Alycia POV

I was sitting on my bed when i suddenly hear a ping coming from my phone.

EMILIE: Hey what if I told you that we were going to see something amazing tomorrow?

I don't know what to make of this text, so I text back the simplest answer that I could say.

Alycia: Why? Are we going to see something amazing tomorrow?

Emilie: What If I told you that we are going to see Newsies?

When I saw that text I immediately started to fangirl. newsies was my favorite musical ever. I go through phases each year and this years "musical obsession" as Emilie calls it, is Newsies.

Alycia: I am internally fangirling because you mentioned Newsies. But since you said that, I would be screaming at you for not telling me sooner. Why, are we going to see Newsies?

Emilie: Maybe.....🤐🤐🤐

Alycia: Emilie, are you revealing to me that you got us tickets to see my "musical obsession" of the year?!?!?!?!?!?!?!😊😊😁😁🤩🤩Because if you are then I will personaly take back all of the death threat that I have told the group in our chat room.

Emilie: You would really do that? If I told you that I got us both tickets to see Newsies in New York, on Broadway with the Original Broadway Cast?

Alycia: Emilie I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What time are we going?

Emilie: The show starts at 8, but we can leave around 5 if we want to get dinner before the show?

Of course i would want to leave hecca early! I think to myself. This is going to be amazing.

Alycia: Why don't we leave at 12, b/c I want to walk around the city, I have not been there is soooooo long! Em, I have to go I am getting ready for tomorrow. And before you day anything  pick out all of my clothes for basically the next day so be prepared for what I am going to send you. BTW You need to be dressed up. You can't wear sweats and a tee, you have to wear something nice, like a dress for once. Maybe a rhomper, but nice.

Emilie: Of course, lee. I will wear something nice. I was thinking something along the lines of this:

Alycia: OMG Em! Perfect! I was thinking something green for me maybe:

Emilie: Yasssssssss, that would look sooooo good on you, Lee! See ya tomorrow!

Alycia: Bye see ya tomorrow!

And with that I plugged in my phone and laid my head down onto my pillow, not bothering to get changed from the clothes I wore to school. Once my head hit the pillow, I fell into a dream filled slumber.
