Right now they were gazing over the city through it's observation tower

Jacob: nice view

The rest of the team agreed. Jaraja then pulled out a map of the city

Jaraja: alright, based on this map here, the gym should be close

Jacob: great

Just then jacob and max heard something

Jacob: huh?

Max: hey look

The group as a poliwag hiding under a bench, jacob and max walked up to it

Max: hi there

The poliwag stepped back out of fear

Jacob: I think it's scared

Max: yeah, hey it's okay little guy, If there's something wrong with you, then maybe we can help, 'kay?

The poliwag slowly came out

Jacob: well what do you know

Max: Hey there. Are you lost, Poliwag?

Jacob then noticed something on its tail

Jacob: hey what's that on its tail

Max: huh (noticing it) what is it? Some kind of symbol?

Jacob: beats me

???: poliwag!

Jacob: huh?

Just then this girl ran up to them

Roxanne

Roxanne: Oh, good. I've been looking all over for you.

Poliwag was happy to see her as it jumped into her arms

Roxanne: I was so worried. (to Max) Did you find it?

Jacob: we did actually

Roxanne saw jacob and blushed a bit

Roxanne:(mind) wow he's cute (out loud) I can't thank you enough

???: Miss Roxanne

2 boys and 2 girls appeared with their Pokémon

Kenny

Anita

Tommy

Tommy: You found Poliwag! Alright!

Anita: That's so great.

Jacob and max then noticed a kid with blue hair looking shy and remorseful

Jacob and max: hmm

Anita: (to kenny) See? Everything's okay.

Tommy: Except our class trip is ruined, and poor Poliwag is scared completely out of its mind.

Kenny: I'm sorry.

Anita: Do you have to be so mean?

Tommy: What do you care?

Anita: You know Kenny's afraid of touching Pokemon. So leave him alone!

Roxanne: Alright. That's enough, you two.

Anita and Tommy:Hmm! Fine!

Roxanne: Now, Kenny, I hope that you have learned something from all of this.

Kenny: Yes.

Roxanne: There's no need to be afraid. And don't be upset either, because you tried your hardest. Okay, class, it's time for us to head back to the Training Academy.

Kids: Okay!

Jacob: Excuse me, did you say training academy?

Roxanne: It's officially known as the Pokemon Trainers School.

Jacob: interesting, tell me more

Roxanne: It's an academy right here in town where students can learn all about the world of Pokemon.

Max: wow

Jacob: I like the sound of that

Roxanne: These children are students in my beginners' class. We're here on a field trip, but it's just about time for us to be heading back now.

Jacob: I see

Just then Roxanne realized something

Roxanne: wait a minute I recognize you, your jacob Jackson

Jacob: that's me

Roxanne: wow, I'm a big fan, my names Roxanne

Jacob: nice to meet you Roxanne

Anita: miss Roxanne do you know him

Roxanne: of course, this guy is the one and only have half Pokémon human

Jacob: that's right

The kids were surprised and amazed

Anita: it's nice to meet you sir

Jacob: oh pls call me jacob and the pleasure is all mine kids, I must say Roxanne this school your talking about sounds interesting

Max: yeah I want to go to that Pokemon Academy too! Can I go may?

May: I don't know. Why don't we think about it?

Jacob: think about it, may what's to think, max can learn a lot about Pokémon from this school maybe even you can learn as well

May: but what about your gym battle?

Jacob: that can wait may, I want to check out this academy

Max: me too

Roxanne: Wait, are you here for a battle at the Rustboro Gym?

Jacob: yep

Roxanne: Well, that works out just perfectly. The Rustboro Gym happens to be right next door to our Training Academy.

Jacob: well what do you know

Roxanne: yeah, So why don't you all stop by and visit the school before you head off to your gym battle?

Jacob: sure, lead the way Roxanne

Timeskip

Our heroes were now at the pokemon trainers' school

Right now the team was getting a tour by the headmaster of the school

Headmaster: you know I never thought that I would have the chance to meet the half human half Pokémon hero

Jacob: pleasure is all mine sir

Headmaster:(to may and max) So I hear your mom and dad run the Petalburg Gym, right?

