Conner POV

I lifted up Lasanique skirt after I grabbed her thighs because her scream had got all of the guards attention. When I saw her fresh cuts it made me angry knowing that she would hurt herself. "Why would you ever hurt yourself princess" I asked her trying to keep calm. "WHY DO YOU EVEN CARE CONNER" she said while getting off of my lap.

I pulled her back down getting angry and accidentally squeezing her thighs so hard, the blood started oozing from her cuts and down her leg. "Aaaaahhhh" she started yelling and hissing in pain.

Lasanique POV

"Don't disrespect me, especially when I ask you a question" Conner said squeezing my legs harder and harder but before I could say anything I blacked out.

I woke up in a white room with bright lights which was hurting my eyes. Conner came in and handed me my medication for my broken ribs and then the doctor came and changed the bandages that was on my legs.

"She should be on bed rest" the doctor said. When he left Conner came and sat down on the bed beside me. "H-how d-did I black o-out" I asked hesitantly. "Blood loss" he said holding onto my hand.

When his hand landed on my cheek I flinched and a look of guilt came over his face. "I'm sorry princess for getting carried away with my anger, but why would you hurt yourself. If this is about what you saw in my office she meant nothing to me."

" I forgive you, but not everything is about you Conner. You and my parents were right I am nothing, I'm always going to be a nothing, I'm always going to be a nobody to everyone, and a waste of space on this earth." I said while holding back my tears.

"You mean everything to me but I can't show that because then you will get taken away from me" Conner said while leaning his forehead against mines. "I brought you because when your parents showed me a picture of you, I fell in love with you at that moment and I knew that you needed a better life and for someone to show you real true love."

After Conner said those words I was speechless, but I wasn't going to give in so easily because I would let my own guard down by being the naïve and gullible person that I am. All of a sudden Conner had took me out of the room that I where I was getting my bandages changed and took me to 'our' room.

Once he got to 'our' room he had laid me on the bed."If you need anything, I'll be here with you until I have more work to get done" he said in a deep husky voice. "O-okay" I stuttered because I was scared to be in a room with him for a long time.

Out of nowhere Conner lips landed on mines and he started kissing me deep and hungrily, but I showed no emotion nor did I kiss him back and I started trembling thinking about if he would hit me if I didn't kiss him back.

Then he left out the room without saying anything and I started to wonder was it because of me. I had noticed that my bandages needed changing and I need to take my medication, but I couldn't get out of bed.

Conner came back with  food, water, and my medicine. "Take off your clothes" he said while getting me some clothes to sleep in from out of the closet. I stood there uncomfortable and he seemed to notice so he told me that I could've changed in the bathroom after I took a shower, but he needed my pants off so that he could change my bandages.

Clothes worn to bed⬇️⬇️⬇️

I wore shorts to bed so that Conner could easily wrap the bandages around my thighs. After he finished I took my medicine, ate my food, and then laid down to go to bed.

As I went to sleep, I felt his arms wrap around me but not tight enough to hurt me. "Goodnight princess, I love you" Conner said as I finish drift off to sleep.
