Lily started explaining what a child of the Phoenix was.

"A child of the Phoenix is very rare, and never fully dies unless it kills itself. It can be reborn over and over again, first to a family, second appearing at the exact place and age they died, third, and all the times after, hatching out of an egg. They can only be born to original Phoenixes. The only living Phoenix that is one of the originals is Fawkes, who currently belongs to Albus Dumbledore.

"A child of the Phoenix, more commonly known as a Phoenix child, can speak to all types of animals, and understand what they are saying back to them. However, if a Phoenix child dies, they are only born again when needed. If one commits suicide, than it will never be reborn again." She stopped talking.

"Well? Is there anything more?" I asked her. "Uh, nope. Sorry. Why were you so curious anyway?"

"NO REASON!" Wow. Way to be subtle, go me.

" ... Are you ok, Saph?" I realized that I had been scowling at thin air for the past two minutes.

"Yeah, sure. I'm gonna go see Dumbledore..."

"DumbleDORE!!!" I yelled through his door as I shoved it open. It flew out to the sides, hitting the walls with a bang. "We need to TALK!"

He sighed. "Dun dun dunnn. I knew you would ask Lily. Before you ask questions, know that I am working for, and not against, you."

"First of all, WHY THE BLOODY HECK IN MERLINS NAME DIDN'T YOU KNOW I WAS A PHOENIX CHILD?!?"

"When you talked to Fawkes, I thought it odd, but soon forgo-" As he spoke, a feather burst into flames in his office, right in front of his desk.

"I am sorry Ms. Potter, but you must leave. Good day." I stormed out of the office.

"Stupid Dumbledore, didn't tell me before, lied, hmph. AUGHGHGHGHHHGGHHHH!" I tripped on the stairs while going back to the common room.

"Well, milady, I suppose you are lucky I was here to catch you!" Remus chuckled quietly as he helped me stand up.

"What were you muttering about anyway?"

"Oh, it was nothing, really!" He seemed unconvinced.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, completely sure. Really Remus, I'm fine. Don't worry." He looked uneasy, but went up into his dormitory. I sighed, supposing it was rude to not say thank you.

"Oh, and Remus? Thanks for catching me." With an award winning smile, I walked up the stairs, only to be tackled be Lily.

"Did Remus just CATCH you when you fell? You guys are going to be such a cute couple!" Woah, slow down. My brain is still processing what you said.

"Lily, we aren't going to be a couple... We're just good friends! And yeah, he did catch me."