May and max: yep

Headmaster: would you folks like to observe the classrooms

Jacob: I love to

Headmaster: wonderful

He opened a door to one of the school's classes

Headmaster: This classroom has students training to be Pokemon doctors.

Brock: Pokemon doctors?

Jacob: interesting

They then went to to another class where we find students and Pokemon doing some stretches

Headmaster: A specialized class training for Pokemon contests

May: (awestruck) This class is for me!

May saw a trainer training a sneasel

May: (awestruck) Where can I sign up?!

Small timeskip

They were now in a room where they saw two Pokémon wrestling

Headmaster: And this class specializes in Pokemon battles.

Max: Excuse me, but could we please go to Miss Roxanne's beginners' class now?

Jacob: yeah I would also like to check it out

Headmaster: ah yes of course, this way

Small timeskip

Our heroes opened the door to Roxanne classroom

Headmaster: Here we are. This is Miss Roxanne's classroom

Max was excited for this, they went inside and saw a man known as Professor Oak talking on a big screen

Professor Oak

Professor Oak: So in conclusion....

Max: (gasps surprised)

Professor Oak: There are many different types of Pokemon in existence. Is that clear?

Kids: Yes, Professor!

Max: that's professor oak

Jacob: oak? Wait a minute

Jacob then walked up

Jacob: Um hi there, your names professor oak right?

Professor oak: yes

Jacob: are you related to a guy named Gary oak

Professor oak: yes, he's my grandson, wait a minute I know you, your jacob Jackson

Jacob: yep

Professor oak: Yes my grandson told me about you, I never thought I would ever meet a half human half Pokémon being

Jacob: well it's a pleasure to meet you to sir, and these are my friends

The all said hi but max was a bit nervous

Jacob: hehe this is max, he's a bit nervous

Professor Oak: (chuckles) It's fine.

Roxanne: You see, everyone, here at the Training Academy, we receive lectures from Professor Oak via videophone

Professor Oak: Since you're here jacob, I've assumed you battled the gym leader already

Jacob: not yet actually I was on my way but I encountered Roxanne

Professor oak: I see, well you should oughta know that Roxanne is actually the gym leader

Jacob: really!

Roxanne: yep

Headmaster: Roxanne is one of the most accomplished students to ever graduate from this Academy. Her battles were always flawless, and she was quickly promoted to Gym Leader.

Jacob: I see

Roxanne: Well, thank you jacob. But I'll be teaching this class until tomorrow night, so would you mind if we put off our gym battle until the day after?

Jacob: sure

Headmaster: say why don't you say a few to the students

The students agree

Jacob: okay I don't see why not

Jacob then got in front of the class

Jacob: hello there students, I must say that it is an honor for me to be here today, kids I am one of kind, I am the son of the alpha Pokémon arceus, I have seen many Pokémon throughout my entire life, learning things even you guys didn't know about, pokemon are fascinating, they created the world we live in today, we have coexist with each other since the beginning and have formed a bond that has become unbreakable, it is that bond that kept us going, it inspired us to do many things and we thought we would never accomplish, take a look around students all of this would never have existed if it weren't for that pokemon, even today we still have a lot to learn about Pokémon, even I do, there will always be something you can learn about Pokémon, you just have to go out there and find it, we both can benefit each other in many ways, we learn about each other, we live with each other, we fight for each other, we do everything together, so remember this kids, no matter what happens, never give up on your Pokémon, you stay together no matter what

Every cheered for him

Roxanne:(mind) wow, he's so inspiring, I can't believe it, I think I'm in love

Professor oak: that was a wonderful speech jacob, well good luck on you battle

Max: wait professor

Professor oak: hmm

Max: I just wanted to say I've read all your books and watched you on TV and listened to your radio show and read your papers. I'm just really, really a big fan of yours.

Professor Oak: Well, I'm very honored. Thank you, Max. Bye, now. (hangs up)

Max: (gasps) Oh!

Tommy: Hey you two

Jacob and max: yeah

Tommy: you two seem to know a lot about Pokémon, you think you can tell me what types of attacks are most effective against Flying Pokemon?

Max: That's easy. Thunder, Thunderbolt, and other Electric attacks like those ones.

Jacob: rock and ice type moves also work well against flying type

Tommy: Okay! What attacks would work on Pokemon that used Dig to go underground?

