I didnt tell my little wolf about the threats the packs were getting. I knew she would be worried about Rosie and our family. William had increased the number of patrollers around the borders.

During the time she had been out yesterday i had been worried for her and my babygirl. Even at 2 years old Rosie was starting to look like Reanne. She would grow up to be beautiful just like her mother.

The ringing of my phone brought me out of my thoughts. I scowled as i saw the name on the screen. It was my biological mother. I still dont know why they tried to give me up for adoption. Yet even if they loved me then why did they gave me up.

I let the phone ring until the call ended. I sighed and ran a hand through my black hair. I needed to see my little wolf. Getting up i went down to Ian's room and knocked on the door.

"Come in," Pam said.
"Hey," i said, smiling as i entered.

Pam, Reanne and Riley were sitting on the bed apparantly having a girl time.

"Did you need something?" My little wolf asked.
"Yes. I actually needed to talk to you," i said.

Once outside i stared into her bright brown eyes and felt my heart beat wildly. What my mate did to me! She had all of me wrapped around her little finger. Hayden purred inside me.

"You needed something?" My little wolf asked.

I leaned forward and kissed her forehead. The simple contact made me feel calm and relaxed.

"Jay?" My little wolf asked.
"I was wondering if you would go out on a date with me?" I asked.

My little wolf giggled making me smile.

"Thats one of the most silliest questions Jay," my little wolf said.
"So you'll go?" I asked.
"Of course. But what about Rosie?" My little wolf asked, frowning a bit.
"I will ask Riley or Pam to look after her," i said.
"You two can go out and have some alone time. Me and Riley will watch over Rosie," Pam poked her head in.
"Were you listening this entire time?" Reanne asked.
"Couldnt help Reanne. You were right outside my door," Pam laughed.

"Hey man," Ian said, as he came.
"Ian," Pam ran over to him practically letting him fall over.

The two of us laughed and left; knowing the two of them needed some alone time.

"Is something bothering you big teddy?" Reanne asked.
"A bit," i said.
"What is it?" She sounded worried.
"My biological mother called today but i didnt pick up the call," i said.
"You should just call her mom Jay," Reanne said, as we entered our room.
"But she didnt raised me up," i said.
"She gave birth to you and her reasons are valid enough," she said.
"How can you have a big heart?" I asked, amazed.
"I think because i am a female as well?" She asked with a grin.
"Most females are selfish as well," i said.
"Pfft. I am not like most females," she said.
"True that," i agreed, pulling her to me.

I nuzzled her neck making her shiver. It gave me immense saitsfaction to know that i could elicit such a response from such a simple touch.

"Jay what are you doing?" My little wolf asked.
"Showing affection," i said, not stopping my movements.
"Mmm.. that means i should also show you some in return?" She asked.

I stopped at her words and stared at her.

"You actually want to return the affection?" I asked.
"Mhmmm," she said, giving me a coy smile.
"Lets see what my little wolf has in mind," i smirked.
"You'll have to catch me," she said, before sprinting away from me.

I let her run a few times before catching her on the balcony of our room. I looked into my little wolf's eyes seeing happiness only.

I only wanted her happiness. I wanted to see her smile every day. Her eyes shining with happiness as she looked at me. I wanted to be her everything the way she was my everything.

I leaned towards her slowly never breaking eye contact until a voice said, "Mama."

The both of us blinked and stepped away from each other.

"I should probably check on Rosie," Reanne said.

We went back to our room to see Rosie with Nathan and Riley. Rosie ran to Reanne and hugged her leg.

"You arent going to welcome daddy?" I asked, crouching down so i was at eye level with Rosie.

"Vercum," Rosie said, making us laugh.
"She just said a new word," Riley laughed.
"Its welcome not vercum," Nathan.
"Rosie's a child Nathan. She'll learn soon," Riley said.
"Lets go give you a night bath," i said, picking up Rosie.
"Hey what about that date?" I called after her.
"You better get ready for that too," my little wolf called back.

I smiled feeling utter happiness. Werewolves were the best species of the planet. I took out my set of clothes and waited for Reanne and Rosie to get out of the bathroom.

~Time Lapse~

I took Reanne to dinner at a nearby restaurant since she didnt want to leave Rosie.

"How do i look?" Reanne asked.

There were quite a few females in the restaurant who were eye-rapping me. I knew that she must be getting self-conscious about herself and so decided to play with her.

"You look ok," i said.

Hayden gave a small growl inside but i chose to ignore him; blocking the mindlink so Reanne couldnt get inside.

"You look ok," i said, while looking at the menu.

From the corner of my eyes i saw Reanne's mouth open and her eyes widened. I smirked to myself and looked around the restaurant.

I saw some teenage girls sitting a few tables down and an idea formed inside. Catching the attention of two girls i winked at them causing them to giggle. I motioned them to come to me and they did so.

"Hey handsome," one girl giggled.

I failed to notice the look on Reanne's face and ignored Hayden's warning.

"Hey. Would you two beautiful ladies like to join me?" I asked, smirking at them.

The girls looked a bit hesitant as they glanced at Reanne. Thats when i noticed her hurtful expression. I immediately regretted my decision but it was too late. Reanne stood up and walked out of the restaurant.

I all but ran after her my heart racing inside.

'You are an idiot,' Hayden growled.
'Shut up. You dont need to make me feel bad,' i said.

"Hey," i said, grabbing Reanne's arm.
"You should go back inside," Reanne said, not looking at me.

Placing my hand under her chin i turned her face around so she was looking at me. Well more like my chest since she wouldnt look into my eyes.

"I was just kidding my little wolf," i said, my heart breaking by making her hurt.

Reanne looked up at me and i sucked in a breath. Her beautiful brown eyes were filled with tears. I hugged her to me tightening my arms around her.

"You have no idea how rejected me and my wolf felt Jay," she sniffed.
"Hey i am sorry. I was just kidding," i said.
"I tried reading you but you had blocked me," she said.

I pulled back a bit so that i was able to look at her and smoothed out her tears.

"You are the most beautiful thing in the whole wide world. I am nothing without you," i said, letting her see the honesty in my eyes.
"I am hungry," Reanne said, making me laugh and kiss her nose.

Finally glad that everything was good again we walked back to the restaurant and continued on our date.

Anybody remembered what happened between Reanne's childhood friend Alicia and herself?? I forgot. Tbh.😕
