Ash and Pikachu: Last time on "The Ashtounding Race"...

Ash: The teams travelled to Paris. Their wills were tested, their artistic limits were pushed, their bravery was challenged.

Pikachu: And Snorlax ate more cheese than scientifically possible.

Ash: In the end, Hawlucha and Greninja made it into first place.

Pikachu: But, as for Kingler and Muk, it was game, set and match. In other words, they were eliminated.

Ash: Who will be next? Well, they all got potential.

Pikachu: Stay tuned to find out. Because it's time for...

Both: The Ashtounding Race.

(Theme music plays)

Ash and Pikachu were at The Louvre.

Ash: Yesterday's chill zone was The Louvre, which is today's starting point.

Pikachu: Teams will start in the order they finished, which means Hawlucha and Greninja will be the first ones to go.

(Ash and Pikachu sees Bulbasaur and Snivy walking towards them)

Ash: Bulbasaur and Snivy? What brings you both here?

Pikachu: You came in second. So, you can't grab the travel tip first until after Hawlucha and Greninja.

Bulbasaur: Who said anything about leaving first? We just wanted to ask you both something.

Pikachu: What is it?

Snivy: Some of the teams were thinking about switching teammates. We were thinking about doing the same, but we just thought we'd ask you both about them.

Pikachu: Switching teammates, huh?

Ash: We'll think about it.

(Interview)

Greninja: We're not sure if Bulbasaur and Snivy are going to switch teammates, but we got our eyes on them in case they stay as teammates.

Hawlucha: Agreed. Give those two an inch and they'll take the whole race.

(End Interview)

Greninja hits the Poke ball shaped button on the Pikachu Tip Box and grabs the travel tip.

Greninja: Take the train to Calanque de Maubois on the Mediterranean Coast and search the station for your next travel tip. Come on, let's hurry.

Hawlucha: Right behind you.

(Greninja and Hawlucha runs off)

Ash: Teams must take the train south to Calanque de Maubois. Misty, care to explain?

Misty: With pleasure, Ash. Calanque de Maubois skirts the Mediterranean on the south of France with sands so fine, you want it to get in your shorts. The Red Cliffs are one of the many sights that make this a popular tourist attraction.

Misty was at the beach, wearing her swimsuit.

Misty: Did I mention that the beaches are awesome? Because they are.

Bulbasaur and Squirtle pressed the Poke Ball button on the Pikachu Tip Box and grabbed their tip. Snivy and Totodile were psyched about the next part of the race.

Bulbasaur: To the train station!

Squirtle: Go!

Both teams ran off as Talonflame, Noivern, Donphan and Scraggy made their way to the Pikachu Tip Box. Talonflame hits the Poke Ball button and was about to grab the tip when a mime grabbed it and ran off.

Talonflame: Hey! Give me that back!

(Talonflame chased after the mime)

Scraggy looks at Noivern.

Scraggy: So, um... the name's Noivern, right?

Noivern: Yeah. Say, how did Ash meet you?

Scraggy: Pokémon Egg. You?

Noivern: Same thing.

Donphan: You're not alone, you two.

Both: Say what now?

Donphan: I was from a Pokémon Egg as well.

(Talonflame comes back with the tip)

Talonflame: Got the tip, Noivern. Let's move.

Noivern: Right. I'll see you guys soon. Maybe we can talk about how we met Ash later.

Donphan and Scraggy: Sure thing.

(Interview)

Scraggy: Seriously, you hatched from a Pokémon Egg?

Donphan: Yeah, when I was Phanpy. It's a long story.

Scraggy: Can you tell me about it later?

Donphan: Sure.

(End Interview)

Hawlucha and Greninja were trying to call for a taxi, but most of them just passed by.

Greninja: There are so many cabs. Why won't they stop?

Hawlucha: I got this.

Hawlucha jumps out into the road. He then karate chops a taxi, stopping it in its tracks.

Hawlucha: Sorry, pal, but we need a lift. (Hawlucha looks at Greninja) Got one.

(Interview)

Greninja: You karate chopped a taxi?

Hawlucha: Would you'd rather jump out in the road and stop it without getting yourself hit?

Greninja: Fair point. But, seriously, you're lucky you didn't get hurt.

Hawlucha: Well, it worked, didn't it?

(End Interview)

Bulbasaur and Snivy were running when they saw the subway.

Bulbasaur: The subway! We can take that to the train station.