Max: Also easy. Earthquake attack or Magnitude would both work.

Tommy: Humph! So you two do know some stuff about Pokemon! Big deal!

Roxanne: Okay.

Tommy: Huh?

Roxanne: That's enough of that, Tommy.

Tommy: Hey, I was just asking.

Roxanne: Tommy, you students are not in this class to compete with one another but to learn and grow together as friends.

Jacob: she's right you know

Headmaster: And it's important to remember our school motto: "Go forth together with me, friend." And that's what we like to practice. Why don't you two come back again tomorrow? Join us for a full day, and you'll learn more about our school.

Max: Wow! Really?! You wanna come with me jacob

Jacob: sure

Max: alright! Maybe you should try and come with me, May. It wouldn't hurt to get a little studying in before your gym battle.

May: Uh...(nervous) Gym battle? (Mind) I have to find a way out of that.

Our heroes were now in a room full of pokeballs

Jacob: wow, there are a lot of pokeballs here

May: There must be hundreds of Pokeballs here!

Headmaster: All of the academy's Pokemon are right here in this vault.

Max: Can I ask a question?

Roxanne: Of course, Max.

Max: So I thought that Pokemon are trained to obey only one Trainer and nobody else. Isn't that right?

Roxanne: Well, usually they are. But the Pokemon here have been specially trained so they'll obey anyone at the Academy who chooses to battle with them.

Max: So you're saying that would even do what I told them to do?!

Roxanne: I'll answer that question tomorrow.

Jacob: okay, see you tomorrow then

Timeskip

The next day, we find jacob and max in Roxanne's class, while the other kids chattering with each other, jacob and Max were reading a book smiling while the others were watching from a window

Brock: Class hasn't even started, and Max is already studying.

May: (chuckles)

With jacob and max

Jacob: I must say max I admire how much you like to learn about Pokémon

Max: thanks

Just then a girl with red hair walked up to them

Anita: (sits next to Max) Hi, there. What book are you reading?

Max: Just a guidebook about Pokemon. And you're....

Anita: Anita.

Jacob: nice to meet you Anita, names jacob

Max: And my name's Max. You're so lucky! I wish I lived somewhere like Rustboro City that had a Pokemon Academy.

Anita: Hmm... I'm really not as lucky as you think

Jacob: what do you mean

Anita: Because I don't care about Pokemon. The only reason I'm here is because my parents make me attend.

Jacob: seriously

Max: You're kidding

Anita: And Kenny feels the same way. He's so afraid of Pokemon, he doesn't want to touch them, but adults say that you should start getting used to them when you're still young. But what do they know anyway?

Max: Yeah

Jacob: true

Just then a kid named tommy spoke to max

Tommy : New kid!

Jacob, Max and Anita: Huh?

Tommy went up to max

Tommy: Today we'll finish up what we started yesterday. Hphm!

Tommy then walked away

Jacob: geez what's his problem?

Anita: His name is Tommy. I don't like him. He thinks he knows it all. But yesterday when you two were here, it was my favorite day in class ever. It was funny watching him get so mad 'cause you guys were able to answer all his stupid questions.

Jacob laughed a bit, Roxanne then showed up

Roxanne: Good morning, class.

All kids: Good morning, Miss Roxanne!

Roxanne: Welcome. We have a lot to go over today.

Small timeskip

We now see the kids playing with some Pokémon

Roxanne: Give our Pokemon a warm welcome, and make sure you're aware of how they feel as you interact with them.

Jacob and Brock were watching

Jacob: say where's may?

Brock: Don't know.

Somewhere else in the school

May was watching some Pokémon perform

Teacher: This is the Pokemon Contest Class. As you can see, Pokemon and their Trainers must work as a team.

Back to Roxanne's room

Roxanne: Jacob, Brock, It would be a real honor for my students if they could meet all of your Pokemon.

Jacob: sure thing, come on out guys

Heracross, Lanturn, octillery, celebi, bellossom and corphish appeared, Brock summoned his Forretress and lotad, unfortunately lotad was asleep

Jacob: uhh is he sleeping?

Brock: Lotad, you think you could wake up?

