(Gaoling)

Third person perspective

Back in Gaoling Commander Guan has Prince Wu as his prisoner.

He has the Prince strapped down to a chair with Mako and Bolin either side of him.

Wu struggles and tries to get free.

Doctor: Everything is ready, Commander.

Guan: Then you may begin, Doctor.

The brainwashing begins.

(Zaofu)

Y/N's P.O.V

After a long flight we've made it to Zaofu.

The airship lands and the ramp lowers.

We all leave the airship along with the brainwashed Asami.

Suyin: Boys, take your sister to her room and call the medic.

Opal: I'll be fine, mum. I just wanna get Bolin back.

Y/N: We'll get him back, Opal. Don't worry.

Suyin: Korra, take Asami inside.

Korra: Alright.

Suyin: Come on, Kuvira. You're going to have to face it sooner or later.

We all head inside.

(Ten minutes later)

All of us are now walking through the hall.

Korra, Kuvira and I walk with Su.

Suyin: We're going to get you settled in a room, Asami. But you'll be confined to the residence, the same as Kuvira... and my son.

Su goes to a door and opens it.

Asami: Which is just another way of saying I'm being imprisoned.

Suyin: No, but you will be watched, for your own safety. And ours.

Korra let's Asami out and we put her into the bedroom.

Korra: We're going to find a way to help you, Asami. I promise.

She then closes the door.

I look to Su.

Y/N: So, Baatar's here?

Suyin: He is. And he's... well, he's not going to be happy to see...

Y/N: Yeah, I gathered.

???: I never thought you'd have the courage to return home.

We all look over to see Baatar Jr.

Baatar: Hello, Kuvira.

Kuvira: I... I didn't know if I'd ever see you again.

Baatar: And you wouldn't have if Korra, Y/N and their friends hadn't saved me.

Kuvira: I feel terrible about what happened, but you remember all the pressure we were under. I'm sure had you been in my position you would've...

Baatar: Tried to kill my fiancée with a blast of Spirit energy?! Never!

He sighs.

Baatar: I loved you, Kuvira. When mother told me you were coming, she mentioned that you were trying to change. I didn't believe her. I had to see it for myself....

He turns away from her.

Baatar: But you're exactly the same.

Kuvira: Baatar, wait. I need your help!

Baatar Jr goes into his room and slams the door.

After that Su takes Kuriva away

Korra immediately walk over to the door and bangs on it.

Korra: Baatar, it's Korra. I need to talk to you, it's urgent.

Nothing happens.

I then lean against the wall next to her.

Y/N: Well, that worked.

She sighs.

Korra: I understand why you don't want to help Kuvira, but I'm hoping you'll help me. The future of the Earth Kingdom depends on it.

Just then the door opens.

Baatar: Come in.

He let's Korra in and closes the door.

Y/N: Guess I'm not apart of this conversation.

(Twenty minutes later)

I'm now in the room that Su set up for Korra and I.

The door opens and I see Korra come in.

Korra: Hey, you.

Y/N: Hey. How'd it go with Baatar?

Korra: Honestly, I'm not sure. He's really mad at Kuvira.

Y/N: Can't say I blame him.

Korra: Same here.

She walk over and sits on the bed.

I then go over and kneel down infront of her.

Y/N: So... speaking of Kuvira.

She looks at me and tilts her head.

Korra: What'd you do, Y/N?

Y/N: Uh... well, when I was alone with Kuvira...

Korra: Y/N....

Y/N: I may have accidentally told her that you're pregnant.

Her eyes widen.

Korra: What?!

We both stand up.

Korra: You told her I'm pregnant?

Y/N: Uh, yes.

She hits my arm.

Y/N: Ah.

Korra: Y/N, why'd you do that?

Y/N: I... I didn't mean to. It just came out in the heat of the moment. Our friends were brainwashed and I was slightly angry. It just slipped out.

Korra: You're an idiot.

Y/N: We've known each other for over a decade and you're just figuring this out now?

She sighs.

Korra: Just tell me that she won't tell anyone.

Y/N: She won't. She already told me she won't.

Korra: Alright. Good.

Y/N: But Korra, people are gonna notice eventually. Why didn't we just tell everyone before?

Korra: You know why.

I put my hand on her stomach.

Y/N: Yeah, I do. You know, it's crazy to think that by the end of the year our baby will be in the world.

She smiles.

Korra: I know. It's really exciting.

Y/N: And really weird. We're having baby.

Korra: It is weird that we're having a kid, but it feels right.

Y/N: Yeah, I does.

I lean in and we kiss.

Right now we can't enjoy this too much.

Our friends are still brainwashed and we still need to help them.
