Y/N's P.O.V

Oogi lands back down on Air Temple Island and all of us jump down to the ground.

Chief Beifong, Jinora, Ikki and Meelo come over to us.

Dad kneels down and hugs the kids.

Tenzin: Thank goodness you're alright.

Meelo: We caught the bad guy's.

Tenzin: You let them fight. Do you realise what could've happened?

Lin: I would've been toast if it weren't for your kids. You should be proud. You taught them well.

Y/N: She's right. I would know.

He nods.

Lin: Go on. Be with your wife.

Dad rushes back into the temple.

Y/N: So what's going on?

Lin: Your mother went into labour just as the Equalist's showed up.

Korra: Pema's giving birth right now.

Y/N: I'll go.

Korra: Me too.

She and I go into the temple to check on everything.

When we get to the room we see dad, mum and the kids around my new baby brother.

I smile.

Dad looks up and sees us.

Tenzin: Y/N, come here. Come and meet your new little brother.

I smile and go over.

I look down at the baby.

Y/N: Hi, little guy.

Pema: Do you wanna hold him?

Y/N: Yeah, okay.

Dad passes me the baby boy.

Y/N: Hey there, Lil' Asskicker.

Everyone laughs.

Y/N: What? It's a good name, right?

I look to my parents.

Y/N: I'm joking. What's his name?

Tenzin: Rohan.

Y/N: That's great.

Just then Mako and Beifong come in.

Lin: I'm so sorry to interrupt, but more Airships are coming.

Ikki: Everything's not going to be fine, is it daddy?

Y/N: We better check it out.

Tenzin: Agreed.

I hand Rohan back to mum and go outside with the other's.

When we get out there we see two more Airships incoming.

Korra: What do you wanna do, Tenzin?

He sighs.

Tenzin: I need to protect my family and get them as far away from this conflict as possible. If Amon got his hands on my children... I hate to even think of it.

Lin: If you're leaving, then I'm going with you.

Tenzin: But...

Lin: No arguments. You and your family are the last Airbender's. There's no way in the world I'm letting Amon take your Bending away.

Tenzin: Thank you, Lin.

He looks to Korra and I.

Tenzin: Korra, Y/N, I want you to leave the island and hide for the time being.

Korra: We're not giving up.

Y/N: Damn right.

Tenzin: I'm not asking you to, I've sent word to Genral Iroh and the United Forces. They will be here soon. And once my family is safe, I will return. With the reinforcements we can turn the tide of this war.

Korra: What you're saying is we need to be patient.

He puts his hand on her shoulder.

Tenzin: You're learning well.

Y/N: I'm staying, dad.

He nods.

Tenzin: I know, son.

Dad then goes to get everything ready to leave.

After a few minutes everything is ready to go on the bison's.

Korra and I hug dad.

Tenzin: Stay safe, Korra.

Korra: I will.

Tenzin: Watch out for Y/N too. You know how reckless he can be sometimes.

Korra: I will, but he won't make it easy.

Dad smiles.

Tenzin: I know. That's why I'm asking you.

She smiles.

I go over to mum.

Pema: You be safe here, baby.

Y/N: I will, mum. I'll be fine.

Pema: I know. It's just my job to worry about you.

Y/N: I know. That's what makes you a great mum.

She smiles, then sighs.

Pema: I can't believe we're leaving this place. Do you remember your first day here?

I nod.

Y/N: Yeah. I tried to steal your purse.

We both laugh.

Y/N: I was a mean little shit back then, wasn't I?

Pema: You were tough that's for sure.

Y/N: No. I was selfish.

Pema: You were a survivor.

Y/N: But then I became better and that's because of you and dad. You took a little boy who was lost and alone, and you gave him a home. You gave him a family. I'll always be grateful for that. I love you, mum.

She pulls me into a hug.

Pema: I love you too, baby.

We pull away.

Y/N: Be safe and take care of Lil Asskicker.

She smiles.

Pema: I will.

After that I help her up onto Oogi. 

Lin: Tenzin, if we're leaving, we'd better do it now.

He jumps up on to Oogi and flies off with Lucky and the other bison.

The Equalist's Airships show up and get ready to attack.

Equalist's land on the island.

Guard: Go. We'll hold them off.

Korra gets on Naga's back.

Korra: Everybody, climb on.

We all get on Naga's back and leave.

Y/N: Time to go, Wolf.

Wolf jumps up and I hold him.

As we go through the mountains of the we see an Equalist chasing us.

Bolin: Mustache guy!

Before he can get us Naga jumps into air and hits him sending him flying.

Korra: Nice one, Naga.

After that we head to the dock and Naga jumps into the water.

Thankfully Korra uses Waterbending to create a bubble so we can breathe.

(Ten minutes later)

All of us are now on the outside of the sewer system and see that the Equalist's have taken over Air Temple Island.

I put my hand on Korra's shoulder.

Y/N: Korra, we need to get moving. We can't stay here.

Korra: You're right. Let's go.

We all head further into the sewer to stay hidden from the Equalist's.

I just hope General Iroh gets here soon. We really need some back-up. 

Third person perspective

Out in the middle of the sea the United Forces ships are heading towards Republic City.

General Iroh, the son of Fire Lord Izumi looks out into the distance when an officer shows up. 

Officer: General, I just received a wire from Air Master Y/N and the Avatar. They say Amon and his forces have gained control of the city. How do you want to respond?

Iroh: Tell them we will be arriving in three days time and that I look forward to winning back Republic City... together.

Officer: As you wish, General Iroh.

The United Forces continue forward to Republic City.