Lotad opened one of his eyes but just went right back to sleep, Brock fell down in embarrassment while the kids laughed

Jacob: well there goes your first impression Brock

Roxanne: That's enough. Now, did you know that jacob Jackson here is a very skilled trainer

Jacob: that's right, I'm the champion of both kanto and johto

Roxanne: also Brock here used to be the Gym Leader of the Pewter City Gym? So pay attention. You can learn a lot from both of them.

All kids: Okay!

Brock: So, Roxanne, how did you know I was a Gym Leader?

Roxanne: Well, you know, the Pewter City Gym is the flagship of all Rock gyms. (to her students) Class, take note how Brock has taken great care of his Forretress and Lotad. They're exceptional.

Brock: Well, thank you, Professor. This Lotad of mine is actually a bit of an oddball. It can use Water-Gun attack.

Kid (in orange jacket): Wow! Can we see it?

Brock: Yep! Lotad, Water Gun attack!

But nothing happened

Brock: (laughs nervously)

Jacob:(whispering to Brock) Brock why isn't he doing anything

Brock:(whispering to Jacob) I don't know (knees down to Lotad) Hey, uh, what's going on there little guy?

Lotad turns to Brock and fires Water Gun at his face

All kids: (laughs)

Roxanne: Looks like your Lotad has a mind of its own, huh, Brock?

Jacob laughed a bit as he then noticed Kenny who looked sad, jacob and his Pokémon walked up to him

Kenny: huh?

Jacob: Hi there, your name's Kenny right? Names jacob, nice to meet you

Kenny turned around

Jacob: hey it's okay, I just want to meet you

Kenny: (turning back)Huh?

Jacob: yeah, these are my Pokémon by the way

Jacob's Pokémon waved at kenny

Jacob: they're my best friends

Kenny: best friends?

Jacob: yeah we do a lot of things together, These guys came with me in my adventures and battle alongside with me

Kenny: Oh

Max then walked up to them

Max: his Pokémon are great, would you like to pet them

Kenny: hmmm

Kenny slowly walked towards them when suddenly tommy tripped on poliwag's tail which caused it to used water gun

Max: Look out!

Max managed to get Kenny out of the way

Roxanne: Max and Kenny, are you both okay?

Max and Kenny: Yes.

Tommy: (sarcastic) Sorry. I accidentally stepped on Poliwag's tail.

Anita: Liar! I could tell you did it on purpose!

Tommy: Did not! Why would I possibly do something like that? (looks at Max and sticks his tongue out to him tauntingly)

Roxanne: Max and Kenny, are you both okay?

Max and Kenny: Yes.

Tommy: (sarcastic) Sorry. I accidentally stepped on Poliwag's tail.

Tommy: Did not! Why would I possibly do something like that? (looks at Max and sticks his tongue out to him tauntingly)

Max: Huh?! (unpleased) Hmm. Loser.

Jacob: I don't like this kid

Teacher: Alright class. Time for a pop quiz.

May: (shocked and nervous) What? A pop quiz? I think I better quit while I'm ahead.

She left the classroom

May: (relieved) Hmm. (proud) Hmm! (giggles and leaves)

With the others

The others were now outside

Roxanne: Let's begin our Pokemon battle training. You'll each use one Pokeball. You will continue battling until I judge one of your Pokemon unable to battle.

Tommy looked at Max with a taunting grin while Max groaned and looked mad about him

Jacob: looks like it's max vs tommy

Jacob then noticed that may arrived, he then walked up to her

Jacob: there you are may, where have you been?

May:(lying) Oh, looking around.

Jacob just gave her a really look

Jacob: Seriously, where have you been?

May: I'm Serious

Jacob: may I'm not and idiot I know when people are lying so come on

May:(Sigh) Fine, i been at the contest classes

Jacob: why?

May: It's just that.... Contests seem to be more of my calling then gym battles

Jacob: ....okay

May:: Okay? Just like that?

Jacob: yeah may you don't have to do there gym battles

May:I just worry about what mom and dad might think..

Jacob: may I'm sure your parents want you to do whatever makes you happy

May: I hope you're right...

Jacob: trust me I'm sure they'll be fine now I'm about to watch max battle some jerk, you coming

May nods

Jacob: good, also pls don't lie about stuff like that okay

She nods again

Jacob: alright let's go

Roxanne pulled out some pokeballs for max and tommy

Roxanne: Now, select your Pokeball.

