(A.N. Okay please don't kill me for the super short chapter. I needed this in it briefly before continuing with Katherine and the Newsies. Next chapter is much longer to make up for this one. ❤)

"I gave you specific instructions to be cautious!!! How could you be so stupid and careless you idiots!" A furious voice boomed through the room.

"It wasn't my fault! Morris was behind me. He left the door open!" Oscar said.

Morris wacked his arm. "Hey I was in a hurry, how was I supposed to know it didn't close?!" Morris spat defensively.

"SILENCE!!!"

The brothers ceased arguing.

A man with white hair and a scar across his face whirled around to face his henchmen.

"I don't care who's fault it was, blaming each other won't get that pathetic cripple and that spoiled princess back in my grip. Actually, I only need the girl, the boy is useless. I was only toying with Kelly by hurting him."

"Why don't you just let us get Kelly and get rid of him permanently Snyder? He's been messing with our plans for years, him and those street rats." Morris said with a devious gleam. Oscar nodded vigorously in agreement.

"No, no one lays a hand on him till I give the say. Don't forget, I can make you both relive your worst nightmares for the rest of your lives. Besides, what's a villain without a hero to torment?" Snyder grinned.

"Well, how do you supposed we get that girl back? They ain't exactly in the most vulnerable place." Oscar questioned.

Snyder paced around the room for a few minutes.

"Ah! I've got it, but it'll take time for preparations. By the end of it, we'll have Kelly and those little rats of his running for their lives." He laughed maniacally before relaying his scheme.

(Short but you get the point. I couldn't fit this in, but this whole exchange takes place st the same time as the Newsies are explaining their powers to Katherine.)
