Unikitty: (Master) Timidity
I know what you're all thinking: "Wow, this girl has got a lot of Unikitty OCs." Well, to that I say... You're right. I do have quite a few, but that's just because I really love the show (especially Hawkodile), not because I'm crazy (or maybe I am).
Anyway, here's another one of my Unikitty OCs:
Her name is Timidity. She's a female witch (though she prefers the term "mage") who later becomes a Doom Lord. She has very light purple skin and white hair with lavender-pink tips (yes, it's naturally colored) styled in a short and fluffy low ponytail held with a purple hair bow. She also has shiny pinkish-lilac eyes with eyelashes that kinda make it look like she's wearing dark purple eyeliner. Her apparel consists of a lavender-magenta dress (that probably doesn't look exactly like the one in the photo) and dark amethyst-colored boots. She usually carries with her a pastel-magenta wand with a purple handle.
In this world, Timidity has one main enemy: pride. She believes that arrogance, conceit, and egotism are the worst flaws that one can possibly have. Because of this, she's made it her personal mission to eradicate pride from the world. It also means that if you throw some insults her way, she'll be kinda hurt but very appreciative of what she believes to be your attempts to keep her humble, and complimenting her is pretty much guaranteed to leave her almost totally unresponsive (and/or blushing, especially if you're Brock). If you get her angry enough (which can be done through bragging, showing off, excessively complimenting her, or invading her privacy) or threaten her, she's definitely going to blast out a spell or two (nothing too ostentatious, though).
Besides that, she's quite a calm, graceful, demure, and modest person, hating to show off in any way and always withholding any compliments that she might have stored-up towards others. That being said, she's quite tenacious as well. Once she gets a goal going, she is not willing to give it up. She's also very smart and really loves reading, and it's not just limited to her spell books.
The story behind this all started when Timidity was just a little girl. Her parents had always told her: "Out of all the bad things in this world, absolutely none of them are as awful as these two things: arrogance and hubris." They also taught her that there are far too many prideful people in the world and that even the smallest little compliment can cause an ego to take root and slowly start consuming someone. Timidity really ended up taking all of those lessons to heart. She also started studying magic when she was 8 years old, got into ballet (which she loves) when she was 7, and has even gone to some charm camps.
Now for her relationships with other characters:
Timidity somewhat admires that despite her high position as a princess, Unikitty doesn't show any conceit or haughtiness and instead treats her subjects like equals. In turn, Unikitty really likes Timidity's fashion choices and fluffy ponytail, thus giving the cute pink kitty princess reason to compliment the pink-and-purple endowed witch on this. Nonetheless, Unikitty is still really against Timidity's philosophy on pride. I mean, what's wrong with feeling good about yourself?
It's a somewhat similar story with Richard. Timidity has some respect for the dull gray brick due to his willingness to put others over himself. However, while he personally finds humility to be a rather valuable virtue himself, he still thinks that Timidity's goal is waayy too extreme and considers her a genuine possible threat.
Timidity's views on Ellie are also pretty alike. She sees in Ellie a lot of potential due to the little elephant's meekness (or politeness).
As for the rest of the Unigang, Timidity finds Dr. Fox to be somewhat too egocentric when it comes to her inventions and thinks that Hawkodile is somewhat too proud of his physical strength and fighting skills (though there is his crush on Dr. Fox). As for Puppycorn... Well, the little blue pupper just constantly seems to melt the little witch's heart with his wholesome nature, his naïve, childlike charm, and the fact that she just really loves dogs.
Next up is her interactions with Master Frown. Well, he's pretty egotistical, which Timidity finds really annoying (though she doesn't show it). In turn, Master Frown hates the way she gets all unresponsive after being complimented. However, they still (begrudgingly) manage to work together, as Master Frown likes Timidity's plan to eliminate pride from everyone (because he knows it'll leave anyone miserable). Luckily, Brock is frequently around to calm Master Frown (and to redirect Timidity's attention).
Speaking of Brock, Timidity usually thinks that he's pretty sweet (not that she'd say it aloud), but she's kinda bothered by the way he constantly compliments her and goofs off. However, she's still able to work with him thanks to this mantra: "You deserve this. You deserve this. You deserve this." As for Brock's side, he really likes how she's cute-looking (in his opinion), smart, and was very gracious towards him and Master Frown when they first visited her cottage (which I'll be describing quite soon). However, he's also kinda freaked out and somewhat confused about her strong aversion to being complimented (partially because of her going so unresponsive).
Timidity resides in a purple-roofed cottage along the deepest part of the woods. It's quite small and humble, just the way she likes it. The interior and exterior consist of many soft pastel colors, mainly pink and purple. In her cottage, there's an area where she works on her magical spells and potions (or just reads a book or two), and it contains many bookshelves, a mortar and pestle, a brewing pot (she doesn't really like to call it a cauldron), and a reading desk. There's also a few food shelves and basic essentials (along with quite a variety of teas, in case there's company) in the kitchen and a very small sleeping room.
So that's pretty much Timidity. What are your thoughts on her? Please leave your opinions in the comments below!
P. S. Timidity's character design is somewhat inspired by the design of Charmcaster from Ben 10. Her voice actress would also be Kari Wahlgren, kinda giving her a somewhat softer and gentler-sounding version of Charmcaster's voice.
