A Hero Is Born
(Lindsey's superhero name will be revealed this chapter)
Lindsey's POV
I was currently eating breakfast at the Thunderman's household. I spent the night because my brother wasn't home and I didn't want to be alone all night. He's been spending a lot of time with his girlfriend.
I spotted Phoebe and Cherry chatting in the living room and didn't care if I wasn't involved because they would've asked me to join if they did. Besides, I have Max and we can hang out all we want without it being a secret.
That makes me so happy to think about.
Recently I've been getting texts from two girls I knew in New York and they have apparently moved to Metroberg. That's a place for Superheroes, why did they move there?
I asked why they moved and neither of them have responded yet. Both of those girls weren't exactly sunshine's and daisies, they were the opposite is that. Must be weird to think that the sweet and innocent girl that stands here today hung out with bad girls and made terrible decisions. Nobody knows about my past and I plan to keep it that way. I've changed for the better.
I wasn't a villain or a superhero, I was in between. I didn't classify myself as anything because I didn't want to be a villain and I didn't want the girls to know I was a superhero. Yes, they knew about my powers and they took control of them. They abused my power which is why I don't speak to them anymore and another reason I left New York.
I have no idea why they've contacted me but I have no desire to find them again. They will just be two non-supe villains added to the Metroberg area.
"Linds." I heard a someone whisper and I looked up from my plate of untouched food. "You alright? You have touched your food."
I blinked a few times and nodded. "Yeah, just thinking."
He didn't seem convinced but left it alone and gave me a nod.
If Max found out about my past he would probably be excited because I was classified as a 'bad girl' and he would be very happy. Which is why I'm keeping it to myself, I don't want him to like me more because of that, he likes me for who I am and not who I was.
Nora walked in with a huge box with a picture of a dollhouse on it.
"Hey dad, will you put together my new dollhouse today?" Nora asked Hank. "It's only 500 hundred pieces."
"Huh, I can think of 500 reasons on why I don't want to do that," Hank responded.
"Please daddy. For me." Nora begged using her puppy dog eyes.
Hank gave in. "Aw, how can I say 'no' to my baby girl?" Hank kissed her forehead and took the dollhouse from her.
"How'd you do that?" Billy asked her as she sat down.
"Cuteness is my other superpower." Nora smiled.
I know that feeling. Being the baby of my family, I beg for something and my dad sometimes does it, if he can either afford it or handle it. I'm not needy, I only ask for stuff when I really want it.
Barb suddenly walked out smiling from ear to ear.
"Isn't it a beautiful morning? The sun is shining, the birds are singing." Barb mentioned and reached for the coffee maker but ended up shocking it with her electricity.
"Mom's nuking the coffee maker?" Max added in confused.
"Are you feeling alright, Barb?" Hank asked his wife.
"Yeah, just a weird little power surge." Barb shrugged and went over to the toaster. "Guess I'll just have some toast instead."
Barb reached for the toaster and the same exact thing happened.
"And there goes the toaster." I pointed out.
"Why is mom destroying the kitchen?" Phoebe asked.
"I'm probably just coming down with a cold." Barb guessed.
"Let's do a quick body scan just to be sure," Hank suggested and we all went into the living room.
The Thunder Monitor scanned Barb as the rest of us stood by for the results.
"Is mom okay dad?" Billy asked Hank, worriedly.
"Of course she if Billy." Hank declared. "There are three explanations for why your mother is getting power surges: a simple head cold, a disturbance in the stratosphere or-"
"Congratulations! Barb Thunderman is pregnant!"
We all stared at the Thunder Monitor in shock. Phoebe and I glanced at one another with shock and excitement.
Hank was so shocked that he fainted.
"And Hank Thunderman has passed out"
Moments later, Hank woke up from the shock of Barb being pregnant.
"Oh my gosh, mom! You're having a baby! I can't believe it!" Phoebe exclaimed with excitement and hugged her mother.
"Congrats, Barb!" I beamed.
"Sometimes these things aren't accurate. Your mom did have a big burrito last night." Hank mentioned, standing up. "Let's give it one more go."
Hank loaded up the Thunder Scan and monitor scanned Barb once again.
"Barb Thunderman: Still Pregnant"
"Yay." Nora cheered as the rest of us smiled in exhilaration.
Hank and Barb hugged each other happily.
"How do you feel, Barb?" I asked her, smiling.
