Crossover of Lives (Part 2)

———

"I'm sorry, sir. But I don't know who you are."

"You can't remember me?" Ben asked with confusion. "You look like my wife and your son has my child's name. It would be crazy if it's just coincidence." Ben started to hide his eyes from being seen by everyone. No matter what he does, his tears still kept on falling down.

Amy was about to say she can't lend a hand to them but then her face lit up. She remembered someone who can really help them.

"Sir, I know who can help you," Amy started. "Ma'am Delle, can you remember anything about Thaliana and his father?"

"I can't remember anything. I don't even know them," Delle replied.

"Juniors, let's go!" Amy said to her friends and she raised her right hand with a support from her left hand. She thought of the place and a large Communal Portal materialized at their front.

"Your Majesty, that is a portal," Thaliana said in amusement.

Delle looked at the portal and turned to Amy while the Juniors were climbing up their own horses.

"Your Majesty?" Delle asked.

Thaliana and Peter nodded in a perfect concurrency.

"Amy is the Princess of the Portland Goldens. That is a thing we knew on the adventure," Peter explained.

"Your Majesty," Delle silently said while staring respectfully at Amy. "Where is that portal heading?"

"This heads to someone who can really help your family's situation," Amy answered and smiled. "Please wait for us to come back."

"We will wait for you," Thaliana smiled and gave her signature nod. Amy waved and looked at her teammates to assure everyone's present. That is when someone didn't understand Amy's look.

"Where are going?" Tom asked. Amy looked at the Communal Portal and touched it's light.

"Just follow me," Amy said and readied to enter the portal. "I am sure you already have a hint."

Amy slightly kicked Airie's stirrups forward. The rest followed Amy to the Communal Portal and the light surrounded them as they were transporting to a familiar place. They all landed on the interior area of a gate surrounding them. The Communal Portal disappeared.

"This is Wizard Sheloin's house," Elise grinned. "I am right."

"I know you would be right," Amy smiled sweetly and went down Airie's saddle. She walked to the door of Sheloin's house and knocked. The door opened on its own and they heard an old welcoming voice, "Juniors, come in. I know you are there." The Juniors obeyed and entered the house.

"Wizard, good afternoon," Amy greeted and glanced at the horses outside. Sheloin approached them while arranging his brown hat.

"This seem to be urgent," Sheloin commented. "Tell me what you need so I can provide it immediately."

"It's not too urgent, Wizard. It's just a need," Amy said. "We just want to ask for something that can cure Amnesia."

"I'm sorry. We don't have medicines or vials for that. There are no spells for that," Wizard sadly explained.

Amy and her friends looked at each other and exhaled silently. It means, there will be no way to help their family, Amy thought.

"Then how can we make someone remember what she has forgotten?" Sally asked and stepped forward.

"We can solve your problem of memories using alternative ways," Wizard said. "Not spells, vials, and medicines. We'll try to search some of the books and I'll give a helpful dream to them. Just tell me their names."

Amy smiled like her teammates do.

"They are Thaliana, Ben, Peter, and Delle. Ma'am Delle is the one who forgot her past," Elise narrated. They narrated more of the story while Sheloin is on a search of a book.

"I see," Sheloin mumbled and opened an aged book from the shelf of prophecies. The book is not a book of prophecy. It is only a simple book.

"As what is said here, being friends with the one you forgot will somehow be useful," Sheloin read and grinned. "Don't be stressed, Juniors."

"Thank you, Wizard!" Lance said.

"You're welcome," Wizard said. "Now, go to them. They might need you. I'll take care of the dream of Delle."

"Thank you, Wizard!" Amy beamed and led her team out of Sheloin's house. As everyone were already on their horses, Amy tenaciously made a Communal Portal to Delle's hut. They passed through the thin layer of light and landed their horses' feet on Delle's yard.

"Where are they?" William asked in shock. They all looked around the place. Ben, Thaliana, Peter, and Delle were not there. Peter's sword is on the ground and Lance jumped down to pick it up.

"Their door is open," Tom just said all on a sudden. The Juniors went down their horses and entered Delle's hut in no time. They can hear Peter's voice, saying, "mom, wake up." The voice they heard led them to a bedroom where Delle laid down with her eyes closed. She has no wound, she breathes, and she is in complete condition.

"What happened to Ma'am Delle, Sir Ben?" Sally asked and turned to Thaliana who never lets go of her spear. Lance gave the small sword he recently saw outside to Peter.

"My mother just fell asleep," Peter exhaled and sat beside the bed where Delle is laid.

"Maybe, it is because of Wizard Sheloin," Amy said. After a few seconds, Delle started to move. She opened her eyes and rose up.

"Ben, Thaliana, Peter," Delle slowly said. Her memories were back! Yes, Delle had those memories in that swift. "Thank you, your Majesty. Without you and your friends, my family wouldn't be together again."

The Juniors only nodded as a you're welcome. After talking for a while and watching the family, the Juniors left to give time for the family to live normally. Whether the Juniors found them or not, their family is meant to be rejoined. After lending a hand to this family, the memory lived in the back of their minds to remind them how kind they really are.
