Our heroes now see mauville city up ahead!

Jacob: That's mauville city? Do people consider one building a city these days?

Brock:Well since it's more of a building maybe they've got all the places in one so it would be easier for everything to be located better?

Jacob: Well it does look pretty big, it must have everything in there, including its own gym.

Jessie:Well what are we waiting for and let's get this show on the road!

Jacob: Let's go!

Timeskip

The group was now in the city, while there was able to by tms for the moves venoshock, low sweep, bulldoze and power-up punch, right now he was doing some last minute training with marshtomp, combusken, grovyle and heracross

Jacob: c'mon guys we gotta get ready for this battle,alright!

Meowth:Cool your roll We're gonna make it but you need to calm down on the enthusiasm.

Jacob: Hey I gotta be ready for anything man, training is very important for my team.

James: Well, what are we waiting for? We need to get there before it closes or something else happens!

Jaraja: There it is!

They were right in front of the gym, there were two entrances, one for the challenger and the other for those who want to watch

Jacob: Well I guess this is where we part ways for a bit.

May:Good luck we're gonna get ready to start cheering.

They then all went in to their respective doors

Timeskip

Jacob was inside the gym with grovyle, heracross, combusken and marshtomp

Jacob: electric barriers, that's a new one.

jaraja:Alright good luck on the way in and stuff i'm going to take a break.

Jaraja then went to join the others

Jacob: Well I guess it's just us 5, we gotta get rid of these barriers, maybe there's a switch nearby, see if you can find one .

They both went looking for, jacob then found a red one and pushed it as the red electric barrier disappeared

Jacob: alright one down, one to go.

Marshtomp found the other one and pressed it as the blue fence went down

Jacob: Alright let's go.

After finishing the puzzle, jacob then encountered Wattson

Wattson

Wattson: I've given up on my plans to convert the city I have. And so, I put my time into making door traps in my Gym.

Jacob: yeah I saw, I managed to get through them

Wattson:You say you've gotten past all my rigged doors? Wahahaha! Now, that is amusing! Then, I, Wattson, the Leader of Mauville Gym, you must be jacob jackson

Jacob: That's right, the one and only, impressive electric traps you got back there.

wattson:Why thank you Now let's get this talking into fighting!

Jacob: You betcha it's fighting time!

The battle began wattson summoned voltorb while jacob chose marshtomp

Jacob: Let's get this started, marshtomp use mud shot!

Marshomp fired multiple balls of mud from his mouth at voltorb

Wattson:Come on out voltorb and use rollout!

Voltorb used rollout as it rollout away from the mud at high speed once its done rolling voltorb got ready

Jacob: nice, but it won't be enough, let's go marshtomp.

Marshtomp ran towards voltorb

Wattson: voltorb use screech!

Voltorb's body glowed blue as it released sound waves from its body that distorted the air around it

Marshtomp stopped and covered his ears

Marshtomp: GODDAMN IT!

Jacob: marshtomp fight back with supersonic!

Marshtomp released several blue sound waves from his mouth as the screech and supersonic collided, as the exploded on impact creating a smokescreen

Jacob:(mind) perfect, marshtomp, head into the smoke.

Marshtomp jumped in as watson tried looking for him

Wattson:Gosh this smoke is quite a problem.

Jacob: marshtomp use iron tail!

Marshtomp jumped out of the smoke which surprised voltorb as he struck him with iron tail which defeated him, meanwhile the others were watching the battle as they say voltorb being defeated

cheer squad:Yeah go Jacob Go!

Wattson called back voltorb and surprising jacob called back marshtomp

Jacob: You did good marshtomp take a break.

Marshtomp: got it!

Brock:Well that's one of wattson's pokemon now to the next!

Jacob: alright wattson, i'll make this fight more interesting by not using a ground type, i like to see people bring out their best.

Wattson:What confidence I like it!Now then Time for you magnemite!

Jacob: alright combusken, time to turn up the heat.

Combusken got on the battlefield

Wattson:Use swift quickly!

Magnemite released blue stars from its body at combusken

Jacob: Combusken use flame burst!

Combusken created multiple small fireballs and through them at the stars destroying them

wattson:Now Magnemite uses sonic boom!

Magnemite spun rapidly around as he sent a large white shock wave at combusken

Combusken took the hit head on

Jacob: woah you okay there combusken!

Combusken:I'm good, God that left some after ringing!

Jacob: just hang in there buddy, use sky uppercut.

Combusken:Got it!*rushes him quickly*

Combusken rushed in as his claws glow light blue as he uppercutted magnemite

wattson:Magnemite hangs in there and releases a thunder wave!

