Lianna came across a wild Cleffa with a family of Clefairy and Clefable. "Aww... I want to catch that Cleffa, but it has a family..." Lianna said in disappointment. They looked lost. "Eevee?" Eevee asked, looking at them with a worried look. "Hey Clefairy! You look lost? Can I help you?" Lianna asked her. They looked at her as the Clefable prepare to protect their young. "I-I don't want to hurt you!" Lianna called out. They have looks of fear on their faces. Eevee walked up to them and spoke with them, they soon calmed down. "Thanks Eevee." Lianna said. "Vee." Eevee said with a smile. Lianna made a cute face. The Clefable and their young follow Lianna wherever she went through the cave. 

One of the Clefable shown Lianna a picture of a small garden with various Cleffa, Clefairy and other Clefable. Lianna led the group outside of the cave, trying to find the garden. They followed her, looking for the garden. There happened to be some Cleffa could be seen playing in a pond. "Cleffa!" Lianna called out. The Cleffa from the family runs to the Cleffa. Eevee followed them. Lianna prepared to follow them too, but then the ground opened up, revealing a trap hole. 

"Gah! Help!" Lianna cried out. "HA! Why should we? You lead us to all these Pokémon!" A voice called out. "Who said that?!" Lianna asked. "We did." A second voice said, two people were dressed as ninjas appeared. "We're here to catch these Pokémon for profit, and thanks to you, we're going to be rich!" One of the ninjas called out. "No! I won't let you!" Lianna called, jumping up incredibly high. "What the?" One of the ninjas asked. Lianna jumped out of the pit. "You're not going to stop us." One of the ninjas said. 

"Eevee, Hyper Beam these ninjas!" Lianna called out. Eevee does so, but a Poliwrath used Protect to defend the Hyper Beam. "Gah!" Lianna cried out, sending out Horsea and Charmeleon. "Attack these fiends! Protect the Clefable, Clefairy and Cleffa!" Lianna ordered. Eevee looked shock and the other Pokémon are nervous to strike, due to the fear of hitting the fairies. Lianna tried to move the Clefable, Clefairy and Cleffa to a safer location. "Somebody help me! I am in serious trouble!" Lianna cried out. "Go Fearow!" A voice called out, as a Fearow and the Harpy from before show up. "Thank goodness someone is here to help me out! We have to save these Pokémon!" Lianna called out. 

"I know. What Pokémon are you using?" The Harpy asked. "Eevee, Charmeleon and Horsea." Lianna replied. "Those three? Okay. Let's go, Fearow!" The Harpy called out. The Fearow flew into action. Both ninjas had their Pokémon sent out, the Poliwrath and a Crobat. "Eevee, Iron Tail! Charmeleon, Dragon Rage! Horsea, Scald!" Lianna ordered. The Pokémon use their moves. "Poliwrath, grab Eevee with Circle Throw!" The first ninja ordered. Crobat used Sludge Bomb, "Fearow, Drill Peck on Crobat!" The Harpy ordered. Poliwrath grabbed Eevee and threw her into the Dragon Rage and the Scald, taking massive damage. Fearow hit Crobat with a Drill Peck. "Eevee! Hyper Beam! Charmeleon, use Ember! Horsea, use Scald again!" Lianna ordered. They used their moves. "Hyper Beam!" The ninjas called out at once. "Fearow, Fly!" The Harpy called out. Fearow flew up high and the attacks below clashed into a big explosion. 

Lianna coughed as the smoke cleared. Lianna's Pokémon were lying down. "Guys!" Lianna cried out in worry. They slowly got up, then suddenly. It happened. Lianna's golden Charmeleon started to glow and change shape. Charmeleon was evolving. "C-Charmeleon?! You're evolving!" Lianna called out in joy. Everyone watched as Lianna's shiny, golden Charmeleon evolved into a shiny black Charizard. Lianna looked at him in awe. "CHARMELEON HAS EVOLVED INTO A BLACK CHARIZARD!" Lianna called out with a wide smile. Charizard roared and breathed fire. "Toast those ninjas!" Lianna called out. Charizard did so by punching the ground and then fire traveled towards them, the ninjas and their Pokemon were blasted off into orbit. Charizard learned Blast Burn. 

"Wow! That is amazing!" Lianna said with a smile. Charizard smiled and the other Pokémon cheered. "Nice going bunny. Your Pokémon evolved in your time of need. You must be good friends with it." The Harpy said. "Yeah. He is a special one. You saved the Clefable and their young ones!" Lianna called out, running up to Charizard and hugging him. Charizard was happy. The Clefable and the others cheer for them all. "This calls for some Poképuffs!" Lianna called out, setting up a table with Poképuffs for all the Pokémon. "How many are you going to make?" The Harpy asked. "There is plenty for my pals, your pals and the family of Clefable and their young." Lianna said with a smile. 

"Really? Thanks bunny." The Harpy said, sending out his other pals which include his own Clefairy, a Mr.Mime, Staravia and Swablu. "My name is Lianna, what's yours?" Lianna asked. "My name is Tim. A harpy aiming to be the best." Tim introduced himself. "Can I register you into my Pokénav?" Lianna asked. "Err, sure." He said, giving her his Pokénav. Lianna quickly registers him. "Thank you." He said. "You're welcome." Lianna said, watching the Pokémon eat. "I want to catch a Cleffa here, but they belong with their family..." Lianna said. "Yes, but there are no wild Cleffa in Mt.Moon." Tim said. "But those Cleffa." Lianna said. "They were born to be with Clefable." Tim said. "Yeah... maybe I can get one later... when they finish eating, we are going to leave. I have to evolve a bunch of my Pokémon..." Lianna said. 

"Oh really? How many is a bunch?" Tim asked. "Hmmm.... there is Horsea, Mankey, Venonat, Spearow, Rattata, Goldeen, Nidorina..." Lianna listed off. "Wow. That's a lot." Tim replied. "Yeah..." Lianna said. Tim then laughed and Lianna made a cute face. After a while the Pokémon finish their food. "I guess this is farewell for now, Tim." Lianna said. "Goodbye bunny." Tim said. 

Lianna then headed back to Vermilion City to prepare her team before she would head off to Lavender Town.
