Lianna and her Eevee were walking around Pewter City after the gym battle with Brock. "Let's heal up at the Pokémon Center!" Lianna explained. "Eevee! Vee!" Eevee explained happily. Lianna entered inside of the Pokémon Center. The Pokémon Center had some people in there this time. Lianna headed to the counter.

"Welcome to the Pokémon Center, can I help you?" Nurse Joy asked Lianna. "Can you heal my pals?" Lianna asked Nurse Joy. "Of course, just give me your Pokémon and I'll see them." Nurse Joy replied. Lianna handed over her Pokéballs. "Eevee, would you do the honors?" Lianna asked Eevee. Eevee jumped onto the counter. Nurse Joy takes the Pokémon to the healing machine. Lianna smiled. Nurse Joy heals the Pokémon. "Here you are. Your Pokémon are healthy and are fit for fighting." Nurse Joy replied. "Thank you Nurse Joy! Come on Eevee, let's continue to try to catch them all! It's my dream to complete a perfect Pokédex!" Lianna explained to Eevee. "Vee!" Eevee replied happily, jumping onto Lianna's head.

Lianna then headed out with Eevee. "I really want to get Pokémon like Cleffa, Igglybuff, Mime Jr. and other small and cute Pokémon! Maybe even the Kanto Starters..." Lianna suggested. "Eevee! Eev!" Eevee replied happily. Lianna entered the tall grass and a rustle comes from the grass. Lianna goes to the tall piece of shaking grass. A wild Bulbasaur appeared! Lianna looked at the Bulbasaur in awe. "A Bulbasaur! Ready, Eevee?" Lianna asked Eevee. "Vee!" Eevee shouted, jumping into action. "Quick Attack!" Lianna commanded. Eevee does so, doing damage. Bulbasaur uses Tackle and Eevee takes damage. "Growl!" Lianna commanded. Eevee used Growl, causing Bulbasaur's attack to fall, then it used Leech Seed. Eevee was seeded and is losing HP! "Tackle!" Lianna commanded and Eevee used it, Bulbasaur was weakened enough. Lianna used a Pokéball, which Bulbasaur entered the ball and it clicked.

"Yes! I caught it!" Lianna called out happily as she sends out Bulbasaur and scans it. Bulbasaur comes out of the ball, looking weak. The Pokédex said that Bulbasaur is male and knows Tackle, Growl and Leech Seed. Lianna heals up Bulbasaur, who feels very happy when he was healed up. "Hey Bulbasaur, I'm Lianna." Lianna said happily to Bulbasaur. "Bulbasaur." Bulbasaur gladly introduced himself. "My current team is Eevee, Bellsprout, Oddish, Bulbasaur, Pikachu and Nidorina..." Lianna said to herself. "Eevee!" Eevee called out to Lianna. "Welp! Time for training! Oddish and Eevee against Bulbasaur and Pikachu!" Lianna announced. The Pokémon all agreed and got ready. "You ready?" Lianna asked her pals. The Pokémon agreed. "Pikachu, Thundershock! Bulbasaur, Tackle! Oddish, Absorb! Eevee, Tail Whip!" Lianna commanded. The Pokémon except for Pikachu use their moves. "Pikachu?" Lianna asked Pikachu. Pikachu just dodged the attack. "Good job!" Lianna announced to Pikachu. "Pika!" Pikachu responded. "Now keep battling!" Lianna called, coaching them as they trained up. The Pokémon keep training until they can't anymore. "Okay. There we go." Lianna replied, healing them all up. They all were happy after being healed. "Ready to go find more Pokémon?" Lianna asked her pals. They all agreed happily. "Okay!" Lianna announced, leading them into the tall grass.

The Pokémon followed Lianna, then a noise could be heard. "Huh?" Lianna asked, listening to the noise. It sounds like someone throwing Pokéballs. "Oh! Hey there!" Lianna called. There was a girl named Filia throwing Pokéballs. "Huh? Who's there?" She asked in confusion. "My name is Lianna, a bunny. And these are some of my Pokémon." Lianna explained to Filia. "Oh! Hi! I'm Filia Ketchum, and this is my Riolu, and this is my friend, Ben." Filia introduced Lianna. "Hello!" Ben replied. "Riolu!" Riolu introduced itself. "Riolu is your partner? My partner is this Eevee who is in love with me." Lianna explained. "Yes, Eevee are known for that." Filia replied. Lianna smiled. "What brings you to miss Filia?" Ben asked Lianna. "I heard someone over here." Lianna replied. "Oh, right. That was me." Filia responded. "I wanna catch more Pokémon. I want to catch at least one of every single Pokémon!" Lianna announced. "That sounds awesome!" Filia replied. Lianna smiled. Filia smiled back. "Miss Filia, we must keep training." Ben instructed Filia. "I am going to be around here, trying to catch more Pokémon." Lianna explained to Filia. "Really, cool! But before you do, may I ask you something?" Filia asked Lianna. "Miss Filia!" Ben tried to tell Filia something. "Don't worry, it's the best way. I'm going to be strong and win the league island!" Filia announced.

"Yeah, what would you like to ask me?" Lianna asked Filia. "How are you doing on your journey?" Filia asked Lianna. "Good. I came from Johto, just defeated Brock." Lianna replied. "Really? Cuz I was wondering if you wanna have a battle with me because I want to be a strong and confident trainer and want to win the big tournament!" Filia interpreted. "Oh sure!" Lianna responded back. "Really? Cool!" Filia shouted in awe. "You ready?" Lianna asked Filia. "Okay!" Filia announced, jumping back with Riolu. "It's battle time!" Filia announced. A Pichu popped out of her bag and climbed onto her shoulder. "Oh Pichu, you wanna battle?" She asked it. "Chu!" Pichu replied. "Okay! Then go for it!" Filia announced. Pichu jumped into action.

