Third person perspective

In the South Pole, Avatar Korra has just finished her Firebending test.

She rushes over to the White Lotus memebers watching on.

Korra: Hey, why all the doom and gloom, people?

She takes off her helmet.

Korra: We should he celebrating. Three elements down, one to go.

WL Memeber: You're getting ahead of yourself as usual, Korra. We haven't decided if you've passed your Firebending test yet.

WL Memeber #2: Ever since you were a little girl, you've excelled at the physical side of Bending, but completely ingoreed thr Spiritual side. The Avatar must master both.

Korra: I haven't ignored it. It just doesn't come as easy to me. But that's why I should start training with Tenzin immediately. He's Mr. Spiritual.

WL Memeber #2: Do you believe she's ready, Master Katara?

Katara: Yes. If anyone can teach her what she needs to learn, it's Tenzin. He and Y/N will be here in a couple of days.

Korra steps forward.

Korra: Y/N will be here too?

Katara smiles.

Katara: Yes, Korra.

WL Memeber #2: Very well, Korra. It's time for you to begin your Airbending training.

Korra jumps up in excitement.

Korra: Yes! Finally!

She sees the Master's looking at her.

Korra bows to them.

Korra: I mean... thank you all for believing in me.

After that she runs off.

She runs down to the pen and opens the gate.

Korra: Naga, you should've seen it.

Naga, the Polar bear-dog perks up and sees Korra.

She walks over to Korra.

Korra: I kicked some Firebender butt and I passed. Tenzin and Y/N will be here in a few days.

She smiles.

Korra: I haven't seen Y/N in five years. I can't wait to see him again.

(Three days later)

Y/N's P.O.V

Right now I'm on Lucky and we're close to the South Pole I can see it.

Dad flies alongside on his Bison, Oogi.

Y/N: Okay, Lucky. I'm gonna do the test now.

He groans.

Y/N: Oh, don't be like that. It'll work.

I look back to Wolf, who's laying on the saddle.

Y/N: Stay here, Wolf.

He barks.

Tenzin: Y/N, don't. You could really hurt yourself.

Y/N: Sorry, dad. Not listening, already doing.

I dive off Lucky and activate my glider suit wings.

It works for a few minutes, but I start to lose altitude.

Y/N: Oh, no. Not good. Not good!

I see where I need to land, but it's gonna be rough.

Y/N: Crap! Crap! Crap!

I use Airbending to slow down my decent and break my fall.

I hit the snow and roll across the ground.

Y/N: Ow.

I get up and wipe the snow off my body.

Y/N: Well, I walked away from the crash landing. So, I'm gonna count that as a win.

???: Still working on the glider suit, I see.

I look over and see gran gran, Katara.

I smile.

Y/N: Yeah.

I go over to her.

Y/N: Hi, gran gran.

Katara: Hello, Y/N.

She and I hug.

Katara: Oh, my sweet boy. You get taller every time I see you.

Y/N: Yeah, I know.

She wipes the snow out of my hair.

Katara: Look at you covered in snow.

Y/N: I know.

I look at the wings of my suit.

Y/N: I think it's back to the drawing board with this. I think I need to make the wings thinner.

Just then I look up and see Korra.

I smile.

Korra's P.O.V

I run outside as I know Y/N and Tenzin will be here soon.

When I get out there I see Y/N is already here with Katara.

How did he get even cuter over the past five years?

He sees me and smiles.

Y/N: Hey, Korra.

I feel my face go a little red.

Korra: Hi, Y/N.

I rush in and hug him.

Y/N's P.O.V

So, Korra has just tackled me into a hug.

I hug her back.

Korra: It's so good to see you again.

Y/N: You too, Korra.

We pull away.

Y/N: You look great.

She smiles.

Korra: Thanks. You too.

Just then I hear Ikki's voice.

We look up to see Oogi and Lucky fly down.

Both Bison land near us.

Tenzin: Yes, Ikki. As I've been telling you for the last fifteen minutes, we are finally here.

Jinora and Ikki come down on Air-scooters.

I go over to Oogi and help mum down.

She's very pregnant.

Y/N: Hey, mum. You okay?

I help her down.

Pema: I should be asking you that.

Y/N: Mum, I'm fine. I'm a big boy now.

She puts her hand on my cheek.

Pema: You're not when I look at you.

After that we all go inside for dinner.

(Several hours later)

Third person perspective

Tenzin, Y/N and the Airbending family have left the South Pole.

He's unable to stay and train Korra as he's needed in Republic City.

So, Korra is going to leave the South and follow him there.

Korra puts the saddle on Naga.

Katara: Nice night for an escape, isn't it?

She turns to see Katara there.

Korra: I have to leave. I have to find my own path as the Avatar.

Katara nods.

Katara: I know you do. Aang's time has passed. My brother and many of my friends are gone. It's time for you and your generation to take on the responsibility of keeping peace and balance in the world.

She steps forward.

Katara: And I think you're going to be a great Avatar.

The two hug.

Korra: Thank you.

They pull away.

Katara smirks.

Katara: I'm also sure finding your path as the Avatar isn't your only reason for going to Republic City.

Korra goes slightly red.

Korra: I... I don't know what you're talking about.

Katara: Come on, Korra. I was young once to, believe it or not. I see the way you look at him.

Korra smiles and nods.

The two hug again.

Katara: Goodbye, Korra.

After that Korra gets on Naga and leaves.

Her next stop, Republic City.
