He smiled at me.

"Hey, Chad. How are you?" I asked him, twirling my hair with my finger.

"I'm great. Can I show you around? The moonlit garden is positively... bewitching." Chad offered and I felt a smiled form.

"Uh, yeah, I'd like that." I nodded and out of nowhere Miles appeared in front of me. Nobody else could see him so I couldn't talk to him in front of Chad

"Sidekick in the house!" He announced and danced around. I groaned quietly but gave Chad a warm smile.

"Sorry, Cad, would you excuse us, uh, me?" I questioned, Chad, gently pushing him away.

I gave Miles an annoyed look.

"Hey, check it out. Invisibility isn't my only superpower." Miles started and began to dance like a robot. "Funky dance moves. Activate! Woo! Woo! Woo! Woo!"

"What are you doing?" I muttered to him, hoping nobody hears me.

"Honestly, second-guessing the tights," Miles confessed and I sighed.

I heard the sound of Max's Ghost Zapper and I turned to find him climbing in the window. I groaned. "Oh, now what?"

I leaned against the wall as he climbed inside the house.

"Pretending. I'll show Dad who's pretending." Max turned to me and he let out a yelp when he saw me. "OOHH!

"Max, what are you doing here? I thought you were out ghost hunting?" I asked him.

"I am. My Ghost Zapper id detecting extreme ghost activity at this party." Max explained and I shook my head. "I'm hoping it would lead me... right... too" Max followed his Zapper until it found Miles.

"Miles!" Max exclaimed and Miles smiled at him.

Miles danced away. "Drive the bus! Ahh! Ahh! Drive the bus! Ahh! Ahh!"

I gave Miles the strangest look as he danced away. He's a strange kid.

"Wait a minute. Miles isn't the only ghost here." Max winked at me. "The hunt continues. By the way, you look great tonight."

I raised an eyebrow at him. "Thanks."

"Uh, oh," Max said and I turned to find the bouncer coming toward us. "Bouncer's coming." Max ran away and I sighed.

"Finally."

I walked around, trying to find Chad. I eventually found him and gave him a warm smile.

"There you are." Chad grinned. "Ready for that garden stroll?"

He offered me his arm and I gladly accepted.

"Lindsey." I froze and growled under my breath and turned to Miles. "I have urgent sidekick news. There's an apple-bobbing contest on the front porch. All I'm worried about is that guy." Miles pointed to a guy wearing a horse mask.

I made up an excuse to get Miles away from me. "Oh, you know, I lost my phone."

"I'm on the case." Miles declared. "Fear not! PP will cover this entire house."

Miles ran off and I rolled my eyes. That sounded wrong.

"Does he really not hear himself?" I said as he ran off. I realized that Chad heard me and gave him a sheepish smile. "I talk to myself a lot. Let's go!"

He offered me his arm and we walked out into the garden.

Chad and I walked into the garden and it was a beautiful night.

"Such a beautiful night," I stated.

"A beautiful night. A beautiful girl." Chad flirted, making me blush.

I rolled my eyes feeling flattered. "Oh, stop it."

"Okay." He said but I quickly corrected myself.

"No, I have to say that. Keep going." I eagerly told him.

He stared at my necklace. "That amulet is fascinating. May I see it?"

I touched the necklace and gave him a weird look. "Yeah, I guess so." I removed my hood and took off the necklace. I handed it to him.

"Pure demonite." Chad examined the amulet closely. "Keeps you from ghostly possession."

"Uh, how'd you know that, Chad?" I asked Chad confused.

Chad faced me and his eyes were green and his voice became deeper. "Because I'm not Chad."

Seconds later I blacked out.

Third Person's POV

The Green Ghoul possessed Lindsey. She noticed Chad and knocked him out by punching him in the face.

"With my ghost powers and, and Lindsey Earnest's superpowers, I will rule the world!" The Ghoul announced. "But first, to get my revenge on Thunderman."

Green Ghoul used Lindsey's sonic scream to destroy a birdbath. He then laughed sinisterly.