Tommy grabbed a Pokémon

Max: I'll like to use my own Pokémon

Tommy:(jealous) you have your own

Roxanne: fine by me

The others were watching

May: I hope Max will be alright

Jacob: he's a smart kid, he can do this

May: I sure hope so..

Roxanne: Are the competitors ready to begin?

Max and Tommy: Yes!

Roxanne: Let's start the match!

Tommy summoned a magby while max summoned his mightyena

Tommy:(shock) what the, where did you get a mightyena

Max: I had help from a friend

Max turned at jacob and smiled, jacob smiled back

Tommy: grr don't think that you've won yet, new kid! Battle is all about technique.

Max: got that right

Tommy magby use flamethrower

Magby launched a flamethrower

Max: mightyena dodge it

Mightyena jumped up and dodged it

Tommy: what!

Max: now use shadow ball

Mightyena launched a shadow ball that hit magby

Jacob: nice, he dodged the attack and struck at best moment, smart move max

Tommy: grr magby use flamethrower

Magby launched a flamethrower

Max: mightyena use dark pulse

Mightyena launched a dark pulse that overpowered the flamethrower and struck magby

Tommy: No way!

Jacob:(mind) hmm Tommy doesn't look like he knows any other moves, that's gonna be his downfall

Max: time to finish this, mightyena use shadow ball dark pulse

Tommy: what!?

May: what did he say?

Jacob: it's a combo move, he's combining moves like me

Mightyena launched a shadow ball, he then launched a dark pulse at it as it was absorbed into the shadow ball which made it even more powerful

Tommy: magby, get rid of it with flamethrower

Magby tried to destroy it with flamethrower but it was no match, the attack hit magby and knocked him out

Roxanne: the match is now over, the winner is max

Jacob's team cheered for him

Jacob: woohoo way to go max

Just then the alarms went off

Jacob: what the, what's going on?

The headmaster then ran over to them

Headmaster: Something terrible has happened! All of our Pokeballs have been stolen!

Roxanne: What?!

Headmaster: they're all gone!

Roxanne: how?!

???:(evil laughing)

Everyone: huh?

Just then a massive mech came crashing through the yard, jacob then saw the same symbol he saw when he fought the last poacher

Jacob: it's another poacher!

The mech began to speak

Poacher:(inside the mech) hahahaha hello everyone one, your probably wondering where did all your pokeballs go, well to answer your question

He pressed a button which revealed a chamber in the mech that had all of the pokeballs

Everyone:(gasp)

Poacher: hahaha that's right these pokeball now belong to me, my client is gonna pay me handsomely for this but why stop there, I'll accept all you to hand me your remaining Pokémon now

Jacob: like hell we are

Poacher: huh?

He turned and saw jacob

Poacher: well I'll be, if it isn't the half Pokémon kid, you know your becoming a problem to the organization

Jacob: good now hand over the pokeballs now

Poacher: hahahahaha yeah that's not gonna happen but I got something else to give you

He pressed a button as a bunch of middle launch's appeared, the arms then grew spikes everywhere

Poacher: I'll give you a world of pain

Jacob: grrrr guys get the others to safety, I'll handle this guy

The others ran off while jacob got in front of the lake

Jacob: looks like it's just you and me you bastard

Poacher: hahahaha indeed, too bad you won't see them again, cause I'm gonna destroy you

Jacob: pls, your gonna be nothing but scrap metal when this is over

Poacher: haha bring it on tiny

Jacob: fine then IT'S FIGHTING TIME

The fight began, the mech launched multiple missiles at him

Poacher: hahaha take this

Jacob managed to dodge all of them

Poacher: alright, let's see you dodge this

A massive missile was fired at jacob but he caught it

Jacob: why don't you take it!

He threw it back at the mech as it exploded which did some damage to the mech

Poacher: grrr your pay for that, BOMBS AWAY

He then launched a bunch of bombs at him but shield him self from the bombs

Poacher: prepare to get crush

The mech went towards jacob as it tried to step on him, the mech tried to stomp him but jacob grabbed it began to push it up

Jacob:get...off...of...ME!

He then lifted the mech off of him as it fell on its back, the mech was now struggling to get up

Poacher: DAMNIT!

