Jacob was now doing some last minute training with treecko and mudkip

Jacob: alright guys are you ready for this

Treecko: heck yeah I am, i'm so excited I can barely contain myself

He then grabbed mudkip and spun him around

Mudkip:(spinning) woah woah woah pls stop treecko

Treecko:(stopped spinning) sorry

Mudkip(dizzy) it's okay

Jacob: hehe you okay mudkip

Mudkip:(shaking his head) yeah im okay, im also glad that you choose me as well

Jacob: anytime buddy

Meanwhile the others we're watching them train

May: wow, he's good

Max: of course he is

Brock: he does this a lot back home

Timeskip

As our heroes was eating, they discussed about the upcoming gym battle

Brock: you ready for this jacob, Roxxane's pokemon are pretty tough

Jacob: don't worry, I can handle it

Max: and you may, what's your strategy gonna be for this battle May?

May:I think i'll pass

The others except jacob: You'll pass!?

May: That's what i decided

Max: Your gonna past after coming al this way, that's weird

Brock: Yeah, why would you do that?

May: Because i want  to become a Pokemon Coordinator like Janet and Jacob remember?

Max: But why would you miss out on this chance when you're already a Pokemon trainer?

May: Well to tell you the truth Max, i never really wanted to be a Pokemon trainer, i really wanted to do is get out and travel and see different place, being a trainer was the perfect excuse to be able to do all of that

Max: No way

May: And to be perfectly honest I never really liked Pokemon, now I really love them . Torchic, Wurmple and the others. So I'm glad I went through all that and became a trainer  cause it helped me appreciate Pokemon. When I first saw a Pokemon contest, I knew it was for me right away. You see those Pokemon was cute and strong, that's the kind of Pokemon i want, the kind that will take your breath away

Jacob: well may if you want to do that then go ahead

Brock: yeah' we'll help you with whatever you need to become an awesome pokemon coordinator

May: thanks guys

Max: you know it's not gonna be a very easy job being a pokemon coordinator and stuff

May: oh max I know that, thats why im gonna work as hard as I can, your behind me too aren't you

Timeskip

The team were now in front of the rustboro gym

Brock: so this is the rustboro gym

May: this is Roxanne gym

Max: it's nothing like the petalburg gym that's for sure

Jacob: look like this place isn't only a gym, look

He saw a sign that said rustboro gym and museum

Jacob: it's a museum to

Max: yep, definitely not like the gym back home

Jacob: let's go check it out

They all went inside

Small timeskip

Our team were now in the rustboro gym

Right now the team were looking at the fossils

Jacob: there are a lot of fossils here, (seeing the gym entrance) there the entrance to the gym

They were now looking at the battlefield

Jacob: here we are guys

Brock: wow, this place has a good battlefield for rock type pokemon

Roxanne: jacob

Jacob then saw Roxanne walking towards them

Jacob: Roxanne

Roxanne: i'm glad you could make it here today

Jacob: wouldn't miss it for the world

Roxanne: so will may also be challenging me today

May: well actually...

May was explaining to her how she wanted to become a pokemon coordinator

Roxanne: so you decided to become a pokemon coordinator instead may

May: yes

Roxanne: people choose different way of interacting with pokemon, good luck with your choice

Roxanne: jacob, are you all set

Jacob: yep, it's fighting time

Timeskip

The battle began both jacob and Roxanne were on the battlefield while the others we're watching on the bleachers

Max: I wonder what Jacob's strategy is

May: you love this don't you

Max: I sure do, it's the first real gym battle that I have ever seen, and It has my favorite trainer battling

Brock: didn't you ever get to watch your dad battle at the petalburg gym?

Max: nope, he didn't want to mess up the challengers concentration so he never let us watch em

Roxanne: you ready jacob?

Jacob: ready when you are Roxanne

Roxanne: alright let's begin

Roxanne summoned her first pokemon geodude

Jacob: alright treecko, show em what you got

Jacob summoned treecko

Treecko: oh yeah

Jacob: alright treecko use quick attack

Treecko: got it

Roxanne: stop it geodude

Both geodude and treecko's fists collided as they got into a stand still

Jacob: perfect, now use bullet seed

Treecko shot out multiple golden seeds surrounded in a light green aura from its mouth at the geodude at a high velocity

The attack hit geodude and cause it to back off

Roxanne: geodude use mega punch

Geodude's fist glows white as he punched treecko into the air

Roxanne: bad choice jacob, geodude is too tough for close combat 

Jacob: maybe, but that doesn't mean it's invincible, treecko fight back with pound

While treecko was in the air, he suddenly fell back down and slammed geodude with his tail

Jacob: haha nice work treecko

Geodude then got back up

Roxanne: geodude use rollout

Jacob: treecko jump

Treecko jump up but geodude did the same

Roxanne: got cha

Jacob: not for long

Roxanne: huh?