"I'm happy and kind of in shock." Barb accidentally shocked Hank and Max pulled me back a little by my hips. "I'm sorry Hank. I'll get you an ice pack."
Barb went into the kitchen to get an ice pack.
"Alright, there's no time to waste. We need diapers, wipes- Oh! Everyone come up with baby names! No fruits or states." Hank informed us.
"Are tomatoes a fruit? Because I'm thinking 'Tomato Thunderman.'" Billy stated and Max and shared a look of confusion.
"l don't get it? What's the rush? We have nine months." Nora asked us.
"Actually, superhero babies come a little sooner than that," Phoebe explained to her little sister.
"How soon are we talking? A couple months, a few weeks?" Nora wondered and right then Barb came out fully pregnant and in pain.
"Today," Max said as we stared at Barb's huge baby belly.
"We need to start packing Hank." Barb breathed out in panic.
"Guys, you watch Billy and Nora while I take your mom to the Metroburg superhero hospital. Uh, Phoebe, Lindsey, I need the both of you to make a bunch of sandwiches for the trip." Hank ordered us he took Barb upstairs.
"Alright." I nodded.
"You got it." Phoebe agreed as the both of us went into the kitchen.
"Make something for me to!" Barb called.
"Good idea, Barb." Hank nodded.
Phoebe and I quickly made the sandwiches and went back into the living room.
"This is so exciting, guys." I smiled and sat down next to Max on the couch.
"Oh, what do you think our baby sisters' superpowers are going to be?" Phoebe asked joining us.
"Uh, first of all, it's going to be a boy and I hope he has the power of time travel so I can get out of this conversation," Max mentioned and I flicked his forehead causing him to wince a little.
Phoebe scoffed. "Come on, you know it's going to be a girl."
"Boy."
"Girl."
"Boy."
"Girl."
I got annoyed and whacked both of their arms causing each of them to say 'ow.'
"It does not matter. We'll find out in a few hours." I told them and they stopped arguing.
Seconds later, Phoebe jumped up.
"Oh gosh, Cherry. I promised her I'd go to Wong's to help her with a boy." Phoebe sighed, walking away.
Max stood up. "You're her boy expert? Who's yours?"
"Lindsey." Phoebe simple said and I gave her a smile. "She's great at giving advice."
"Not really." I denied, standing next to Max. "I just take my oldest cousin's advice and use that."
"Maybe I can still go and make it back before mom and dad get home." Phoebe declared. "With a girl."
"Boy," Max argued
"Boy." Phoebe
"Girl!" Max.
"Fine, girl!" Phoebe said and smirked.
Max cringed in defeat and Phoebe ran out of the house. I giggled at Max and kissed his cheek.
"She got ya." I teased and Max shook his head. "I gotta go home. Call me when the baby is here."
"Okay," Max said and pecked my lips before I left their house.
Once I made it to my house, I walked in and saw Daisy.
I haven't actually officially met her yet. She's very pretty and seems incredibly sweet.
"Hey, Daisy." I greeted and she turned to me.
"Hey, Lindsey." She smiled as I approached her body that was sitting on the couch. "It's so nice to finally officially meet you."
"The feelings mutual." I grinned.
Daisy had brown, curly hair and bright green eyes. She had tan skin and freckles. She was average height and had an athletic build.
"I've been dating your brother for a little over six months and I never got that chance to talk to you," Daisy told me and I chuckled.
"Well, I do spend a lot of time with my friends and boyfriend and you do spend a lot of time with Daniel," I explained and she nodded her head in agreement.
"That's true, but Daniel and I have been talking about moving in with each other but we haven't made any plans," Daisy informed and I gasped quietly.
"Really? You don't think you guys are moving to fast?" I questioned her and she shrugged.
"I love your brother and we get along so well. Also, my parents want me to move out soon." She told me. "I'm 21 and still live with them."
"I definitely wouldn't mind if you moved in, but I feel like it would be weird having Daniel's little sister around," I admitted and she waved me off.
"You shouldn't feel that way. We won't make you feel weird or left out." Daisy assured me, rubbing my shoulder.
"Thanks, but I don't want little Daniel's or Daisy's running around soon." I joked, giggling.
Daisy let out an airy laugh. "No worries. That won't happen soon."
Daisy is so fun and sweet. I'm glad Daniel found a great girl like her.