"Muwahahahaha!"

Ghoul used Lindsey's Fire Manipulation to burn down a tree.

"Fire Manipulation? Ooh, this is fun. Like a new toy." Green Ghoul smirked.

Lindsey's body began to fight off the Green Ghoul.

"Get out of me you green slimeball!" Lindsey exclaimed. She then began to hit herself unwillingly.

"Why are you hitting yourself?" The Green Ghoul teased. "Stop hitting yourself. Why are you hutting yourself?"

Miles walked out and noticed Chad on the ground. "Looks like some people just can't hold their candy." He saw Lindsey. "Oh, Lindsey, I looked everywhere, but no sign of your phone."

"Begone, pesky little boy!" Ghoul sneered.

MIles was taken back. "Linds, I'm sensing you're not loving the whole sidekick idea. May I point out that I could be a very valuable asset. I'm a level five ghost." Miles chuckled proudly.

"Well, I'm a level thirteen." Green Ghoul showed Miles his green eyes. Miles who he was talking too and moved back.

"So, we're not gonna apple-bob?" Miles asked in fear. Lindsey used her ice manipulation on Miles, freezing his entire body.

(I added Ice Manipulation to Lindsey's powers just because I wanted her to be possessed instead of Phoebe)

"See you around, PP Boy." Green Ghoul said an then thought for a moment. "You should really change that."

Time passed and Max and Taylor ran out into the garden. Chad was just waking up. Phoebe stayed inside with Louie.

"Hey Ghoul!" Max yelled and pointed the Ghost Zapper at Chad. "Tell me where Lindsey is!"

"I-I don't know. I'm not even sure what I'm doing out here." Chad told them, confused. He looked at his costume and hopped onto his feet. "What the? I was supposed to be dressed as Ryan Seacrest!"

Max was angry. He wanted Lindsey back.

"Drop the act!" Max exclaimed.

"Max, wait, I don't think the ghoul's in there anymore. How would he know every year Chad goes as Ryan Seacrest?" Taylor asked.

"That makes no sense." Max furrowed his eyebrows confused.

"I know it sounds weird but he puts on a blonde wig and skinny jeans and sorta pulls it off," Taylor explained.

"No, I meant why would the ghoul leave?" Max questioned.

"I think I know why!"

Colosso poked his head out of Max's backpack and Max and Phoebe rolled their eyes. Taylor was freaked out by this.

"Did a talking bunny just pop out of your backpack?" Taylor asked.

"Oh, look, it's the girl who's cheating on Scott." Colosso pointed out and Taylor gasped. "That's right, everyone's talking about it."

Max gave her a grimaced look.

"How dare you? I would never-"

"Talk to the paw, girlfriend!" Colosso raised his paw interrupting her.

"Guys, enough. We need to find Lindsey." Max declared.

Lindsey walked out, still possessed. "I'm right here, pretty boy!"

Max and Taylor stared at Lindsey. Colosso hid in the backpack.

"Found her!" Colosso said.

"He's possessed, Lindsey." Taylor pointed out the obvious.

"You're not going anywhere, Ghoul." Max proclaimed, removing his backpack.

"Ow!" Colosso exclaimed.

Ghoul used Lindsey's real voice. "Oh, come on, Max. You wouldn't hurt me, would you?"

Max's face fell for a few seconds. Max cares about Lindsey deeply but he has to hurt her.

His face hardened. "I'm not hurting, Lindsey. I'm hurting the Green Ghoul."

"Fine! You wanna play? Let's play!" Ghoul announced and removed Lindsey's hood.

"Okay, that voice does not go with that dress." Taylor pointed out.

Ghoul used his telekinesis to send the Ghost Zapper our of the garden.

"Well, that wasn't very nice." Max sneered. "Guess, I'll just have to take you down old-school style." He turned to Taylor. "Step back."

Max went to attack but Ghoul stopped him with his powers and shoved him back to the ground.

