Y/N's P.O.V

So, bringing Kuvira in to stop Guan didn't go to plan.

Instead of talking she attacked Guan, but Asami knocked her out.

Guan is also now a candidate for the Governor of Gaoling.

The other's and I are back on the airship with Kuvira in the cage Asami brought for her.

Kuvira starts to come to.

Kuvira: What... what happened?

She looks around before looking at us.

Kuvira: What am I doing in here?

Asami: Cooling off.

Korra: I locked you up so you don't try something stupid again.

Y/N: Yeah, like provoking an army.

Kuvira: And Commander Guan? Where is he now?

Y/N: Probably printing out some campaign posters. You were right about him being a good strategist.

Korra: Instead of conquering the states militarily, he's planning to take over politically.

Kuvira: Is that so?

Mako looks to Wu.

Mako: I say you call off the vote, at least for now. Make it impossible for him to win.

Wu: Mako, you know I love you, but I'm trying to encourage democracy. I can't just go around cancelling elections because I don't like one of the candidates. We need to let this play out.

Y/N: I never thought I'd say this, but Wu's right.

Asami: So, we just sit back and hope one of the other candidates wins?

Korra: I wouldn't hold my breath. They're not exactly what I'd call "inspiring."

Y/N: She's right. We might be screwed.

Kuvira: If you want to defeat Guan, you have to beat him at his own game. Find a candidate to run against him, someone popular enough to win.

Asami: That's actually not a bad idea.

Wu: But there's only one week to go until the election. Who are we gonna find on such short notice?

Korra's eyes widen.

Korra: I know the perfect person! Toph. She's a legend. Everyone loves her.

Y/N: That's a good idea, Korra. Plus, Gaoling is her hometown.

Korra: And we know that she hates the Earth Empire.

Y/N: It'd definitely bring a... unique governing style to the Earth Kingdom.

Wu: Sounds good to me.

Bolin steps forward.

Bolin: There's one little problem. Last time I saw Toph, she didn't seem too keen on getting involved with World affairs.

Korra: Then we'll just have to convince her.

(Twenty minutes later)

We're now outside the airship as Korra and Wu are going to see Toph.

Asami: I radioed Su and let her know we're bringing Kuvira to Zaofu for safekeeping until the election is over.

Y/N: She wasn't exactly happy about it though.

Korra: I figured she wouldn't be. But you don't have time to fly Kuvira back to Republic City.

The other's go back to the airship as I go over to Korra.

Y/N: I still don't like the idea of you going without me.

Korra: I know, but I'd feel alot better knowing you were here keeping the team together. And keeping an eye on Kuvira.

Y/N: Alright. If I don't hear from you in two days, I'm coming back to look for you.

She smiles.

Korra: Got it.

I hold her close and we kiss.

Korra: I love you, Y/N.

Y/N: Love you too, beautiful.

We go over to Naga and Korra gets on her.

I kneel down and pet her.

Y/N: Take care of 'em, Naga.

She licks my face.

After that I stand and look to Korra.

Y/N: Be careful.

Korra: I will.

She rides off on Naga with Prince Wu.

I then go back into the airship and join the other's.

When I get up there I see the other's talking.

Y/N: Hey, guys. We ready to go.

Mako: No. We have a problem, boss.

Y/N: What is it?

Bolin: There's a problem with the engines.

Y/N: Oh, great.

Asami: It's odd. They were working fine on the way here.

Kuvira: I think I might know why you're having engine trouble.

Asami: And how would you know that?

As they talk I feel something and I have a bad feeling.

Y/N: Guys, something's happening.

Mako: What do...?

Just then Earth Empire soldiers smash through the windows.

Kuvira: They're here!

I blast one with air before he can land down in the ship.

The other soldiers use Metalbending to attack us, so we dive out of the way.

Asami and I fight back-to-back.

Kuvira: Y/N, Asami, set me free!

Y/N: Not a chance!

Asami: We're not falling for that!

Kuvira: Quit being stubborn! I can help you.

As we fight metal cables wrap around us and they slam us all together.

After capturing us they surround us.

Asami: I have to hand it to you, Kuvira. Waiting to escape until after Korra left was a smart move.

Y/N: Yeah. And here's me thinking we had the easier job of getting you to Zaofu.

Kuvira: You fools, this wasn't my doing...

Just then the elevator opens and we see Commander Guan.

Kuvira: It was his.

He steps out with two soldier's either side of him.

Guan: Hello again, Kuvira.

This definitely isn't gonna end well.
