It is quiet in Pewter City. "Quiet day in town..." Lianna said to herself, heading inside the Pokémon Center. There were many people in the Pokémon Center, but no Nurse Joy. "No sign of a Nurse Joy..." Lianna said, looking at Eevee on her shoulder. "Eevee!" Eevee replied to Lianna. Lianna stroked her Eevee. "Veee!" Eevee purred and smiled. Lianna rubbed her tail. "Veee!" Eevee smiled. "Eevee! Veee!" Eevee laughed. Lianna then thought of an idea. "You know what we should do? We should build a high school or school of sorts and have all sorts of Demis and humans come to our school to learn about Pokémon and other stuff!" Lianna suggested. "Eevee?" Eevee asked. "You'll see when we get there." Lianna replied. "Eevee. Eevee." Eevee replied.

"So, where is Nurse Joy?" Lianna asked curiously. "Hello? Can I help you?" A centaur Nurse Joy has arrived at the Pokémon Center. "Oh! There's a Nurse Joy! Can you heal.up my pals?" Lianna asked Nurse Joy. "Okay! Just give them to me and I'll heal them up." The Nurse Joy replied. Lianna handed over her five Pokéballs. "Eevee, can you climb up there?" Lianna asked her Eevee. Eevee climbed up as well. Nurse Joy then started to heal Lianna's Pokémon. Lianna waits for them. Nurse Joy arrived back with her Pokéballs and Eevee. Eevee jumps to Lianna happily. "Vee!" She replied. "There you are, girl." Lianna replied to her. "Here you are. Your Pokémon are healthy and are in a fighting fit." Nurse Joy replied. Eevee smiled at Lianna. "Thank you." Lianna replied, sitting down with Eevee. Eevee sits onto Lianna's back. Lianna strokes Eevee gently. "Vee!" Eevee replied, wagging her tail. Lianna smiled at her, Eevee smiled back at her. "I will cherish you, always." Lianna replied to her. "Eevee! Eevee!" Eevee chirped, jumping around and around. "I am curious, how was your life before you met me?" Lianna asked. Eevee looked confused, Lianna smiled at Eevee. "Vee." Eevee replied.

Flashback...

"It was a normal day on Route 1, an Eevee was happily eating some berries. Then it saw a Harpy flying over. The Eevee followed, hoping to become friends with the harpy. But she fell over and was surrounded by other Pokémon. The Pokémon scared Eevee away but soon she shrugged it off. She tried to find the Harpy again but got lost and spent a few days alone to fend for herself. Fortunately, she would soon stumble upon a trainer to call her own.

End of Flashback.

Lianna kissed her Eevee on the head. Eevee smiled then noticed something. "Huh?" Lianna asked Eevee curiously. Eevee then jumped off Lianna and ran across the room and looked at a poster. "EEVEE! EEV!" Eevee cried out to Lianna. "A poster?" Lianna asked. "Kanto's champion wins a tournament with his Eevee and Dragonite." The poster read, with the Eevee wearing an outfit with glasses. "Oh! You see a picture of the champion with his own Eevee?" Lianna asked Eevee. "Vee!" Eevee replied, jumping for joy. "Imagine you become a powerful Eevee like his Eevee." Lianna told Eevee. "Eev! Vee!" Eevee replied in excitement. Lianna smiled. "Eve." Eevee smiled and then looked at the Eevee on the poster, then at her tail then at the poster Eevee's tail. "Your tail has a heart shaped marking at the tip." Lianna explained. "Vee." Eevee replied, seeing the Eevee on the poster has a heart shaped on its tail as well. "That's another Eevee with a tail like yours. I think she's a girl as well." Lianna replied. "Vee!" Eevee explained, jumping. "You are very playful." Lianna commented. "Eevee." Eevee replied. Lianna smiled again. "Veee!!!" Eevee called, climbing onto her head. Lianna smiled at her. "I really want to find a Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle." Lianna replied. "Vee? Eevee!" Eevee replied. "Well, I am going to try to train up Bellsprout, Oddish and Goldeen." Lianna replied. "Vee!" Eevee called, climbing down and running out of the Pokémon Center. Lianna followed after her.

"Eevee!" Eevee called, jumping and then running into the nearest route. Lianna followed her then sent out Oddish, Bellsprout and Goldeen. They all come out of their balls. "I am going to train you three up for Brock's gym." Lianna explained. The Pokémon looked ready. "Oddish vs. Bellsprout!" Lianna announced. The Pokémon jump into action. Lianna scanned Bellsprout and Oddish. Bellsprout still only knew Vine Whip and Oddish knew Absorb and Stun Spore. "Oddish, use Absorb and Bellsprout, use Vine Whip!" Lianna called. They attacked each other, but did little damage to one another. "Do those moves again!" Lianna announced.

The Pokémon start to do so, but then Bellsprout does a bit more damage. Then he starts to spit something out of his mouth. "Huh?" Lianna asked in confusion. Bellsprout felt stronger. "What is that?" Lianna asked. The Pokédex beeped. Lianna held up her Pokédex. "Bellsprout learned Acid." The Pokédex read. "Great job!" Lianna said happily. Bellsprout looked happy. Lianna smiled, then Oddish looked jealous. "You okay, Oddish?" Lianna asked Oddish. Oddish then quickly snapped out of it. "Oddish." Oddish replied. Lianna hands her a berry, and she eats it. Lianna smiled. Oddish jumps and looks at Eevee.  "Eevee?" Eevee asked in confusion. "Oddish? Eevee?" Lianna asked the two. Oddish jumped in front of Eevee.

They both looked at each other with battle looks in their eyes. "You two want to battle?" Lianna asked the two of them. The Pokémon agree. "Okay!" Lianna announced, healing up Bellsprout and Oddish. They felt better. "Eevee! Tackle! Oddish, Absorb!" Lianna announced. They both use their moves but Eevee hits first. "Eevee, Growl!" Lianna commanded. Eevee uses it and lowers Oddish's attack stat. "Oddish, Stun Spore!" Lianna instructed. Oddish uses it and Eevee gets paralyzed. "Try to Tackle Oddish!" Lianna commanded. Eevee does so, hitting Oddish. "Good job!" Lianna called happily. "Vee!" Eevee replied. Lianna used a Full Heal on Eevee. Eevee felt better. "There you go. Now, Tackle again!" Lianna commanded. Eevee does so. "Oddish! Absorb!" Lianna shouted to Oddish. Oddish does so and does a lot of damage. "Good job!" Lianna called to Oddish. " Oddish! " Oddish responded. Lianna smiled at Oddish and Oddish smiled back. "Eevee! Tackle! And Oddish, get ready to dodge!" Lianna warned. Eevee charged at Oddish and Oddish gets ready. "Dodge it now!" Lianna shouted. Oddish dodged but trips over and rolls away from the Tackle. "Good job!" Lianna announced. Oddish gets up, feeling a bit dizzy.

"Okay! This is enough training for now!" Lianna announced. The Pokémon stopped. Lianna healed them up. They feel better. "You guys ready to challenge the gym leader?" Lianna asked the group. They agreed. "Okay!" Lianna announced. The Pokémon smiled. Lianna then lead them the way to the city and headed into Pewter City's gym to face Brock!