----
Not much time had passed until Max texted me saying that Barb and Hank were leaving for Metroburg.
Max, Nora, Billy, and I followed Hank and Barb to the driveway. Barb was in pain and her belly had gotten bigger and looked like it was about to burst.
"Wow, having a baby looks really uncomfortable," Billy mentioned.
"I know, the big belly, the swollen feet," Nora added on.
"Yeah, and mom doesn't look too good either." Max agreed and I smiled in amusement.
"Oh, hey dad! If you have time in the hospital, maybe you can build my new dollhouse?" Nora suggested, setting down the box she was carrying.
Barb had another power surge and electrified the box. The four of us moved back, startled by the electricity.
Barb sighed. "Hank, my power surges are getting stronger."
"Okay, it's fine, just if it happens again make sure you don't hit the-"
Right on cue, Barb electrified the Thundervan, startling all of us. Max wrapped his arm around my waist, holding me back.
Hank looked inside the Van to check the damage.
'System down. Estimated repair time: Two Hours'
Barb started to panic. "Oh no! Hank, what do we do?!"
"Okay, honey, it's fine, don't panic. Just, uh, I'll fly you to the hospital myself." Hank assured her.
"We can't! What if we have the baby midair?" Barb asked, and pointing to Billy behind her hand. "Remember what happened the last time?"
"Oh," Hank muttered.
"Why are you pointing at me?" Billy asked concerned. "What happened last time?!"
I leaned closer to Max and whispered. "Did they really have-"
He nodded. "Yeah."
"Oh no!" Barb exclaimed and held her belly in pain. "It's time!"
"No! No, it's not!" Hank denied with anxiety.
"Yes, it is!" Barb breathed out in agony.
"No, no, it's not! It can't be! You're gonna have to hold it in!" Hank told her.
"Hold it in?! I can't hold it in!" Barb exclaimed, walking toward the house.
"You-you can't have a superhero baby at a non-superhero hospital!" Hank mentioned as we followed her.
"I know! I guess we'll just have to have it here at the house!" Barb suggested, walking inside.
"Who's going to deliver it?!" Hank asked frantically.
"You are!" Barb said before entering.
"I am?!" Hank ran inside, leaving us four alone.
"What happened last time?!" Billy called out.
Oh boy, this day just got a whole lot crazier.
----
Hank and Barb went upstairs and it was not a pretty sight or sound to witness. Barb was screaming in pain and was shooting electricity every few seconds.
This makes me wonder if my birth was this crazy. Did my mom have trouble? Was I a normal birth? Was she even a superhero or was she was a villain? These are some unknown questions that I want to find out about.
My thoughts got interrupted by a scream and the sound of electricity.
"These are not how babies are born in the nature movies at school," Nora commented with fear. I gently grabbed their shoulders to assure them they would be okay.
"The miracle of birth is horrifying!" Billy exclaimed.
"Billy! Nora!" Hank ran over with a list. "I need you to super speed to the baby store to buy everything on this list! Diapers, baby wipes, formulas, earplugs."
"Why do you need earplugs?" I asked.
"HANK!" Barb screamed and I got my answer.
"Nevermind I got my answer." I shook my head.
"Alright, here's some money and no pitstops along the way," Hank informed his kids heading them some cash and they ran out of the house.
"Now Lindsey and Phoebe-" Hank stopped when he realized Phoebe was missing. "Where's Phoebe?"
"She went on a date." I blurted out and heard Max come up behind me
"A date?" Hank asked.
"I know, poor guy." Max sighed and I whacked his toned chest.
"Lindsey, you call her and get her back right away!" Hank order and placed his hands on our shoulders. "We are in labor."
"WE HANK?!" Barb screamed.
All of us looked upstairs.
"Uh- you Barb, you." Hank chuckled nervously. "You're my queen."
"Wow, pregnancy is making mom cranky." Max scoffed.
"Hey, she is still your sweet mom," Hank told us.
A flash of electricity flickered upstairs.
"GET UP HERE, HANK!"
Us three slowly looked at each other in fear. Max handed Hank the helmet in case there is an 'accident' and Hank needs it before he headed upstairs.
I quickly called Phoebe to inform her about the baby and she told me she would be coming.
----
An hour had passed and it consisted of screaming, electricity, Hank getting thrown around like a doll.
It was scary yet humorous slight to witness.