Ghoul used Lindsey's Fire Manipulation and Ice Manipulation but Max rolled out of the way. Ghoul sent a sonic wave at Max but he backflipped out of the way. Max used his heat breath but Ghoul dodged it and Max flipped over to Lindsey. They began to physically fight each other until Ghoul hit Max to the ground.

"You're braver than I thought, Max," Ghoul said, approaching him. "How about you join me in taking down your old man?"

Max stood up unharmed and brushed his shirt. "I don't think so, Ghoul."

"Now, hang on." Colosso cut in. "Let's hear him out. It's only polite."

Taylor gave Colosso a look.

Max went to attack again but Ghoul stopped him with his telekinesis and shoved him to the ground.

"I thought I sensed a darkness in you, Max. I could've shaped you into a true villain." Ghoul informed Max, who was staying up at him. Max saw Lindsey more than the Ghoul. "But I guess you're just a pretender."

Ghoul then walked out of the garden and made his way to Thunderman.

----

Green Ghoul walked into the Hathaway's living room. Hank. Barb, Michelle, and Ray were all trapped inside the ghost cage that is meant for the Green Ghoul.

Barb saw Lindsey and sighed with relief.

"Lindsey! You're okay!" She exclaimed.

"Of course, I'm okay!" Lindsey said in her real voice. "I'm totally groovy, as the kids in modern society say."

"Lindsey, we accidentally got stuck in here," Hank informed her. "Let me out so I can head off the Green Ghoul."

"Sure, Hank, let me get that for you." Lindsey offered and opened the door for him. Lindsey opened the door but closed it when Hank was freed, keeping the others from escaping.

"Oh! To clarify, sweetie, I think he meant all of us." Barb clarified, gesturing to the three of them.

"Lindsey? You feeling okay?" Hank asked her, worried.

"Never better." The Green Ghoul responded in his voice. "I'm about to do what I've been dreaming about for twenty years!"

"Oh, the teen years, am I right?" Michelle muttered to Barb

"You're the Green Ghoul!" Hank exclaimed.

"Just like old times, eh, Thunderman?" Ghoul smirked and roared loudly, causing the entire house to shake, violently.

"Cage stayed up!" Ray chuckled, proudly. "That's all me!"

"Leave Lindsey out of this. Come out and fight me face-to-face." Hank ordered.

"Sorry, can't do that. Ghost powers!" Ghost levitated into the air. "Plus superpowers." Ghoul used Lindsey's Fire Manipulation to attack Hank but he moved. "Equals unstoppable! Muwahahahahaha!"

Ghoul lowered to the ground and levitated Hank into the air

"Don't worry, Thunderman. I'll make this as painful as possible for you."

Ghoul throws Hank onto the coffee table, breaking it in the process.

"My husband!" Barb exclaimed.

"My coffee table!" Michelle exclaimed. Barb looked at her. "Uh, I mean your husband!"

Ghoul bounced Hank up and down on the floor with his telekinesis.

"Yo, Hank, any time you wanna use your superpowers, big guy?" Ray suggested.

"He can do what he wants to me I'm not gonna fight, Lindsey." Hank breathed out, sitting up.

"Then why don't you fight your son?" Max suggested, walking in. Ghoul got into a fighting stance.

"Max, what are you doing?" Hank asked his son, getting on his feet.

"Proving I'm no pretend supervillain," Max replied and looked at Ghoul. "You said I have potential, Ghoul. I'm ready to learn from the best."

Ghoul lowered his hands and gave Max a smirk. Max loves Lindsey's smirk.

"You're joining the Green Ghoul? But he's an ugly, vile, sub-creature!" Barb reasoned.

"Uh, standing right here," Ghoul mentioned and turned to Max. "If you're truly ready to embrace evil, then you won't mind if I hurl your father into the farthest reaches of the universe?"

Ghoul used his telekinesis to opened the nearest window, letting the wind blow inside the house.

"Nope, all good." Max agreed, glaring at his father. "Let it rip."

