At Emma's house

We arrived at my house.

"Ok, I'm going to go and change into beach attire. Why don't you  sit in the living room and wait. My mom and dad are both at work so they're not here."

They nodded and went inside.

I went up to my room, searched my clothes and found a purple strapless top and a black shorts. I looked harder and found a pair of white sandals under my bed.

I walked downstairs and Laura said, " Emma, you look stunning...I bet all the boys are going to be falling for you."

"I don't know about that," I said smirking.

We left for Kate's house.

"Almost done," Kate shouted from upstairs.

"Hurry up," I called to her from in her living room.

"Hey, don't rush me. It takes a while to find the perfect outfit."

Kate came down the stairs with a surfboard.... I mean A SURFBOARD.. I don't even know where she got it.

"Umm, Kate where did you get that?" I asked, pointing to the colourful surfboard.

"I bought it last summer but never got to use it," she replied.

"Umm...can you even surf?" Laura asks with a worried expression on her face.

"Of course I can, I mean how hard can it be?"

We both looked at her.

"Plus, surfing totally attracts cute boys," she said smiling.

Typical Kate. Always boy crazy.

"I knew there would be a reason for this," I said while pinching her cheek.

"Hey that hurts," she said while rubbing her cheeks.

"Come on let's go," I chuckled.

At the beach
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

"Hey, I'm gonna go catch a wave," Kate said while running of.

"Ah, I'm going to work on my tan," Laura said while lying down on the blanket.

I sat down on one of the chairs that we set up in our little spot.  Just sitting under the shady umbrella.

Wow I didn't know Kate can surf.  That's what I was thinking while watching Kate surfing a wave.

"Wow she's killing it out there."

I was watching Kate do major tricks when my view was suddenly blocked by a figure standing in my way.

Umm, dude could you move out of the way.  Kinda watching my friend here.

"I'm sorry for bothering you, but I just couldn't help but notice how gorgeous you are," the stranger said.

I looked up and saw a guy, brown hair, blue eyes, perfectly tanned skin looking down at me.

Omg...he's hot...I take back what I thought earlier. I don't want you to move out of my view.
