Our heroes were now looking around the power plant, Jacob as able to find TMs for the moves thunder, zap cannon and charged beam. Just then a bunch of electricity began to appear on a platform which then revealed zapdos

Zapdos: male

Jacob and articuno went up to him

Jacob and articuno: zapdos

Zapdos looked down and saw them

Zapdos: Jacob, articuno what are you guys doing here

Jacob: we came for you

Zapdos: really, what for

Jacob: we want you to join my team

Zapdos: team

Articuno: yeah he's catching Pokémon now, I'm on his team as well

Zapdos: well it does sound intriguing but I think I'll need to see if your worthy enough for me

Jacob: I'm guessing you want to challenge me like old days

Zapdos: thats right

Jacob: fine by me, it's fighting time

Small Timeskip

Jacob and zapdos were getting ready while the others watched, Jacob summoned his wings as he and zapdos began to fly upwards

Jacob: you ready zapdos

Zapdos: yep

Jacob: let's do this

Zapdos began to use thunder, his body became surrounded by electricity as he then fired a massive yellow beam of electricity at Jacob,  but Jacob dodge it. Zapdos then used thunder repeatedly but Jacob dodged each one as he flew towards zapdos.

Jacob: take this, ice punch

Jacob pulled back one of its fists, which is was then surrounded by swirling energy which changed from white to light blue like this

Jacob then punched zapdos which did some damage but no enough

Zapdos: alright, take this

Zapdos used zap cannon, he released a yellow orb with a red center in front of his mouth and fires it at Jacob. The attack hit Jacob in the chest and sent him crashing to the ground. Jacob got back up and shook it off

Jacob: ugh, you've been training have you

Zapdos: yep, now have another zap cannon

Zapdos launched another zap cannon

Jacob: oh no you don't, rock wrecker

Jacob put his hands together, and small chunks of gray stones come out of Jacob's hands and formed together into a large gray rock that is outlined in red. The red outline then faded as Jacob threw the rock at the zap cannon like this.

The rock wrecker was able to counter the zap cannon

Jaraja:(Jacob's mind) zapdos is too comfortable in the air, try a different approach, get him to ground level

Jacob:(mind) got it

Zapdos: it's no use Jacob, I'm too powerful in the air

Jacob: maybe, but lets see you fight on the ground, smack down

Jacob opened his mouth and a metallic gold orb of energy that is surrounded in orange energy appears in front of his mouth. Jacob then fired the orb at zapdos like this

When the orb hit zapdos, it exploded, causing him to fall to the ground

Zapdos: uhh okay, that hurt

Jacob: now lets see how strong you are now, drill run

Jacob rotated his body like a drill as he charged towards zapdos. Jacob hit zapdos in the chest causing major damage

Jacob: bone rush

Jacob formed a long blue bone made out of energy like this

He then began to whacked zapdos multiple time with his bone, Jacob then jumped back as he looked at the weaken zapdos

Jacob: time to finish this, stone force

Jacobs body became surrounded in white. The white energy then comes off Jacob's body and formed into two rings of white pointed energy orbs that orbit around his body. The white light then faded around the orbs and then formed into multiple gray rocks. Jacob then fires the rocks at zapdos like this

Zapdos: oh zaps

Zapdos was then hit with a ton of rock like this

Zapdos then fell down defeated. Jacob's team then cheered. Jacob then walked up to zapdos and healed him, once zapdos was fully healed he stood back up

Zapdos: well looks you won again Jacob

Jacob: yep, welcome to the team zapdos

Jacob then caught zapdos
