For those of you who didn't get the notification—I updated chapter 8 of this story yesterday.  Writing it made realize a slightly uncomfortable truth...I don't know exactly where I'm going with this.

Before anyone panics, let me make something very clear now: I am NOT discontinuing this story!

It's probably my personal favorite of my stories to write (except for maybe my new oneshot series on ao3), but I have a couple of different ideas for how this story will play out.  Some things I'm certain of, but my view of how things will go in the long term is...kind of like double vision.  I have multiple different paths I could take, and I don't really know which path I should choose.

So, I would like to request for you all to help me out.  What do you want from this story?  Where do you want it to go?

The questions I have range from major plot points to minor details.  I tried to put the more important plot things first.

(If it would be more convenient for y'all for me to make a google form with these questions, let me know and I'll do that!)

Some of the main things I'm unsure about are the following:

-What side will Percy and Harry be fighting for, specifically in the HP universe?  I'm definitely leaning towards light or them sort of making their own side and working with/against both...mostly I think I've ruled out the idea of them working with Voldemort.

-Ideology wise, should it be dark!HP (this doesn't mean hating muggles), or should Harry believe almost wholeheartedly as the light believes (dark arts are evil, etc.)?  Or should he be more neutral/make his own side, working against/with both?  (I have Percy's character worked out already, and I'm not going to elaborate...)

-Related to the last one: how much should Harry agree with the side he fights for?  Like for example, if he agrees with most of the dark side's points but fights for the light because killing muggleborns is stupid, etc.? (Or if the twins make a third side, where on the spectrum between the sides do they fall?)

-Again, related, but this one can be skipped: I've read enough dark!HP or good!voldemort fics that I think I could do a good job if there's demand for a kind of voldie's-not-that-bad-a-guy kind of thing — but only with diary Voldemort, because I don't think this story is conducive for a not batshit insane grown-up Voldemort.  Let me know if you have any interest in hearing more about this idea.

-How much strain should there be on Harry and Percy's relationship as the series progresses?  What kind of major conflicts and differences should they have?

-How involved should the Weasley twins be in the plot?

-Will you all be terribly annoyed if Harry's barely in The Lightning Thief?  Like he won't disappear, obviously, there's still the mental link and stuff but the main story arc won't really have him in it?  I just want to make sure y'all aren't going to stop reading because of it bc if you are I gotta change my plans—

-Sally is awesome.  ...That wasn't a thing a for debate, just something I thought was worth saying.

-Similarly, Gabe is a jerk.

-Should Harry and Percy consider Snape their number one suspect for who's stealing the sorcerer's/philosopher's stone in this fic?

-Also, I was thinking of using Sorcerer's Stone and Philosopher's Stone interchangeably.  Is that okay, or would you guys prefer for me to just stick to one or have one as the main term?

-What ships should there be?  Romance won't be a factor for a long time yet but just thought I'd throw it out there for discussion.