Jacob: my turn

Jacob jumped onto the mech's chest

Jacob: CLOSE COMBAT!

Jacob released a fury of blows at the mech, the soon got back up as jacob stepped back

Poacher: Grrr your dead kid

The mech the grabbed jacob and threw im him to a wall

Poacher: DIE!

Jacob got out of the way just as he was about to get hit

Poacher: DAMNIT!

Jacob then slid under the mech and grabbed it from behind as he slammed it to the ground

Poacher: NOT AGAIN!

Jacob then used close combat again, the mech then got back up again

Poacher: I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU

He grab jacob again

Poacher:DIE!

He began to slam jacob into the ground over and over again but he wasn't doing much to jacob

Poacher: GRRR WHY WON'T YOU DIE ALREADY

Jacob: cause your still here! ERUPTIONS

Jacob launch a stream of lava from his mouth at the arm which caused it to melt off the mech

Poacher: RAHH MY ARM!

Jacob: good!

Poacher: GRR DIE

The mech swung it's other arm but jacob grabbed it and ripped it off

Poacher: GRRR TIME TO BRING OUT MY BACK UP LIMBS

He pressed a button as two arms with massive blasters came out of the mech

Poacher: TIME TO DIE

Both of them launched a bunch of energy blast at each other, meanwhile the team and other students were watching from above

Max: I have to help him, but how

Kenny: I know a way

Everyone looked at him

Max: huh?

Kenny: I think we can maybe distract him

Roxanne: that's a good idea Kenny

With jacob

Jacob was now corned by a wall as the mech aimed a blaster at it

Poacher: TIME TO DIE YOU BRAT

He began to charge up an attack when suddenly something struck him from behind

Poacher: ARG WHAT THE, WHO DID THAT?!

He then saw jacob's team, the students and their pokemon

Max: GET HIM

All of the pokemon launched a bunch of attacks, but the attacks didn't weren't damaging him

Poacher: HA, YOU THINK THOSE MOVE WILL HURT

Jacob: NO BUT THIS WILL

Jacob suddenly upper cutted the mech into the air, he then flew up and punched it again a it slammed it into the ground, the mech was now in bad shape, it had only one blaster left and the rest of it's limbs were ripped off

Poacher: THIS ISN'T OVER

The mech slowly lifted his last blaster but jacob quickly sliced it off

Jacob: NO MORE HIDING BEHIND A MECH

Jacob then ripped open the mech and pulled him out, then threw him to the ground as the crawled away from jacob in fear

Poacher:(scared) wait a minute, come man can't we just work this out, just take the pokeballs and I'll leave for good pls

The poacher was now trapped against the wall as jacob stood in front of him, he then grabbed him and lifted him in the air

Jacob:(dark) look at you, you act all tough and stuff but your just a coward, a heartless bastard trying to make a buck, it's those like you that make me sick

Poacher:(scared) pls, it's was all business, it was never personal

Jacob:(dark) it's personal to me, (normal voice) kids, cover your eyes

The kids covered their eyes

Jacob: TIME TO PAY, CLOSE COMBAT!

Jacob then launched a fury of punches at him

Poacher: AHHHHHHHHHHH

Jacob: so long you bastard! Mega punch!

He sent him crashing into a wall

Poacher: AAAAAAAAAHHHHH

The kids then uncovered their eyes

Max: he did it, he won

The kids:(cheered)

Tommy then walked up to Kenny

Tommy: you know what Kenny, your not so bad after all

Anita: yeah you're pretty good

Kenny: (chuckles) Thank you

Jacob then jumped up to where they were and walked up to Kenny

Jacob: so, you were one who thought of the idea

Kenny: yeah

Jacob: hehe nice work kid

Anita: This is so much fun. I never thought studying Pokemon could ever be this exciting!

Max: It is, isn't it? So much cool stuff to know.

Max then went off with the other kids

May: Well, it looks like now they've all become buddies.

Jacob: yep

Roxanne: thanks for defeating that guy jacob

Jacob: no problem Roxanne, so when do you want to have our battle

Roxanne: how about tomorrow

Jacob: fine by me, better watch out though cause I ain't planning on going easy

Roxanne: hehe me either

Jacob: good, see you tomorrow then
