Severus pov:

I met Lily in the park we started to become friends and one day her sister started calling me a freak. The week leading up to going to Hogwarts I walked around Diagon Alley when a girl with black hair collided into me.

"Sorry." The girl spoke with a welsh accent.

I replied, "It's ok." I got up and smiled at her as I reached a hand out to help her up. We walked to Flourish and Blotts to collect books then we went to get wands from Ollivanders where three boys stood in line.

We got our supplies, the boys started picking on me as the girl and I continued our shopping spree, and Lily decided to hex my new friend who blocked it easily.

My new friend shot two spells attacking Lily, I broke the fight, and Lily glared at my friend. Lily spoke angrily, "Sev is my friend!" My other friend dropped her stance but still held onto her new wand.

I spoke, "Lily, I can have more than one friend."

"I'm Eileen Lupin, it was kind of nice to meet you Lily..." My friend spoke as she placed her wand away.

I spoke again, "Eileen, let's go get the rest of our supplies. Lily, you can join us if you like but no more trying to hex my friends." Eileen grabbed my hand as we walked around the crowded streets of Diagon Alley.

Lily frowned, "How old are you Eileen?"

"Ten but I turn eleven in October." Eileen replied happily. The next day I got on the Hogwarts express, Eileen was sitting in an empty compartment, Lily sat with a group in another compartment, and I entered the compartment sitting across from Eileen...

Once at Hogsmead all the first years followed a giant to a set of boats that took us to a castle, Eileen got into my boat followed by Lily, once at the castle we got sorted into our houses, and after Eileen and I went to the library to further our knowledge of what kind magic we might learn.

We got in trouble for being there after hours and we went to our Slytherin common room laughing. "Thanks for studying with me Sev, but I'm sorry I got you in trouble." Eileen spoke turning to face me on the stairwell.

I smiled, "Anytime Eileen and it wasn't too much trouble; still early." Eileen giggled, she gave the brickwall the password, then we entered our common room, and we went to our dormitories in slience.

Malfoy asked when I entered the dorm room, "Where did you go off to?"

I shrugged, "Got a little lost in the castle." I went to go change into my pajamas and got ready for bed.

Malfoy spoke, "I just don't think it would be smart to date a girl whose brother happens to be in our rival's house."

I frowned, "I'm just friends with Eileen nothing more Lucius." Malfoy nodded with understanding. The next day was first day of potions class and I noticed most of the first year Slytherins were on one side of the class while Gryffindors were on the other side...

Eileen spoke getting my attention, "I can go sit with my brother if you want to sit with Lily."

I looked over at Lupin, "I don't mind being partners on the assignment." I took my seat and Eileen sat down beside me. The professor handed us our assignment back with an outstanding. After class we all went to lunch, I noticed both Lily glaring at Eileen more and more, and Elieen went to go sit next to Cissy.

I took my seat next to Lucius when I heard Cissy ask, "Eileen, how did you do on your charms assignment with the levitating charm?"

"I think I did well... My feather lifted off the table on the fourth try..." Eileen spoke nervously. Lucius interrupted their conversation to say something encouraging and I noticed the small emeralds fall into our house points as we continued to eat lunch.

"Looks like we're tied with Hufflepuff." I spoke only for Potter to throw a prank on a Slytherin student... Cissy, Bella, and Lucius were the most annoyed by the prank.

Lupin spoke from behind me, "James, you could've hit my sister with that dungbomb!" I grabbed Eileen's shoulder protectively and I silently calmed her down.
