Y/N's P.O.V

Right now Korra, Asami and I are in a bit of a situation.

The three of us are in an airship being taken back to Ba Sing Se.

They've got Korra and I locked up tight, so we can't use our bending.

Y/N: Guys, we need to get out of this.

Asami: I have an idea. These airships that Cabbage Corp sold to the Earth Kingdom. Are way cheaper than the ones Future Industries built.

She pushes herself off the wall and breaks free. She then jumps over the pole.

Asami: That's just shoddy workmanship.

Y/N: Well, you get what you pay for, right?

She comes over to us.

Asami: There's no way I can get these locks off. I need the keys.

Asami prys off a panel on the floor.

Asami: Give me five minutes, then start yelling for help.

She drops down into the hole and escapes.

Korra: This is gonna be a long five minutes.

Y/N: Yep.

After waiting for a few minutes, I look at Korra.

Y/N: I'd say it's been five minutes.

Korra: Okay. Help! Come in here! Something happen to our friend!

The guard opens the shutter.

Guard: Where is she?

Just then he gets knocked out and Asami comes in with the keys.

She then gets us out.

Korra: Nice work.

Y/N: Yeah, thanks, Asami. That was not comfortable.

Korra: Now, let's take control of this airship.

We go to the cockpit and Korra kicks down the door.

The pilot comes at us, but Korra blasts him back with Airbending.

He hits the controls and that causes the airship to crash into the sand.

After barely surviving the crash, Korra, Asami and I climb out of the Airship and onto the roof.

Asami: Well, they say any landing you can walk away from is a good landing.

Korra: Given our location, I'm not so sure about that.

Y/N: Asami, you're the engineer. What do you think? Can you get her flying again?

Asami: It doesn't look good. I mean even if you and Korra Metalbend the propellers back into shape, we'd have to dig this whole thing out of the sand.

Just then we're joined by the crew.

Korra: Is everyone alright?

Kong: Like you care.

Crew #2: What the heck happened?

Kong: She said their friend needed help, then they knocked me out.

Korra: I'm sorry, but I couldn't let you take me to the Earth Queen as a captive. There are dangerous forces at work that you don't know anything about.

Kong: More dangerous than being stranded in the desert?

Captain: Don't worry, Kong. I radioed Ba Sing Se before we went down. We just need to sit tight. Someone will be here soon to rescue us.

Korra: I'm not waiting for that. We need to get out of here now.

As we talk Asami sees something in the distance. A creature moving under the sand.

Y/N: Okay, do you wanna help us get this ship moving or do you wanna wait around and meet that thing?

Kong: We wanna fix the ship, right Cap?

Captain: Hm. Let's get to work.

Korra: Everyone, stand back!

Korra and I use our Airbending to dig the ship out of the sand.

(Thirty minutes later)

The airship is almost ready to go.

I've just got the sand out of their and go outside with Kong.

Asami is working on the ship and sees us.

Asami: How's it looking in there?

Y/N: I just Airbent all the sand out of the engine room. I think it's clean.

Kong: It hasn't been that clean since it floated off the showroom floor.

Y/N: How's it going out here?

Asami: Well, she's still pretty banged up, but she might be able to limp out of the desert. Kong, you wanna see if you cab get the engine started?

Kong: Aye, aye.

He goes back into the airship.

As the airship powers up the creature from under the sand comes up and destroys the ship.

We barely get away before the creature goes under the sand again.

Korra: That's no spirit.

Y/N: Either way, I think it's gone for now. What's the plan now?

Asami: Maybe we can still build something to get us all out of here. We might have enough materials to build a makeshift sand-sailer. Like the Sandbenders use to get around.

Y/N: It sounds crazy, but it might just work.

Korra: Well, it's better than getting eaten by that thing.

Asami: All we'd need is a sail and some kind of sled to attach it to.

Korra: It's worth a try.

Captain: Gather every piece of metal you can find. We'll give that sandy beast a run for his money yet.

We start to work on building a sand-sailer.

(Twenty minutes later)

We've managed to build the sand-sailer and just in time too.

That sand creature is back.

Korra: Come on, let's move!

All of us get on the sand-sailer and Korra uses her Airbending to give us a push.

The creature is right behind us, but we manage to lose it briefly.

Just then the creature come up out of the sand and sends us into the air.

We fall back into it's mouth.

Y/N: Oh no, I'm not getting eaten today!

I close my eyes and activate the Spirit State.

I use Firebending to give us a boost and we shoot out of it's mouth.

Y/N: You guys, keep going! I'll keep it distracted and catch up to you when I can.

Korra: Y/N, no. You can't.

Y/N: I have to. I'll be okay, I promise.

I jump into the air and use my Airbending to keep myself up in the air.

I look around for the sand creature.

Y/N: Where are you?

I quickly turn and see it jump out of the sand behind me.

As it comes at me it opens it's mouth and I shoot fire straight into it's mouth.

The creature falls back into the sand and runs away.

I then come out of the Spirit State.

Y/N: Ha! Yeah, you didn't like that! That's right! Go home and cry to mamma, bitch!

I look around.

Y/N: Now, I gotta catch up to Korra and Asami.

I then spot the sand-sailer tracks.

Y/N: Just gotta follow the tracks.

I use my Airbending to fly and follow the tracks.

I just hope the Captain won't capture the girls again once they're safe.
