Kim was not having a great week. Her parents had split apart due to the fact that they'd divorced and her father took her brothers with him. To make matters worse, her best friend: Ron had left the state since his family had to move.

Monique: "Oh come on, Kim. Don't feel bad. People most get divorced all the time. At least your parents didn't cause any real trouble at the end."

Kim: "Yeah, I know. I just never thought they would be on the list. [Everyone gathers around in the gym.] Anyway, what's happening here?"

Monique: "Oh right, you haven't heard. Today we're having a new student joining in this place. Says he's from New York or something."

Kim: "New York...? Hm, sounds familiar."

The principal comes in front of the students.

Principal: "Good morning, students. I hope you're having a wonderful day. Today we'll be having a new student joining in on our beloved school. Please, don't bring harm to this new student and welcome him. You can step in now, Mr. Parker."

As the principal said the name, Kim's eyes wide open in shock as she sees a young man with blonde hair stepping in the stage and greets everyone.

Kevin: "Hello, everyone. My name is Kevin Benjamin Parker and I just moved from New York to Middleton so I can start my new school life here. I hope we all get along."

Kim's Mind: (Kevin!? H-He's here! He came back!? B-but when! Ooh who cares! I'm just so happy he's finally back! I wonder if he remembers me? Of course he does. He wouldn't forget about his old friend. I wonder how he's doing over these past years? Well whatever it is, he certainly is different now. He's not wearing glasses or anything. Gotta admit, he's so hot without them on~! Wait, what did I say?! Calm down, Kim! Don't be weird.)

After introducing and being welcomed everyone in Middleton High School, Kevin comes across his old friend and smiles.

Kevin: "Hey, Kim."

Kim: [smiles] "Kevin!" [Hugs him]

Kevin: "Long time no see, eh? It has been a while. How are you?"

Kim: "I'm doing okay [Curls a frown look] for the most part anyway."

Kevin: "What do you mean?"

Kim: "Family stuff. That sort of thing. I'll explain later. When did you get back?"

Kevin: "Just yesterday. My aunt, brother and I came to an understanding that I keep my grades up and I get to stay here. My brother and aunt are still back at New York and they're doing okay by the way. So, where's Ron?"

Kim: "Well..."

After school was over for a day, Kevin is walking Kim back to her house.

Kevin: "Wow. I don't know what to say right now. I never thought your family were drifted apart and Ron to move away with his own folks. Damn. So, how are you and your mom doing?"

Kim: "We're getting by okay. [sighs] My mom just told me they split apart. I was completely shock when it happened. My dad moved away with my brothers to a new state. And then Ron left. I was feeling pretty down that day."

Kevin: "I'm so sorry to hear that, Kim. [Place a hand over Kim's shoulder.] And you don't need to feel down anymore. Besides, you still got your mom. And I'm here now and I'm gonna do whatever it takes to make your life go better than ever now. I promise you."

As he said that, Kim felt butterflies in her stomach and her heart pumping.

Kim's Mind: (Ooh Kevin~! How I missed you so much. Your kind, thoughtful and sweet voice that made me fall in love with you in the first time is now finally here to make me happy again. I hope I get the chance to confess to you soon~!)

Kevin: "Hey Kim, you feeling ok?"

Kim: "Uh, what? Uh, yeah! Thanks, Kevin. I really needed that and it's good to have you back."

Kevin: "Me too. It's great to be back."

Soon, they arrived at Kim's house.

Then, they reach to the front door and Kim knock on the door just in time for her mom to answer it.

Kim: "Hi Mom, I'm back from school."

Ann: "Hello, honey. Welcome back. [Meets Kevin] Hm, do I know you? You look awfully familiar?"

Kevin: "Hello, Mrs. Possible. It's me, Kevin. You know, the kid who's friends with your daughter and her best friend from elementary school?"

Ann: [gasps] "Kevin?!"

Kevin: "Yep, that's me!"

Ann: [Hugs Kevin tightly] "I can't believe it's you! My, look how you've grown. You're becoming a man already. How's your family doing?"

Kevin: "They're doing great. I just moved here from New York yesterday and begin my school life here. As long as I keep my grades up I can stay here as long as I want."

Ann: "Well, I'm glad you're back. It means things are looking up for this family."

Kevin: "Yeah, I heard Kim told me you two got divorced. I'm so sorry that happened to you."

Ann: "Aww, thank you. It's no big deal, anyway. Things just happened and we drifted apart. It's sad, yes, but we moved on. Besides, I kept taps on the boys every now and then, so it's not so bad."

Kevin: "Well, as long as it makes you feel good, then I'm happy for you."

Ann's Mind: (Wow. Kevin's back and he's really cute and thought. Wait, what is this feeling? Am I feeling...loved again? B-but I just broke things off with my husband and I'm already falling for a young boy. Well, to be perfectly honest, I always have a thing for young boys. I hope I get the chance to show him my body~!)

Kevin: "So, where are they anyway?"

Ann: "James and the boys are at DC."

Kevin: "And Ron?"

Kim: "Tokyo, Japan."

Kevin: "Damn, that far, huh? Well, at least they're safe and sound out there."

Ann: "Yeah. So, would you like to stay over for dinner? I made delicious steak with pork chops."

Kevin: "I appreciate the offer but I have to get home and finish unpacking back home. But may be some other time, ok?"

Kim: "See you tomorrow, Kevin."

Kevin: "Bye, Kim." [Leaves the house]

Ann: "See, honey? I told you things would get better in the end."

Kim: "Yeah. I'll miss dad and the little twerps and Ron the most. But I'm happy Kevin's finally here at least. So, not everything's that bad after all."

And so, the episode concludes after Kim and her mother get to the kitchen to eat some dinner for tonight and Kim's life is going to be better than ever now her old friend Kevin's here.