"Max." Hank began.

"I told you, Dad. This is who I am." Max told his father, slowly approaching him. "But before you go, you should know one thing, I'd never turn against you!"

Max turned around and used his freeze breath on Ghoul but moved out of the way.

"Miles, now!" Max called and Miles, Phoebe, and Taylor ran in.

"Miles, what are you doing?" Ray asked his son, sternly.

"Fighting for justice. My powers are back!" MIles declared and poofed into Lindsey's body while she was distracted.

Ghoul and MIles began fighting in Lindsey's body. Lindsey's body thrashed around

"Son! Get out of there! Two ghost possession the same body is way to dangerous!" Ray exclaimed to his son.

"I can do this!" Miles said and right then the Green Ghoul left Lindsey's body. Miles left her body soon after.

Lindsey stood there weak and confused. Max ran up to her, worried and wrapped an arm around her.

Lindsey's POV

"Lindsey? Is that you?" Max asked, brushing some hairs out of my face. I don't know what happened, but I feel out of it.

I looked at Max and gave him a confused look. "What do you want, Max?"

"Yeah, that's her. That's her." Max nodded and pulled me away from the cage that was here.

"You alright, Lindsey?" Hank asked me and I nodded.

"I think so."

Phoebe came up to me and hugged me. "I'm glad you're okay."

Once everyone was freed from the cage, Barb ran up to me.

Suddenly, the Ghost Ghoul came back and Max stood in front of me.

"Oh, I'm not going anyway!" Ghoul declared.

"You're outnumbered. Get in the Ghost cage." Max ordered him.

"Who's gonna make me?" Ghoul asked. "I'm the Green Ghoul!"

He vanished but his voice was still lingering. Max wrapped an arm around me, keeping me close to his chest.

"You're just a sad collection of ex-superheroes, low-level ghosts-" He appeared again next to Michelle, startling all of us. Max tightened his grip on me. "I'm not even sure who you are."

"A single mom trying to make it on her own in a new city, thank you very much!" Michelle informed the ghoul, moving her daughter away from him.

Ghoul got in a fighting stance and Max put me behind me.

"He's still got ghost powers!" Hank announced.

"Not if he can't snap. I got this!" Ray used his powers to keep Ghoul from snapping. Max used his freeze breath but it didn't affect Ghoul

"I...can't...hold...much longer!" Ray exclaimed, struggling to hold the Ghoul.

"Phoebe! Double Freeze Breath!" Max suggested and she turned to him.

"What? Max! If our two paths touch, we'll freeze the whole city!" Phoebe protested and I rolled my eyes.

I stepped up and used my Ice Manipulation on Ghoul. Max and Phoebe looked at the Ghoul as I froze him from head to toe.

We all cheered and I stood there, proud of myself.

Max turned to me and we hugged for the first time. I like the feeling of his arms around me.

"I'm glad you're alright." He whispered to me.

We pulled away and I glared at the frozen Ghoul.

"That's what you get for possessing me!"

Phoebe gave me a hi-five.

Barb electrocuted Ghoul. "That's for messing with my husband!"

Hank grinned at his wife.

"This is for my coffee table!" Michelle and whacked the ghoul with his breadstick.

"Let's put him in the cage," Ray suggested and he and Miles attempted to lift up Ghoul with their powers but he wouldn't move.

"Man, he's heavy!" Miles said.

"I got this," Hank told them and the two ghosts stopped. "Stand back." Hank lifted the Ghoul over his hand and over to the cage. "Back to prison, Ghoul!" He slammed the door shut and the Ghoul shattered into pieces.

"NOOOOOOOO!" The Ghoul cried. We congratulated Hank on his accomplishment and Hank congratulated me on freezing Ghoul.

Getting a compliment from Thunderman felt good, even though he feels like a second father to me.

"That was incredible! You kids were amazing! True superheroes!" Hank expressed making all of us smile.

"Thanks, Dad," Phoebe said.

"Thanks, Hank," I added.