Max isn't a protector of any sort but he kept his arms around me the whole time. I didn't mind it one bit.
The door suddenly opened and Phoebe walked in.
"Hey, how's mom?"
"No baby yet," I told her.
"Oh, dad's mad at you for leaving," Max added.
"Perfect, Cherry's mad at me too. Can't win." Phoebe smiled, sarcastically.
"Hey, this will cheer you up." Max pointed and right on cue, we heard Barb grunt and the upstairs area lit up.
Hank fell down the flight of stairs and ended up at the bottom. He looked dazed and weary.
Max laughed. "It gets funnier every time!" Max let me go and grabbed Hank. "Alright, dad! You're looking good! Shake it off! You got this! Now, show that baby who's boss when mom's not home!"
Max pushed Hank upstairs and he ran back up
"How long has the been going on?" Phoebe asked with worry.
"Eh, about an hour." I shrugged.
Barb let out a scream and Hank flew across the room and hit the wall. Max wrapped me in his arms as we moved back.
Hank looked up completely out of it.
"Hey look, it's Feefee, Fax, and Flimsy." Hank pointed.
"Uh, oh," Phoebe said. "Dad's broken. We don't know how to deliver a baby, what do we do?"
"Well, first, we're gonna take a picture," Max said and took a photo of a drunk looking Hank.
"Hey." Hank smiled.
Another electricity blast occurred, getting our full attention.
"And we're gonna find someone with tons of medical experience," Max added and the twin looked at me with grins.
I scoffed. "Look, I have delivered babies before but not this."
Right then, electricity got blasted.
"You've told me you've delivered triplets," Phoebe told me.
"I have but I wasn't getting blasted around every few seconds," I argued. "Find someone else."
"Wait, I know just the guy," Max said.
----
"So, you won't let me pick up a trophy but delivering a bay? That's okay?" Colosso asked us.
"Dr. Colosso, please we're begging you." Max pleaded.
"Our mom's having the baby right now," Phoebe added.
"Okay, okay, I'll do it. Now boil water, get me some towels, and tie back my whiskers." Colosso ordered. "Let's Mambo!"
After an hour of screaming and Barb basically electrifying the entire house. That sound was replaced with a sound of a baby crying.
Hank came down to get us and we went up to their bedroom. Max and I went up hand in hand.
"Phoebe, Max, meet your new baby sister," Hank told us and we all smiled. "Wanna see, Lindsey?
We walked up to Barb who was holding an adorable baby girl in her arms.
"Chloe Thunderman," Barb said.
"Told you it would be a girl." Phoebe bragged.
"Still making her evil," Max said and I rolled my eyes, smiling.
The three of us leaned closer to get a better look and Chloe giggled.
"Kids, superheroes need a 12-hour recharge nap after giving birth so let's give your mom some privacy," Hank informed us we moved away from Barb and Hank took Chloe from her arms.
"Oh, it's okay Hank, I don't think I'll need to-uh" Barb didn't get to finish due to the fact she fell asleep.
The twins and I left the room after that.
----
I went home sometime after that because my brother texted me saying he wanted me home.
I walked into my house and saw Daisy was still sitting on the couch.
"Oh, hey Daisy." I greeted. "You're still here?"
She nodded with a friendly smile. "Yeah, Daniel wanted me to talk to you about a few things."
"Okay, but where is my brother? I haven't seen him since this morning." I asked her, folding my arms over my chest.
"Oh, he had a few errands to run, no big deal." She waved me off and I knew she was lying. I can feel it with my empathy power.
"Care to tell?" I asked.
"Listen, can we just sit and talk about something real quick?" Daisy suggested, patting the couch.
I shook my head, backing up. "No, not until you tell me where my brother is."
Daisy stood up and got a serious look on her face.
"I will but not until you admit you're Echo Girl."
My eyes went wide in fear and shock.
She knows I'm Echo Girl
"Echo Girl? Who is that?" I asked, lying straight through my teeth.
"Don't play dumb, you're Echo Girl," Daisy smirked, as she walked closer to me as I backed away from her. "How do I know? Because I'm a Super Villian who was sent to take you out."
"You've been lying to my brother this whole time? For six months?" I asked her, raising my voice out of anger. "Where is he?!"
"Oh, don't worry, he's fine." She chuckled and I glared at her. "Until dump his pathetic butt."