Snivy: Smart. It's the fastest way there.

They both ran down to the subway. Squirtle and Totodile follows them.

(Interview)

Totodile: Our strategy's pretty simple. We decided to follow the other teams instead of figuring out where to go ourselves.

Squirtle: And most of the teams are pretty smart.

(End Interview)

Back at The Louvre, Oshawott and Pignite grabbed their travel tip from the Pikachu Tip Box and ran off. Torterra, Infernape, Leavanny and Palpitoad made their way to the Pikachu Tip Box.

Infernape: Alright, who's up for some fun?

(Torterra hits the Poke Ball shaped button on the Pikachu Tip Box and grabs the grabs the travel tip)

Torterra: Can we have fun later? For now, we need to focus on the race.

Palpitoad: Your friend makes a good point. Maybe we can come back here later. Like, after the race.

(Leavanny hits the Poke Ball shaped button and grabs the travel tip)

Torterra: The tip says to go to the train station.

Leavanny: Race you there.

(The two teams run off)

The taxi Greninja and Hawlucha were in was driving down the road.

Hawlucha: See any directions, Greninja?

Greninja: No luck. I can't find a map in the glove box.

Hawlucha: Keep searching, I'll talk to the driver for directions.

Meanwhile, Donphan and Scraggy were running down the road.

Donphan: Wasn't sure you were going to keep up, Scraggy.

Scraggy: You try running like this.

Donphan: I think I see the train station up ahead.

Scraggy: Let's move, then. If we hurry, we can catch the first train.

Back with Greninja and Hawlucha, Greninja sees the train station.

Greninja: There's the train station!

Hawlucha: Saw this in a move once. Hang on.

The taxi spins pass traffic and slides into a parking spot. Greninja and Hawlucha got out of the taxi.

(Interview)

Greninja: You ever thought about becoming a stunt Pokémon?

Hawlucha: I'll think about it. I mean, I did become a stunt double for Pikachu when he was in a movie. But, that's another story for another time.

Greninja: Noted.

(End Interview)

Meanwhile, Snorlax and Charizard were the last team to leave the starting line. They grabbed their tip from the Pikachu Tip Box and left The Louvre.

Ash: Looks like Charizard and Snorlax are the last team to leave the starting line.

Pikachu: Hopefully, they'll catch up with the other teams at the train station.

At the train station, Bulbasaur, Snivy, Squirtle, Totodile, Greninja, Hawlucha, Talonflame, Noivern, Scraggy and Donphan were heading for the train which was about to leave the station. As for the rest of the teams, they were in taxis, heading for the train station to catch the next teams.

Unfezant was looking outside while Sceptile was looking at the map.

Unfezant: So, we're heading for the south of France, huh? I heard a lot about the beaches.

(Scpetile was shocked)

Sceptile: Oh, man! Don't tell me I lost them!

Unfezant: Lost, what?

(Sceptile checks the bags)

Sceptile: I know it's in here.

Sceptile sighs of relief and picks up one of the bags. Inside it was French food.

Sceptile: Got it. I grabbed some food from a Parisian restaurant, in case we might get hungry. Want some?

Unfezant: You even have to ask?

Behind their taxi was another one with Torkoal and Glalie. Torkoal and Glalie were explaining where the taxi driver should go to reach the train station.

(Interview)

Torkoal: We had a few... issues before we met Ash.

Glalie: Battles, at times. But, one thing we were great at were traveling the roads and where to go.

Torkoal: Very useful when you follow your surroundings more. We might even outthink the other teams.

Glalie: Who would've thought memorizing different routes on the map would come in handy one day.

(End Interview)

Corphish was looking at the map when it sees Buizel running and sweating.

Buizel: Guess we know which way is faster.

Corphish: Got that right.

(Interview)

Buizel: Corphish and I thought it would be a good idea to see which way would be the fastest way to reach the train station.

Corphish: I took the subway and Buizel took a taxi.

Buizel: In the end, the subway was faster. I did get a good run, at least.

Corphish: Worth it.

(End Interview)

Meanwhile, inside one of the taxis was Torterra and Infernape. Infernape was getting a camera ready.

Infernape: Hey, driver, can you take a photo of us?

Torterra: Seriously, Infernape? This is a race, not a vacation.

Infernape: Just thought it'd be fun to do this before we leave Paris. You know, for memories about traveling the world.

Torterra: Fine, but only for memories.