"Max, I know you don't like the hero word, but I was wrong to think you couldn't handle yourself. You can. I'm sorry." Hank apologized to his son who gave him a grin.

"All hail the Green Ghoul!" Colosso popped out of Max's backpack. Max sighed and Hank glared at Colosso. "I mean, I knew you could do it, buddy!"

I shoved Colosso back into his bag and zipped it up.

"We're back!" I heard Frankie announced as she walked into with Billy, Louie, and Nora. I stared at Billy's whacky costume. He was a clown and a racecar driver with wings.

Frankie patted Hank's belly as she walked by. "Whaddup, Cap'n Lightning Bolt?"

"Best Haloween ever!" Billy beamed.

"Stomachache, here I come!" Nora cheered.

"Don't wanna be modest, so I won't. Louie Preston saved the day. Again!" Louie chuckled. "Billy, open up this cage so we can protect our candy."

"NO!" All of us protested, stopping them.

Do they not see a swirling ghost cloud in there?

"Fine Drama queens!" Louie singsonged.

----

The night I was in the bakery with Taylor, Max, Phoebe, and Miles. Phoebe and Miles were talking to each other. Taylor was pretty upset about Scott and hurting him unintentionally.

"Come on, Taylor, cheer up! We took down the Green Ghoul tonight, remember?" I reminded her, trying to cheer her up.

"Yeah, and I might have lost a guy in the process. A really good guy." Taylor told us, standing up. "He's a member of PAPPF!"

She spat during that and got it on Max and I. I wiped her spit off my cheek.

I heard the door open and Scott walked in. "Taylor?"

"Scott! Oh my gosh, we need to talk!" She went up to him.

"Yeah, we do. What the heck is going on? Uh, sorry for cursing." Scott asked her and I rolled my eyes. He really is a good guy if he thinks that is cursing.

"Will you just let me explain?" Taylor asked him. "The truth is is these guys are super-" Pheobe motioned her to not say the word "superheroes" and she changed her mind. "Old friends from Sweden!"

"Yeah, I like da meatballs!" Phoebe told Scott in a terrible Swedish accent. I snickered, shaking my head at her.

Scott turned to her, believing Taylor's lie. "

"Welcome to our country!" Scott greeted and Phoebe's eyes widen before sitting down.

"That still doesn't explain why you ran off with this guy!" Scott pointed to Max who came up to them.

"It's because I... lied to her, okay? I told her there was an emergency and I had to take her home, but the truth is... I was trying to keep her away from you because- I like her." Max confessed and I was taken back. I know he was lying, I can feel it, but why say that?

"What?" Scott said.

"Yeah, but the whole night, all she could talk about was you. How cool Scott is, how funny Scott is. She's really into you, dude. " Max finished and looked Taylor. "You can't blame me for trying, right?"

Max then walked away to let them talk. I turned to Max with a smile.

"I didn't know you liked, Taylor." I teased and he scoffed. He leaned on the couch, waving me off.

"Just lying to make them stay together." He informed. "Besides, I like another girl."

I folded my arms over my chest. "Oh. Who?"

"I'm not telling you." He stood straight up and Taylor came over to us.

"Thanks." She smiled at Max. "Maybe you're not sure a bad guy after all."

"Hey, keep that to yourself. I have a reputation to uphold." Max told her and Taylor walked back over to Scott.

"What reputation?" I joked and Max shoved me playfully. "Kidding."

Colosso popped out of the backpack and I rolled my eyes.

"Hey, so, what happened? Did Scott dump Taylor? Gimme the deets!" Colosso asked Max.

"No, I told him what happened and they're gonna stay together." Max denied, telling Colosso the truth.

"Ach! First, you save your father, then you save Taylor!" Colosso began. "You deserve what I've done in your backpack. Trick annnnnnnd Treat!"

I gave Colosso a disgusting look, shaking my head.

Max shoved Colosso back inside his bag and zipped it shut.

I never thought I would be possessed by a ghost but it happened.