"How dare you?! You will pay!" I exclaimed and she just gave me a sweet fake smile. "Who are you anyway?"
"I'm the Dream Destroyer. I have the power to manipulate dreams and turn them into nightmares." She informed me and I snickered.
"That's a lame power."
She sent me a glare. "Not all of us were born with powers like you."
I shrugged and went back to the topic at hand. "Now what do you want with me?"
"To get close to you and your family so I can manipulate you and figure out your weaknesses." Daisy began and I stayed silent. "And to be able to track your mother."
My ears perked up and I was paying full attention to her.
"My mother?" I said almost in shock.
"Oh, that's right, you never really met her," Daisy said with a fake pout. She giggled. "Yes, your mother was a superhero until I defeated her."
Anger boiled up inside me and I blasted Daisy with my ice manipulation, freezing her entire body.
I ran upstairs and grabbed my super suit before I left for the Thundermans house.
I went through the back way because I saw Cherry and didn't want her to see me.
"Phoebe!" I called and ran up to her.
"Lindsey! I'm so glad you're here! Max is in trouble!" Phoebe told me with a bit of relief and panic in her voice.
"I ran into- Wait, what?!" I cut myself off when I realized what she said.
"Come on! I need your help!" Phoebe begged and I didn't respond and followed her to the Thunder Van.
We both got inside the Thunder Van and buckled up.
"Thunder Van! Hyperspeed to Metroburg!" Phoebe ordered the Van.
"Hyperspeed repair incomplete." The Van informed.
"Find any speed just go!" Phoebe spoke with agony.
"Igniting." The van said and it began to drive.
Outside of the passenger window, we saw Cherry walk out with Chloe in her arms. I didn't bother asking why she was here because I had too much on my mind.
"Phoebe," I said and turned to her.
"Thunder Van stop!" Phoebe exclaimed and the Van came to a stop.
I knew what she was doing.
I opened the door for Cherry.
"Lindsey?" Cherry said with confusion.
"Get in Cherry. It's time we tell you everything." Phoebe confessed and Cherry climbed in. She placed Chloe in the baby seat and sat down next to it in the back.
"Baby secure." The Thunder Van announced before it started to drive.
"Uh, how is this van driving itself?" Cherry asked, confused.
Phoebe and I shared a look before she spoke.
"Cherry, have you ever heard of Thunderman?"
----
"Well, Cherry, that's the whole story," Phoebe concluded.
Phoebe and I just told Cherry everything about us. It was risky but it was worth it.
"So, you're saying that you, your family, and Lindsey are superheroes, your brother has a talking rabbit, and the both of you are going to Metroburg to save him from villains?" Cherry asked us to clarify what we just told her.
"Yeah." I nodded. "It feels so good to finally tell you everything."
"Do you think I'm stupid?!" She exclaimed.
That's a matter of opinion.
"What? No?" Phoebe denied.
"No, of course not." I added.
"So, you're dad's name is Thunderman Thundermen?" Cherry pronounced. "The both of you sound ridiculous."
"No, we swear it's true," Phoebe told her and I nodded but Cherry didn't believe us.
"Arriving at destination." The Van said as it slowed down.
"And we'll prove it once we go save my boyfriend from villains," I told Cherry as I handed Phoebe her super suit.
"Watch Chloe and stay in the van no matter what," Phoebe ordered Cherry, seriously.
Both of us opened our doors and hopped out.
"Villians? Stay in the van? Lies! Got it!" Cherry exclaimed angrily before we shut our doors.
Phoebe and I got dressed in our superhero suits and we tumbled our way into the villain legs headquarters. Phoebe did front walkovers as her entrance and I did side aerials.
The both of us landed and went back to back. We stood in a fighting stance ready to take on any villains.
We both stood up straight when we noticed no villians were present.
"Wait, where are the bad guys?" Phoebe asked and I shrugged.
"That entrance would've been so epic if a villian was here." I mentioned a little annoyed.
"Phoebe! Lindsey!"
Phoebe and I turned around to see Max and Colosso were dangling above a pit of what seemed to be hungry hermit crabs.
"Never thought I'd be happy to see them." Colosso mentioned and I ignored him.
"You turned Colosso human?" Phoebe asked Max in disbelief. "Oh, you are so dead when you get him.
"Dead in about five minutes of you don't get us down from here." Max exclaimed frantically.
The boys screamed in terror.
"Hurry!" Max yelled.