(Infernape takes the photo)

Back at the train station, Corphish and Buizel were looking at the map, Swellow and Staraptor were discussing strategy, Boldore and Krookodile were waiting for the train to arrive with Torkoal, Glalie, Sceptile and Unfezant.

Ash: As group two wait at the train station, group one has just arrived at the beach.

Hawlucha, Greninja, Donphan, Scraggy, Bulbasaur, Snivy, Talonflame, Noivern, Squirtle and Totodile have arrived at the beach and ahead of them was the Pikachu Tip Box.

Donphan: There's the Pikachu Tip Box! Let's move!

Donphan and Totodile hit the Poke Ball button and grabbed their travel tip. Donphan runs to Scraggy as the other teams gets their travel tips as well

Donphan: It's a "Botch or Watch". Who's turn is it?

Scraggy: I think it's yours. What's the challenge?

Totodile: Who wants to swim with... (Totodile gasps) SHARPEDOS?!

Ash and Pikachu were on a boat.

Ash: In this "Botch or Watch", whoever didn't draw the caricature in Paris must swim to this part of the Mediterranean and retrieved their travel tip from the fin of a Sharpedo.

Suddenly a Sharpedo jumps up and tries to bite Pikachu's tail.

Pikachu: WHOA! (Pikachu jumps us) Try that again and I'll give you a lightning bolt in the face!

Ash: One more thing: For those who aren't big fans of the water, we have wetsuits for each of you. You know, so you won't have to worry about getting any water on you.

Greninja: It also says, "Note: Teammates hurt from the Sharpedo will result in disqualification". Wow, they thought of everything.

All the teams were at the beach.

(Noivern kisses Talonflame on the cheek)

Noivern: For luck.

Talonflame: Thanks. Just hope I make it back.

(Squirtle give Totodile a high five)

Squirtle: Good luck, buddy.

Totodile: Consider this challenge crushed.

Totodile walks into the water.

(Interview)

Totodile: The "Botch or Watch" challenges are the worst, but this one is perfect for me. One time, I entered a league for Water-Type Pokémon.

Squirtle: Lucky you. I was out stopping fires after Johto.

(End Interview)

Greninja: Swim with Sharpedo? Man, you certainly dodged a bullet, Hawlucha.

Hawlucha: Good luck, Greninja. (Greninja jumps into the water) That'll put a fire in its spirit.

Talonflame, Snivy and Donphan jump into the water and start swimming.

(Interview)

Donphan: Turns out swimming in Sharpedo-infested waters is trickier than battling on land. Who knew?

Snivy: I faced worse battles than a sea full of Sharpedo.

(End Interview)

Snivy looks to see a Sharpedo behind her. She jumps backwards and grabs the travel tip off of the Sharpedo's fin and swam pass Talonflame.

Talonflame: Wow, nice move, Snivy.

Snivy: Why, thank you.

Talonflame sees one of the Sharpedos and swims to it. Talonflame was about to grab the tip when Totodile jumps onto it.

Totodile: Sorry, bud! (Sharpedo dunks in the water while Totodile hangs on) Got to! (Sharpedo dunks) Grab the! (Sharpedo dunks) Sharpedo by! (Sharpedo dunks) The fin! (Sharpedo dunks) Got to go!

Totodile was hanging on to the Sharpedo as it jumps around in the water. Talonflame, Donphan and Greninja were still in the water, trying to catch the travel tips.

Meanwhile, Train #2 has arrived with Torkoal and Glalie, Corphish and Buizel, Boldore and Krookodile, and Swellow and Staraptor. For some reason, there was no sign of Sceptile and Unfezant.

Glalie: Weren't Sceptile and Unfezant onboard as well?

Torkoal: No time to think about it. For now, head for the Pikachu Tip Box!

(The other teams follow them)

Talonflame was underwater and sees a Sharpedo. It grabs the tip of the Sharpedo's fin, but it turns around and narrows its eyes at Talonflame. Talonflame screams, drops the tip and swims away. However, Donphan sees the tip Talonflame lost and grabs it, then swam back to shore.

(Interview)

Scraggy: I'm actually amazed about Donphan. Takes a lot of guts to swim towards a Sharpedo.

Donphan: Not the first time, Scraggy. Believe me. They should have been scared of me.

(Donphan swings its trunks and hits the camera, also knocking down Tauros)

Donphan: Oops. Sorry about that, Tauros. You okay?
