Y/N's P.O.V

Lucky lands down on the front lines.

Korra and I get off and see that Kuvira isn't here yet.

We go over to Iroh.

Y/N: Iroh, we're here.

He turns to see us.

Iroh: Y/N, Korra, it's good to see you both. Thank you for joining us here.

Korra: Of course.

Y/N: Anytime, man.

Iroh: Kuvira will be here any minute.

We head up to the front.

Y/N: Kuvira's not here yet?

Iroh: No, but she will be soon.

The three of us standing with the rest of the United Forces and wait for Kuvira.

A moment later we see her Mecha-suit come around the corner along with her airships.

Her forces stop right infront of us.

Iroh: Wow. That thing is huge.

Y/N: Yep.

Iroh, Korra and I go into the tent and turn on the radio.

We overhear Raiko and Kuvira talking.

Just then we hear a blast outside.

Kuvira fired the Spirit weapon.

We go back outside to see smoke coming from the city.

Iroh brings out his hand-held radio.

Iroh: Mr. President, do I have your order to engage?

We hear Kuvira's voice.

Kuvira: You have three seconds or I wipe out your army.

Raiko: Stop. We surrender. Republic City is yours.

Kuvira: Good. Turn your army, Air Master Y/N and the Avatar to me and give Baatar your location. He'll present you with our terms.

Iroh smashes the radio.

Korra: We're not surrendering.

Y/N: Damn right.

Iroh: You two get back to the city before she sees you. I'll join you guys when I can.

Korra goes over to Lucky.

Y/N: Lucky, yip, yip.

He flies up and we head back to the city.

(Twenty minutes later)

Korra and I make it to Asami's workshop.

We walk inside to find the others there.

Korra: Raiko surrendered. It's down to us now.

Bolin: How are we supposed to fight an entire army and a mecha-giant and two of those crazy weapons?

Asami: We can't fight it, but maybe we can cripple it. Zhu-li, when you were spying on Kuvira, did you learn anything about that metal monster?

Zhu-li: I had no idea they were even building it.

Varrick: Guess Baatar Jr is a better inventor than I thought. Don't tell him I said that.

That gives me an idea.

Y/N: Wait, that's it. Baatar Jr built it, he'll know how to take it down. I say we capture him and get him to talk.

Korra: I agree. Let's do it.

Tenzin: Hmm.

I look to dad.

Y/N: I know it's a long shot, but it's the only chance we have and if we don't...

Tenzin: Y/N, I'm in.

Y/N: Okay.

Korra: So, what's your plan, babe?

Y/N: Well, we're gonna need a stealth team of Airbender's to get in and out of Baatar's airship unnoticed. Dad, Tahn, Bumi, Jinora, Kai, let's get moving.

They all nod.

Meelo: What about me?

I kneel down to his level.

Y/N: Sorry, little brother, but this mission counts on everyone being as silent as possible and your farts are just too much of a wild card.

Meelo: I can be quiet!

He then farts and gets embarrassed.

Meelo: Okay, point taken.

I ruffle his hair.

Y/N: I do have a job for you, Meelo. I need you to stay here and help keep everyone safe. Your in charge until we get back. Can I count on you?

He nods.

Meelo: Yes, sir! I got this.

Y/N: I thought so.

After that Korra and I leave with the other's.

(Five minutes later)

All of us are on Oogi and above Baatar's airship.

Korra: Is everyone ready?

Y/N: Alright, let's move in.

We all dive down and use our wings to glide down.

All of us land on the airship safely.

Korra goes over to a hatch and uses her Metalbending to break it open.

Y/N: Nice job, Korra. Kai, Jinora, you two stay out here and keep watch. The rest of you are with me.

They nod.

Korra, dad, Tahn, Bumi and I go into the airship.

We look around the corner.

Tahn: (Whispers) So far so good.

We then sneak through the hallways and find Baatar going into his quarters.

Korra rushes forward and uses Metalbending to break the door open.

Dad, Tahn Bumi and I rush inside and I slam Baatar against the glass.

After gagging him, Bumi puts a potato sack over him and we leave the room.

Once we get back outside we glide away with Baatar Jr.

It's time to get some information.

(Fifteen minutes later)

We're now back at Asami's workship and we have Baatar tied up.

I pull the gag out of his mouth.

Baatar Jr: You've made a terrible mistake. Once Kuvira finds out I'm missing, you're all done for.

Korra: That's why before she finds out, you're gonna tell us how to stop that mecha-giant, or else...

Baatar Jr: Or else what?

Korra tries threating him with the Avatar State, but it doesn't work.

After that Suyin tries talking to him, but he still won't tell us anything.

I then realise that we're going about this the wrong way.

Y/N: We're doing this wrong.

I step forward.

Y/N: You're right. None of us are gonna physically hurt you, but I can do something that'll be even more painful. I will take away the one thing you care for the most.... Kuvira.

Baatar Jr: What do you mean?

Y/N: Kuvira might win. She might chase us out of the city, but you won't be around to enjoy the victory. Because wherever I run, I'll take you. I'll make it my life's mission to never let you see Kuvira again. Is taking the city really worth losing Kuvira forever?

Baatar Jr: You can't.

Y/N: I will. Unless you convince Kuvira to back off. You two will still have the Earth Empire, just leave the United Republic alone.

We then give him a radio and put him through to Kuvira.

The two talk and he manages to convince her to leave Republic City.

Once that's done, we untie him.

Korra: As soon as we work out terms with Kuvira, we'll let you out of here.

Mako: Guys! She must have our location! She's pointing that weapon right at us.

Baatar Jr: No! She wouldn't!

Korra: Everyone, out! Now!

We run to the exit it as the building is hit by the blast.
