Jay

I hadnt been able to sleep well because well- my little wolf wasnt with me. I cant sleep without her. Having her pillow in my arms was of little consolence. When it was 8, i mindlinked william.

"Uh hey buddy," i said, hesitantly.
"Hey Jay. Whats up?" William yawned.
"Can you ask riley to take care of rosie?" I asked.
"Of course. You dont need to worry about her. She's up anyway," he said.
"Thanks," i said, feeling relieved.

Getting ready for the day was everyday routine but today it felt like i was doing it like a monotone.  I couldnt face rosie because of the way i felt. Like crap. I waited until a knock sounded on the door.

"Hey. Uh thanks riley. Hey buddy," i tried smiling at nathan.
"Hey jay. Everything's gonna be ok," riley said, giving me an assuring smile.
"I think i will leave rosie at your capable hands," i said, to which she laughed.
"You dont have to worry for rosie," she said.

Walking out of the room i headed out of the pack house. I wanted to find that bastard who kidnapped my mate! If i knew who it was then that person wouldnt be alive the next minute. I will make sure to kill that person the minute i know who it is.

Walking around the territory i saw children of all ages playing around. As we were wolves; our children had plenty of energy which they used in their playtime.

Racking a hand through my hair i made my way to the boundary line. We only had gates at the main entrrance. All around the territory we had men gaurded. Who were supposed to know who had kidnapped my mate.

Hayden wanted the patrollers to be placed in the cells but i knew that it wasnt their fault. Nor was it alicia's fahlt because she couldnt think about hurting reanne.

"Hello beta," one of the pateollers said.
"Hey. Where's the tracker?" I asked.
"He's doing his duty at the moment sir. Want me to call him?" He asked.
"Let him finish first and then tell him that i had summoned him," i said.
"Ok beta," he said.

I couldnt think of what to do without reanne. She was  my light of everything. Without her i was nothing. Without her i didnt even knew how to function properly.

Walking into the surrounding forest i took of my clothes and shifted into hayden. The change in the shift brought back a sense of power. Wolf power. My vision became clearer. My sense of hearing became ten times better. Even my olfaction became clearer. Everything was ten times better in my wolf form than my human form.

I started running through the forest. The wind whipped my fur around making my blood pump through the body. My legs carried me through our territory. Baring my teeth i sniffed the air.

I wasnt a tracker but i sure knew how to catch an unknown scent. There wasnt any unknown scent that could make me find that person. I just hoped that reanbe was ok. Whereever she was.

"Jay we got a track," william said.
"Whats that?" I asked, running even faster.
"I think we should start searching the neighboring packs," he said.
"What do you mean by that? That whoever kidnapped reanne took her out of the territory?" I asked.
"We can only guess because the kidnapper wouldnt want to get caught easily," he said.

I snarled at that and blocked the mindlink. I ran hard and fast letting the adrenaline in my body flow freely. Once tired i came upon a small lake. I lapped away at the water and sat down on the grass. The sun beat down on my body making me warmer than before. Werewolves had natural body heat and never got a cold. Well almost never. Thinking of reanne i fell into a deep slumber.

Dream/flashback:

Me and reanne were out on a picnic with rosie. It was a rare warm day and reanne had baked sandwitches, cake and all the goodies.

Rosie was playing on the ground beside us with her dolls. Reanne was fishing out plastic cups and plates.

"Do you think rosie would mind a brother or sister?" I asked, out of blue.
"I hope not," reanne said, a beautiful blush creeping upon her face.
"I know i wouldnt mind another child or two," i winked at her.
"Jay! You cant say that in front of kids!" She exclaimed.
"What sweetie? I didnt say anything," i grinned cheekily at her.
"Daddy play," rosie said, holding up her doll.
"Yeah baby. Daddy will play with you," reanne grinned at me.
"Uh how about we play hide and seek?" I asked.

I wasnt fit to play dolls! I could hear reanne chuckling to herself.

"Tag," rosie said excitedly.
"Yes tag," i smirked at reanne.

It was turn to be the catcher. I pretended to always lose rosie whenever i got near enough to touch her. But the thought of more kids than one lingered in my mind.

It would be good to have more than one child in the family.

Dreame/flashback ends

By the time i woke up the sun was setting. I skretched my wolfish body and yawned broadly. Shaking out my black fur i started my trek back home. My babygirl would be waiting for her daddy to come home. As soon as i got home i was confronted by both mike and seth who wore furious looks on their faces.

"Whats wrong guys?" I asked, worried.
"Whats wrong? We should be the one asking you this! We hear from other people that our sister got kidnapped and you are saying whats wrong?" Mike exclaimed.
"So thats why rosie's not seeing with her mom all day because her mom isnt here!" Seth glared at me.
"Look i didnt want to worry you all," i sighed, rubbing a hand through my hair.
"You are just chilling around while our sis is kidnapped!" Mike growled.

That got me a bit annoyed. I mean seriously? He was saying that i wasnt worried about my own mate? That was just ludiricious.

"You are saying i dont worry about my mate?" I growled right back.
"Yes thats exactly what i mean!" He exclaimed.
"It wasnt intended to let my mate get kidnapped ok?" I snarled.

Hayden was fighting for control but i didnt give him any. Because mike and seth both had valid reasons to be mad at me. Afterall it was their sister who got kidnapped.

"Look find her soon or else we'll make a move on our own," mike warned.

With that they both moved away leaving me more worried and confused like a lost puppy.

In the flashback i wrote dream as well bbecause you could depict it however you like it.