Before we could do anything, a man with a crab claw walked down the steps, clpping slowly. It was King Crab.
Phoebe and I stood in a fighting stance.
"Bravo, Thunderman's daughter I presume?" He questioned and spotted. "And the new superhero Echo Girl."
"Yeah, why don't you take them and let me go?" Colosso suggested.
"Colosso!" Max exclaimed.
"Sorry, I mean let us go." Colosso corrected.
"Not a chance. Now that I have the four of you here, it's going to be quite a party." King Crab said.
"Yeah, it's going to be a real blast." Phoebe mentioned and shot her telekientic waves at him but he moved and it ended up knocking a poster down in the back.
"Hey, that's Graple Girl, show some respect." He protested.
"She was my date to evil prom." Colosso mentioned.
"I wanna go to evil prom." Max complained. "Phoebe, Lindy, take him down!"
I attacked him with my ice manipluation but he blocked it and Phoebe used her heat breath on him but he blocked it.
"Your powers are impressive but their no match for this handsome abnormality." He smirked, tapping his claw together.
"Oh yeah, well what about this power?" Phoebe questioned and nudged me. "Show'em Echo Girl."
I knew what she was talking about and I gulped.
"Uh, see ya!" I ran toward the hermit crab trap and Phoebe followed.
"Run if you like, but you'll never escape the long arm claw!" King Crab laughed, standing on the other side of the trap."
"Linds, why didn't you use your sonic scream?" Phoebe whispered to me.
"I-I don't know." I shrugged, lying.
"Linds, your sonic scream will definitly get rid of him. You have to use it." Phoebe informed me and I shook my head.
"I can't." I denied.
"Lindsey."
"I can't!" I replied, bitterly.
I ran out from behind the trap and started to attack him straight on. Phoebe came out from behind and climbed some boxes to the huge fan that was there.
I threw a few punches at King Crab but it didn't do much. I ran up the steps and did a front flip off.
"My girlfriend is smoking hot." I heard Max say but I ignored him and joined Phoebe at the huge fan.
"Well, that was really dumb, now the both of you have no where to go." King Crab slowy approached us with a sinister grin.
I spotted the grappling hook at the other side.
"Don't we?" I smirked and whispered to Phoebe. "Get the grappling hook."
She nodded and used her telekinesis to bring the grappling hook to us. Phoebe used it to swing herself across the place and knocked down King Crab and landed perfectly on the ground. I hopped down from the boxes and glanced at Max and Colosso
Phoebe and I shared a look before she moved them with her telekinesis and I used my ice manipulation to break them free.
I went up to Phoebe and we fist bumped.
"Nice going, Pheobs," I said with a grin and she returned.
"Phoebe. Lindsey."
We both turned around to find Cherry with Chloe. Except for the fact that Chloe had grown a few more sizes.
"You two weren't lying," Cherry said with shock and looked at Chloe. "I take back everything I said about Lindsey and your sister."
"Cherry, take the baby and hide it's dangerous!" Phoebe warned her.
Suddenly I felt myself get grabbed along with Phoebe and we got swung around by King Crab. We both struggled to break free but nothing worked.
We struggled for about a minute until I had enough.
"That's it!"
I elbowed King Crab which caused him to let go and Phoebe flipped him over onto his back.
"You're about to become a flying fish!" Phoebe threatened and he rolled to his feet.
"I'm not a fish." King Crab declared. "-On my mother's side."
(He said something else but I had no clue what it was)
King Crab grabbed something from a box and walked toward us with it charged.
"Say goodbye, Thunder and Echo Girls." He smirked about to blast us. He pulled the trigger but Max hit him causing the blast to almost miss but Phoebe and I had to dodge it still.
Max and King Crab started to fight over to the device.
"Let it go!" Max exclaimed.
"No, you let it go." King Crab argued.
"Girls, fry him with your heat breath or fire manipulation." Max called.
"I can't it might hit you." I cried.
"I can't." Phoebe agreed before she turned to Coloos who was a bunny again. "Colosso, tell us everything you know about that crab claw."
"It's indestructible, has an unbreakable kung fu grip. Oh, and he loves popping bubble wrap with it!" Colosso informed us and I became confused.
"Bubble wrap? How is that supposed to help us-"
"Wait!" Phoebe cut me off. "Cherry."
Cherry popped out with fear written across her face.
"Uhhh."