Jacob: treecko use leech seed

Treecko fires multiple seeds from its mouth into the ground. The seed immediately grows into vines that latched on geodude and sent him to the ground as it drained his energy.

Roxanne: geodude!

Geodude was now stuck and couldn't break free

Jacob: ha you fell right for my trap, now your geodude is open, treecko use agility

Treecko ran towards Geodude with great speed.

Treecko began to run around geodude in a circle at high speed, Roxanne was having trouble keeping up

Roxanne:(mind) I can't keep up, he's too fast

Jacob: now use bullet seed repeatedly

While running treecko launch a barrage of bullet seeds at geodude, the attack were doing a ton of damage

Roxanne: geodude!

After taking a bunch of attacks, geodude got knocked out

Jacob: alright great job treecko

Roxanne: I still have one last pokemon

Roxanne summoned her best pokemon, nosepass

Jacob: a nosepass, interesting

Jacob then called back treecko

Jacob: alright mudkip, your time to shine

Jacob summoned mudkip

Mudkip: yay im up

Roxanne: big mistake jacob, nosepass use sandstorm

Nosepass's nose glows light blue as a sandstorm whipped up

Jacob and mudkip were now trapped in a sandstorm

Jacob: mudkip, dig your way out with dig

Mudkip dug underground and suddenly emerged in front of nosepass

Roxanne: what!

Jacob: use water gun

The attack struck nosepass but nosepass stood his ground

Roxanne: it's gonna take more than that to defeat nosepass, nosepass use thunder wave

Nosepass's body becomes surrounded by blue electricity and it fires static shock waves at mudkip

Jacob: mudkip!

Mudkip was now paralyzed and couldn't move

Mudkip(parylyzed) I...can't...move

Roxanne:now use zap cannon

Nosepass's nose glows yellow and it fires a massive blast of yellow electricity from it at mudkip

Mudkip: oh no

The attack struck mudkip and sent him through 3 stone pillars, mudkip was now badly damaged

Jacob: mudkip!

Mukip was now struggling to get back up

Roxanne: now let's finish this with rock throw

Nosepass hurls multiple boulders from around its body towards mudkip

Jacob: come on mudkip get up, you can do it buddy, don't give up

Mudkip:(slowly getting up) your right I can and I will

Just when he was about to get crushed mudkip caught the rock and began to glow

Roxanne: huh?

The others: what the?

Mudkip began to evolve as he crushed the rock

Marshtomp: male

Marshtomp: Marshtomp!

Jacob: woah buddy you evolved

Marshtomp: yeah, and I don't feel paraylzed anymore

Jacob: you must have healed yourself when you evolved, you ready to finish this

Marshtomp: oh yeah, let's do this

Roxanne: nosepass use rock tomb

Nosepass jumped into the air and landed on the ground. When it landed, giant rocks protrude from the ground and surrounded Marshtomp

Jacob: Marshtomp, break out with iron tail

Marshtomp's two tail fins glow white and he struck the rocks with them

The attack cut the top part of the tomb clean off as marsh op jumped out

Jacob: now use mud shot

Marshomp fired out multiple balls of mud from his mouth at nosepass

The attack struck nosepass and did major damage to him

Roxanne: nosepass!

Jacob: keep going marshtomp, use mud slap

Marshomp slapped the ground with his feet which caused a wave of mud to shoot out of the ground and hit nosepass

Jacob: time to finish this, marshtomp use earthquake

Marshtomp slammed both of its open-palmed hands against the ground which created a powerful earthquake that shook the entire battlefield, nosepass was having trouble standing up

Jacob: now use iron tail

Marshtomp ran up to nosepass and struck him hard with iron tail, the attack sent him throw a rock pillar and knocked him out

Jacob: YES WE DID IT!

Marshtomp then ran up to jacob and hugged him

Jacob: great job buddy!

Marshtomp: thank you

Roxanne: congratulations jacob, you won, you may here recive the stone badge

Roxanne handed him the stone badge

Jacob: thanks roxanne

Roxanne: I also would like to give you this

Roxanne then suddenly kissed him

May: AGAIN!

Jacob: you love me do you

Roxanne:(blushing) yes, I couldn't help myself, you so cute and smart your the perfect guy for me

Jacob just smiled and kissed her back

Jacob: welcome to the harem roxanne