Magnemite released light blue electricity from its body at combusken

That attack combusken as he fell to the ground and got paralyzed

Jacob: combusken!

Combusken:(paralyzed) Crap!

wattson:You got it Now use thunder!

Magnemite's eye glows red as its magnets become surrounded in yellow static. It then released a powerful blast of yellow electricity from its body at combusken

The attack struck combusken as he took a lot of damage

Combusken: GAHHHH!

Jacob: cmon combusken, you can fight this, cmon, fight!

Combusken:Alright Cmon stupid claws Lets get back to WORKING!*he suddenly release a bunch of thunder particles and began to move freely again*

This shocked everyone but jacob

Jacob: alright let's go, overheat now!

Combusken's body turns a shade of red as it releases a ball of white fire with a red-orange flame spiraling around it at magnemite

The attack engulfed magnemite

wattson:OH NO MAGNEMITE!

Magnemite then fell to the ground knocked out

Jacob: alright, way to go combusken!

Combusken: haha yeah!

wattson:Alright you did good magnemite now then Cmon out magneton!

Wattson summoned magneton

Jacob: Alright combusken, take a break.

Combusken: alright!

Jacob: alright Grovyle you're up!

Grovyle: I'm on it!

Grovyle got on the battlefield

Jacob: alright Grovyle use leaf blade!

The three leaves on both of Grovyle's forearms glow white or green and combine into one long sharp blade

Wattson: alright magneton Use double team and surround him!

Magneton used double team right before the leaf blade could hit as it created multiple clones of himself and surrounded Grovyle

Jacob: nice trick, but i got just the thing for this, grovyle use leaf storm!

Grovyle:got it!

Grovyle jumps into the air and multiple green leaves start spinning around his body. Grovyle then fired the leaves at the magnetons

The leaf storm took out the clones and struck the real magneton

Jacob: got him, now use brick break!

Grovyle's hand glowed blushing white as he punched magneton doing some damage

wattson:Alright keep it together magneton! Now use the zap cannon!

Magneton released a large blast of white electricity from each of its magnets at grovyle

The attack then struck grovyle doing some damage to him

Jacob: Grovyle! You okay?

Grovyle:(sarcastic)Yeah I'm just dandy.

Jacob: Just hang in there.

Wattson:alright Now go for a direct Thunder wave!

Magneton released blue bolts of electricity from the ends of the magnets on its body. The electricity curves around and ties around grovyle, preventing him from moving

Grovyle:(mind)Crap Gotta get free,brain status report!

Jaraja:(Jacob's mind) Jacob, grovyle can't move, try to use a move that doesn't involve movement.

Jacob:(mind) got it (outloud) grovyle, break magneton's concentration with bullet seed.

Grovyle:OH got it!*begins to unleash rapid bullet seeds*

Grovyle launched a bullet seed attack at magneton causing it to loose it's concentration and got rid off the thunder wave

Grovyle:AHA TIME TO DO THE THING!

jacob: alright, energy ball

Grovyle:YEAH!

Grovyle put his hands together and formed a green ball of energy in between them. Grovyle then brought his hands forward and fired the ball at magneton

Wattson:Now then use electro ball!

Magneton's body becomes surrounded in yellow electricity and multiple yellow sparks come off Magneton's body. All the electricity then condenses in the middle of Magneton's body and forms into an orange-yellow orb of electricity with sparks of yellow electricity coming off it. Magneton then fired the orb of electricity at grovyle

Both attacks collided and blew up creating a cloud of smoke in the middle of the battlefield

Jacob:(mind) I can use this smoke again as cover (ouloud) grovyle run inside the smoke and jump from inside!

Grovyle:Got it!

Grovyle ran inside the smoke cloud

Wattson:Hm,What's this boy planning!

Grovyle jumped out from it as wattson saw him in the air as he was falling towards magneton.

Wattson:Oh shoot,magneton use flash cannon into the air toward grovyle!

A white orb of energy with light blue energy formed in front of Magneton's body, it then fired a white beam of energy with light blue energy from it at grovyle

Jacob: grovyle sliced through it with leaf blade

Grovyle Proceeds to go toward the beam with leaf blade as he sliced through the flash cannon

This shocked everyone but jacob

Jacob's group:What the!

Wattson:No way!

Grovyle then cut through the whole flash cannon and struck magneton knocking him out

Jacob: alright great job grovyle!

Jacob then called him back

It seems like Jacob's grovyle had beaten magneton! Now what will Jacob have in store for wattson find out next time on pokeking of the multiverse!
