Jay

I cant believe it! We were so stupid! My little wolf was in the vicinity all this time and i didnt even think about going to that place! Shit!

"What's up jay?" Will asked.
"I think i know where reanne is," i said, looking up from the fomputer screen.
"What? Where? How did you find?" He asked.
"My theory is that the rogues appeared to be getting together. Which they never do, right?" I asked.
"Yes right," will nodded.
"So that means i person is trying to get them to believe that being together is a good thing plus bribing them," i said.
"Ok that theory sounds good," he nodded.
"So basically if we find this person and kill him then everything will be allright again," i said, and a yawn escaped my mouth.
"I think your theory is best. Instead of focusing on many people all at once we should just focus on one person," will said.
"Yeah. And if we find this person; we find reanne as well," i said.
"Great. So who do you think will be under all this?" He asked.

I looked out of the window and thought about who would have wanted revenge. I mean it is possible that he would want some revenge from me. Or have some enmity with me. Other than that i dont know why anyone would kidnapp my little wolf.

My phone rang and looking at the caller ID i groaned. Why wont they leave me alone?

"Who is it?" Will asked.
"My biological family," i said.
"Pick up the call Jay. Talk to them. What's more invite them here," he said.
"What? Are you crazy? Why would i do that?" I looked at will.

Instead of answering me will picked up my phone and pressed the yes button. I glowered at him but nonetheless took the call.

"What?" I asked, my voice sounding gruff to my ears.
"Look Jay we know you are angry with us but we would like to amend things," andrea, i mean mom said.
"Look i have a lot of stuff on my plate right now and so i dont want to get anymore stressed ok?" I asked, hoping to cut the call already.

I felt will place a hand on my shoulder and looked at him.

"Invite them here," will mouthed to me.
"Fine. If you really want to come then you can come to my pack," i sighed.
"Thank you so much jay! You wont regret it i promise!" Andrea exclaimed.
"Yeah i hope so," i muttered.
"We'll tell you of our plan in a few days," she said.
"Yeah yeah," i said, and ended the call.

Before either of us could say anything the door opened and in came our pack warrior, Jared.

"Whats the news?" Will asked.
"We have found a trace in tge forest. We believe its the beta female's," Jared said.

I perked up at that and felt my heartbeat rise. We had traced my little wolf's scent! We'll find her!

"Where did you find it?" I asked, eagerly.
"In the deepest part of the forest. Where nobody goes," Jared said.
"Are you sure its her scent? And not somebody else's?" I asked.

I didnt want to get my hopes up and then have them deflated at the end.

"Yes i am positive," Jared said.
"Lets go," i said, standing up.
"I will come with you. We'll bring some warriors with us in case there's more than one person," will said, to which i nodded.

The three of us made our way out of the pack house.

"We have found trace of the beta female. We believe there might be more than one person whose gathering up the rogues. So be prepared to fight if the time comes," Will spoke up through the mindlink.

There was a chorus of "Yes Alpha." Responding to will's demand.

The 5 of us walked towards the surrounding forest. We walked to the deepest part of the forest where the trees were thickest and formed a canopy overhead. The area was as wild as you could imagine but i couldnt care about any of that.

All i wanted was for my mate to be with me. In my arms where she would be safe and sound. Where i will never let her out of my sight again. Hayden scratched at the surface wanting to be let out and find his mate but i held him back.

I wanted to be able to face my little wolf's captor and question him before killing him with my own hands. I wouldnt let such a person get away with it even if i wanted to. Apparantly he was a person who was trying to harm the packs by gathering the rogues. How i dont know and i didnt care.

All i cared about was my mate and her health. I could feel that she was alive. Because if she had been killed then i would have felt pain. At the loss of my mate. I wouldnt have been myself. We came upon an area and i inhaled.

Instantly my eyes turned black as hayden tried to get control. He only wanted to kill. The scent was of my little mate. I felt an overwhelming sense of happiness when i found out that i had truly found her.

"Look over there. I think the beta female would be kept there," Jared said.

I was shaken away from my thoughts at Jared words and looked in the direction that he pointed. There was a cottage of sorts that looked to be well maintained. There were no gaurds around the place.

Whoever this place belonged to was a stupid person. I mean if you were a rogue then atleast have some gaurds or patrollers around the territory so that no outsider should enter. I scoffed at that.

"Should we kick open that door?" I asked, itching to just go in.
"Perhaps we should wait?" Jared asked.
"I think jay is right. Why wait when you are just a few seconds away from your target? Jay can you mind link reanne?" Will asked.
"I will try," i said.

"Little wolf its me jay. Can you hear me?" I asked, through the mindlink.

I tried three times but the mindlink didnt work. Were we even in the right place? We had to be in the right place! I cant get failed!

"I say we just break the damn door down!" I exclaimed.

With that i marched forward and crashed open the door.

So jay found reanne's hiding place at last! What will he do when he sees alex? Kill him or not?