"I need you to tickle, Chloe, now!" Phoebe ordered, sternly.
"What? Uh- okay." Cherry nervously tickled Chloe and moments later bubbles appeared from Chloe's hand.
The bubbles floated over to Max and King Crab.
"Bubbles!" KIng Crab exclaimed and stopped fighting Max. He let him go and started to pop the bubbles happily.
"Time to burst your bubble." Max said and King Crab sighed.
"Oh no."
Max blasted King Crab and he got knocked down to the floor.
Phoebe and I smiled at Max.
"Oh, I am so keeping this." Max declared with a happy grin.
Max ran over to us and I used my ice manipulation to free him of the ankle bracelet that disabled his powers.
"Thanks, let's get out of here." Max told us and opened the automatic door with his telekinesis. "Come on, Colosso!"
"Right behind ya." Coloss said.
"You guys were amazing!" Cherry prasied and I smiled softly at her.
"You two brought, Cherry?!" Max asked in shock. "Oh, Phoebe, you're so dead when we get home."
Suddenly we heard an alarm blare.
"Seal the exit! I need every available villain to the hall of villains now!" King Crab announced and the door at the top of the stairs opened.
"Run!" I exclaimed and we all sprinted towards the exit. Max slid through the exit.
"Wait for me!" Colosso called.
"I gotcha buddy!" Max exclaimed and tried to use his telekinesis but it failed. "NOOO!"
The door shut with Colosso trapped inside.
"Girls, Colosso still in there." Max told us, frantically.
"Max, you can't! It's too dangerous!" Phoebe warned. "You'll just have to let him go."
"Phoebe, we have to do something." I protested.
Suddenly, the ground rumbled and we saw Hank had flew down to save the day.
"Kids."
"Dad! How'd you find us?" Phoebe asked as we went up to him.
"I followed the Thunder Van's homing system. We'll deal with why you're in Metroburg later, right now I'm just happy you're okay." Hank smiled with relief until he noticed Cherry. "And.... Cherry!"
Chery gave him a huge smile. "Hi Thunderman Thundermen."
"Sorry, dad, she's one of my besties" Phoebe confessed, sheepishly.
"I had nothing to do with it." I spoke.
"Lindsey, there was a villian at your house. The Dream Destroyer." Hank informed. "Don't worry, I took her frozen body to jail."
"Yeah, she tricked my brother and I and has been tracking me for six months." I explained and shrugged. "How great is that?"
"She didn't hurt you, did she?" Phoebe asked me and I shook my head.
"Not physically." I denied and Phoebe gave me a confused look.
She hurt me mentally though.
"Dad, Colosso's in there about to bunny bashed by villians!" Max exclaimed with panic to his father.
"I'll get you a hamster. Let's go." Hank started to walk away from Max stopped him.
"Dad!" Max cried. "Colosso is more than just my pet, he's my best friend."
Hank sighed. "Ugh, you kids and your best friends. Fine, I'll go save him."
0The password is-"
Hank cut us all off by breaking down the wall instead.
"Or that." I shrugged.
"Thunderman, well, you've really let yourself go." King Crab told him and Hank attacked him.
As they were fighting, Cherry got out attention.
"I'm sorry I didn"t believe you guys." Cherry apoligized.
"No, I'm sorry. Lying is never the answer." Phoebe told her. "And Linds feel the same."
"I do and I'm sorry." I told. "By the way, you have to lie to everyone about our superpowers!"
"Done." Cherry declared and the three of us hugged.
We pulled away and we turned to find Hank was holding Colosso.
"Colosso, you're alright!" Max smiled with relief.
"I am, thanks to your dad." Colosso said
"Hero League, I've got some trash that needs to be picked up at the old broccoli factory." Hank reported. "Oh no, not actually trash I'm trying to sound cool."
Max and I smiled at each other and he wrapped his arm around my shoulder. I kissed his cheek and leaned my head against his chest.
Cherry suddenly gasped and I looked at her. She had a jetpack on.
"Who would throw out this awesome backpack? Look, it has a button!" Cherry exclaimed and pressed the button. She shot up to the sky, screaming in fear.
"Well, that takes care of that problem." Hank stated.
"Dad!" Phoebe complained as we gave him looks
"Kidding." Hank said. "Thunderman Awayyyyyy!"
Hank flew into the sky with a yelling Colosso in his arms.
