(Three weeks later)

Y/N's P.O.V

It's been three weeks since we defeated Tokuga and his crew.

Tokuga hasn't been seen since and things have been alot quieter.

Right now we're at the election night for Republic City and introducing the new President of Republic City.

I'm currently with Mako as Bolin comes over to us.

Mako: Hey. How's it going, partner?

Bolin: Oh, Beifong didn't tell you?

Mako: Tell me what?

Y/N: Tell him what?

Bolin: Mako, don't take this too hard but now that the triad situation is under control... I've decided to move on. I'm quitting the force.

Y/N: Really? Bolin, I thought you loved being a cop.

Mako: Yeah, I thought the same.

Bolin: Yes, it was thrilling while it lasted l but I can't be tied down. This little bird needs to fly.

Mako and I look to each other before looking back to him.

Mako: Okay, whatever.

Bolin: Brave, brave, Mako. Please don't make this any harder than it needs to be. What we had was a special partnership, but I'm afraid it's time we go our separate ways.

Y/N: Bolin, we're all apart of team Avatar. We'll see each other all the time.

Mako: And I'll see you at home in like two hours.

Bolin: I'll give you some time to process all this.

Mako sighs as Bolin walks away.

Third person perspective

While Y/N is with Mako, Korra is speaking with her father.

Tonraq: So, where's Y/N? How are you two doing? How's the wedding planning going?

Korra: Fine. We'll be getting married in two days, but I thought you didn't approve. I mean you did say we're too young for marriage.

Tonraq: About that... what I said when you and Y/N came to visit...

Korra: It's alright, dad. I know you don't approve, but Y/N and I are getting married. You don't have to be okay with it, but you're going to have to accept it.

Tonraq: Korra, please. I'm sorry for what I said. It was wrong. I just want you to know that I'm one hundred percent supportive of your marriage.

Korra: Really?

Tonraq: Yes. I just want you to be happy and I know Y/N makes you happy.

She smiles.

Korra: Thank you, dad.

Tonraq: And if you still want me to, I'd be honoured to give you away.

Korra: I'd love that, dad. That's all I want.

The father and daughter hug.

Y/N's P.O.V

I go over to Korra and see her with her dad.

Y/N: Hey, you two.

They look at me.

Korra: Hi, baby.

Korra comes over and I put my arm around her.

Tonraq: Hi, Y/N. I'd like to apologise to you as well. I'm sorry I wasn't supportive, but I want you to know I'm going to supportive you both. No matter what.

Y/N: It's okay, Tonraq. And thank you. It means alot to both of us.

I look up at the stage.

Y/N: Well, I gotta get backstage.

Korra: Why?

Y/N: Zhu-li needs me for something. You'll find out in a minute what it is.

Korra: Uh, okay.

I leave and go backstage.

Once I'm backstage the results are announced and Zhu-li is now the President of Republic City.

Zhu-li goes out and gives her speech about a bright future.

She then brings up the new Spirit portal.

Zhu-li: A new Spirit portal in the middle of downtown is not something any of us could've anticipated. But it's here to stay. And now that Wonyong Keum has generously donated his land to our city, sd need to plan for the portal's future.

She looks to the member's of the Air Nation.

Zhu-li: And thay is why, as my first act as President, I will bestow thr Spirit portal and the surrounding area to the Air Nation.

The crowd starts cheering and clapping.

Zhu-li: I will be will be working closely with the Air Nation and it's new leader to ensure the safety of the Spirit portal and the Spirit's living in the Spirit World.

I step closer to get ready to come out.

Zhu-li: And here to tell you more is the new leader of the Air Nation. Allow me to introduce Air Master Y/N of the Air Nation!

I step out as the crowd claps and cheers.

Y/N: Hello, everyone. I'd just like to start by congratulating Zhu-li of winning the election. You're going to make an excellent President, Zhu-li.

The crowd claps.

Y/N: Now, as many of you know myself, my father and my siblings were the only Airbender's for many years, but in the past three years the new Air Nation has grown so much. My grandfather, Avatar Aang would be blown away by what we've achieved. And I know he'd be proud of my father for leading the Air Nation for the past three years.

Dad smiles.

Y/N: But now it's my turn to lead. And it's not going to be easy, but nothing worth doing is. I want you all to know the Air Nation will continue to grow and change. I'm currently in talks with Chief Beifong and President Zhu-li will be joining us in these talks. We want to make Republic City safer for both it's people and the Spirits that live here. We're looking ahead to a bright future. A bright future for Republic City!

The crowd claps and cheers as I walk off stage.

I've got some explaining to do as Korra didn't know about any of this.

(Three days later)

So, today Korra and I are getting married on Air Temple Island.

I'm standing up front with Tahn, Mako and Bolin along with dad.

He's officiating the ceremony.

Tahn: You ready for this?

Y/N: Definitely.

A moment later everyone sits down as Korra walks down the Isle with Tonraq.

Korra stands with me.

We hold hands as dad officiates.

Korra and I say our vows etc.

Tenzin: Then by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride.

I pull Korra into a kiss and we kiss as everyone claps.

(Two hours later)

The after party is happening at Air Temple Island as well.

Korra and I have had our first dance. It was amazing.

As I talk with my parents, Tonraq comes over to us.

Tonraq: Hello. Can I borrow Y/N for a moment?

Pema: Yeah, of course.

Tenzin: Go ahead.

I walk off with Tonraq.

Tonraq: First of all, I want to say congratulations, Air Master Y/N.

Y/N: Thank you, Tonraq. It's just Y/N.

Tonraq: Well, Y/N I have something for you.

He pulls out a box and hands it to me.

I open the small box and see a necklace inside.

(A/N: Just imagine the necklace itself is blue and more Water Tribe-like.)

Y/N: Wow. This is great.

Tonraq: My father gave it to me on my eighteen birthday and I want you to have it.

Y/N: Tonraq, I can't accept this.

Tonraq: I want you to have it, Y/N. I want it to stay in the family and you are family. You're my son now.

I smile.

Y/N: Thank you. I really appreciate it.

He and I hug.

After that I go back ovet to Korra, my new wife.

I still can't believe we're married.

I've never been happier either. I'm glad I have Korra back in my life.