"You ready, Eevee?" Lianna asked Eevee. "Eevee! Eevee!" Eevee announced, jumping into action. "Use Tail Whip!" Lianna commanded. Eevee used Tail Whip, lowering Pichu's defense stat. "Pichu! Thundershock!" Filia commanded. Pichu uses it and hits Eevee. "Now use Quick Attack!" Lianna commanded. Eevee does so. "Baby-Doll Eyes!" Filia directed Pichu. Pichu showed Eevee its baby doll eyes. Eevee's Attack Stat fell and Pichu took damage from the Quick Attack. "Use Tail Whip again!" Lianna commanded. "You too, Pichu!" Filia commanded. They both use Tail Whip and lower both of their defense stats. "Now for a Quick Attack!" Lianna ordered Eevee. "Show those eyes again!" Filia commanded, Pichu showed Eevee the Baby-Doll Eyes. "Close you eyes, Eevee!" Lianna commanded. Eevee shuts her eyes and hits Pichu. "Pichu!" Filia cried as she caught her Pichu. "You okay?" She asked him. "Pichu." He groaned, he fainted.

"Not bad, but now it's time for..." Filia said, throwing another Pokéball. A Mankey popped out of the Pokéball. "Mankey!" Mankey cried out. "A Mankey?" Lianna asked. "That's right, I caught it in this route." Filia replied. "Eevee, use Tail Whip!" Lianna commanded. "Taunt!" Filia commanded Mankey. Mankey taunts Eevee, stopping her Tail Whip. "Great! Now Scratch!" Filia commanded. Mankey charged at Eevee. "Counter with Quick Attack!" Lianna quickly commanded Eevee. Eevee used Quick Attack. "Low Kick!" Filia commanded Mankey. Both moves clashed at each other. "Oh dear!" Lianna cried. Mankey overpowered Eevee. "Eevee!" Lianna cried nervously. Eevee gets up, fortunately. "Great Mankey!" Filia congratulated Mankey. "Key!" Mankey replied happily. "Use Quick Attack again!" Lianna commanded. Eevee used it and hits Mankey. "Mankey! Low Kick!" Filia commanded Mankey. Mankey used it and hits Eevee. Eevee "fainted" and ran back to Lianna.

"Eevee! You okay?" Lianna asked, frowning and worried for Eevee. Eevee doesn't want to battle anymore. She is feeling sad. Lianna quickly healed her up. "You can sit on my head, we'll just switch Pokémon! Go Bulbasaur!" Lianna said, sending out Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur comes out of his Pokéball. "Leech Seed!" Lianna commanded. Bulbasaur uses it and Mankey gets seeded. "Now Tackle!" Lianna commanded. Bulbasaur does so. "Mankey! Ice Punch!" Filia commanded Mankey. "Dodge it!" Lianna cried. Bulbasaur dodge but tripped over. "Ice Punch!" Filia commanded. Both Bulbasaur and Mankey use their moves. "Oh my!" Lianna cried out loud. Both Pokémon look really tried. "Try not to use healing items." Ben explained to the girls. "Tackle again!" Lianna commanded. Bulbasaur uses it and hits Mankey. "Mankey!" Filia cried out. "Great job! Now Growl!" Lianna commanded. "Use Leer!" Filia commanded. Mankey does so. Both Pokémon lower the other's stats. "Now Tackle!" Lianna commanded. Bulbasaur charged at Mankey. "Dodge it!" Filia commanded and Mankey dodged the Tackle. "Oh dear!" Lianna cried out.

"Good work Mankey!" Filia congratulated Mankey. "Mankey!" Mankey called out. "Tackle again!" Lianna commanded. Bulbasaur uses it and hits Mankey. "Great job!" Lianna called out happily. "Bulba!" Bulbasaur responded. Lianna smiled at Bulbasaur. "Mankey! Ice Punch!" Filia called out. "That's that!" Ben announced. "Dodge quickly!" Lianna shouted. Bulbasaur tried to dodge, but he got hit. Bulbasaur fainted. "Oh dear! You okay, Bulbasaur?" Lianna asked Bulbasaur. "Bulba..." Bulbasaur groaned. "We did it, another win!" Filia explained. Mankey jumped into Filia's arms. Lianna healed up Bulbasaur. "You did your best." Lianna replied to Bulbasaur. Filia jumped for joy, then Lianna got an idea. "Wanna be friendly rivals?" She asked Filia. "Really? Well then, you bet! I'll be the bestest rival ever!" Filia accepted Lianna's request.

"Okay! I'm going to register you into my Pokénav. I never had a rival like you since Lisa." Lianna responded. "Really? You haven't? Well, I'll do the same!" Filia explained. Lianna registered Filia into her Pokénav. "Lisa was a rival of mine, she had much cooler Pokémon than me... But she mostly was in contests and she also helped me get stronger." Lianna explained to Filia about Lisa. Filia registered Lianna into her Pokénav. "Really? She sounds cool!" Filia replied back. "Yeah. Glad to meet you, Filia." Lianna responded, shaking her hand. "Likewise, Lianna." Filia responded. "I am going to train up my pals." Lianna responded. "Okay, good luck!" Filia responded.

And so, Lianna has met a new friend/rival that will start a blossoming friendship with each other. Lianna will continue her journey and catch more pals to complete the quest and Pokédex.
