I was out with riley and taylor after a really long time. Ever since riley became the luna things havent been the same. She's always busy with her luna duties.

I guess it was for the better because she was always the leader in our little group. She was always the one settling mine and taylor's arguments when we couldnt decide on something. She was a born leader.

"So how's your luna status going?" I asked.

The three of us were sitting outside Starbucks drinking coffee and having snacks. It was mid evening.

"Pretty hectic but i miss you guys. I feel like i dont have enough free time," riley said, sipping her hot chocolate.
"Aw! We miss you two," i said, patting her hand.
"So you like being a luna?" Taylor asked.
"Yes i do. It can get quiet hectic but i dont mind. I mean i would die of boredom if i were to sit and do nothing," riley said.

The three of us laughed and finished our snacks.

"How about we go shopping or watch a movie?" I asked.
"Sure sounds like a great idea," taylor said.
"It is a great idea but i think we should go back," riley said.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because rosie's alone and i have to look after her," she said.
"You are saying that like she's your own daughter instead of someone else," i said.
"Well i cant help it. She feels like my own daughter and with jay its an entirely different situation. You know how william and jay are," riley said.
"Ok. I thought we could spend more time together," i sighed.
"Perhaps later," riley smiled at me.

The three of us walked back to the pack house. Since it was a sunny day we decided to take a walk as well. We were just about to take a turn when we heard a scream. The three of us stopped and listened for more. There it came. The scream again.

"Should we go and check it out?" Taylor asked.
"Yes," riley said, almost immediately.
"Uh i dont think its such a good idea," i said, nervously.
"Hush zuby. It could be someone in trouble for all we know," riley reprimanded me.
"But i think she's right. What if someone's getting robbed or something?" Taylor asked.
"Then you chickens stay here and let me find out," riley said, as she started walking.
"Oh fuck's sake. This girl. Come on taylor," i groaned.

The two of us followed riley to a small crowd that was gathered around. The screaming got more clearer and louder as we walked to the front. It was a woman. Who was leaning on the ground screaming.

"What happened?" I asked, the guy next to me.
"Her daughter got killed," he spoke, disgust clear in his voice.

I felt a sudden sympathy for this woman. She had just lost her child. Those rogues were cunning. They didnt know their limits. How could they just up and kill an innocent girl? Without any fear? That was so wrong!

"Hey. Who's she?" Riley asked gently.

I was taken aback by her gentle voice. I could also sense that she was in her luna mode right now.

"M-my d-daughter," the woman sniffed.
"Who killed her?" Riley asked.
"R-rogues. They t-took her life. S-she was i-innocent," the woman cried.
"Dont worry. We'll revenge your daughter. She's gone to heaven," riley said softly.
"She hasnt even found her mate yet. Why did she had to die so young?" The woman screamed.

I watched as riley habdled the woman until a man arrived. He appeared to be her mate as she fell into his arms and started crying again. Riley stood up and walked towards us.

"I think we should leave. I have to talk to william," riley said.

We nooded and the three of us left for the pack house.

"That poor woman," i sighed, shaking my head.
"Yeah. I wouldnt want to be in her position you know," taylor shuddered.
"I think the rogues are pairing up. Thats how they kidnapped reanne," riley said.
"Talking about reanne. How's jay doing?" I asked.
"He's terrible. He hasnt slept propperly for days," riley sighed.
"Poor jay. I cant imagine what he would be going through," i said.
"I just hate these rogues. Why cant we just kill all of them and let us rest in peace?" Taylor asked.
"Because we arent killers like the rest of them," riley said.
"Yeah because we are peaceful beings who lives in packs," i scoffed.

The pack house came into view and the three of us went into william's office. It was one of those rare times that i had been inside his office.

"Hey babe," william smiled at riley.
"Hey," riley walked up to him and kissed him.
"PDA please," taylor said, earning a growl from a person.

All of us looked around for the source and i saw jay scattered between papers. He looked up at us and i felt a lot of sympathy for him. He looked like a walking dead. No kidding.

If thats what a loss of mate can do to you then i dont think i would live without rolland for long. And i dont want to experience this pain. Thank you very much.

"Jay buddy- william started

But he was cut of as jay stormed out of the office.

"What i did reminded him of reanne. I am sorry william. I should have been more considerate," riley said.
"Hey hey. It wasnt your fault. If the positions were reversed william would have done the same thing," i said.
"Zuby's right. It isntt anyone's fault. Dont blame yourself," william said.
"The rogue's killed a pack member," taylor.
"What?" William asked, his whole demeanure changing.
"Yeah. The poor mother was weeping her heart out on the street. I couldnt even comfort her properly," rileyy shook her head.
"This is gettinng out of hand. We have to find the person and fast. This isnt  good," william said.
"I think we should leave you guys to your work then," i said, as they both got down to business.
"Yeah," taylor said.

The two of us walked out of the office and headed upto our rooms. I just hopef that they ssolved the rogue issue as soon as possible.

As you all can see i tried putting in chapters to the main character's list. I hoped this was good. And what do you all think of this book? Is it better? Good? Or just meh?
