so far jacob was able to catch these pokemon

Poochyena: male

Zigzagoon: male

He also caught two of these pokemon

Wurmple: female

Surskit: female

Right now, jaraja caught up to jacob and went inside of him

Jaraja:(in Jacob's mind) uhh jacob, we need to talk, it's about may

Jacob:(mind) what is it?

Jaraja:(in Jacob's mind) I getting a feeling that may might not like pokemon

Jacob:(mind) what, what makes you say that

Jaraja:(in Jacob's mind) cause I think I heard her saying that she would rather travel than catch pokemon, plus just look at her

Jacob turned around and saw may trying to keep away from Jacob's pokemon

Jaraja:(in Jacob's mind) she seem afraid of them, plus she has no knowledge about them, I don't think she wants a pokemon at all

Jacob:(mind) maybe she's just nervous or something, some people get nervous when they start their journey

Jaraja:(in Jacob's mind) maybe, but I'm keeping an eye on her

Jacob:(mind) fine, just try not to freak her out

Jaraja:(in Jacob's mind) okay

May: hey jacob

Jacob: yeah?

May: I always thought that pokemon were supposed to stay in their pokeballs

Jacob: they can, but some of my like to stay out of it, right guys

Jacob's pokemon: yeah

May: uh, I haven't gotten any complaints from my Torchic yet, come to think of it, I don't know anything about this torchic

Jacob: I can help you with that, for starters Torchic is a fire type pokemon

May: I see, well what are it's attacks?

Just then they saw this pokemon

Azurill

Brock: it's an azurill

Jacob: indeed it is

May: wow, it's so cute

Misty: agree

May: I really want it

Jacob: well what are you waiting for, try to catch it

May: alright, I'll just grab a pokeball and throw it

Jacob: wait a minute...

May threw the pokeball as it caught azurill

May: oh yeah, I caught my first pokemon

Jacob: not yet

May: huh

Azurill managed to escape the pokeball

May: hey what gives

Jacob: well your not gonna catch anything that way

May: why not, I threw an empty pokeball didn't I

Jacob: they doesn't always work, sometimes you have to battle it first and then you can try to catch it

May: right I know

Jaraja: no you didn't

May just ignored jaraja

May: alright, it's time for a pokemon battle

May then summoned her torchic

May: now what attacks does it know?

Jaraja: oh god

James: wow, she really doesn't know anything about pokemon

Jaraja: yep, this isn't gonna end well

Just then Azurill ran off as torchic followed it

May: torchic

Torchic tried to catch Azurill but instead ran into a tree

The boys: ohhh

May: well wasn't good, are you okay Torchic

Torchic got back up and kept following Azurill

May: torchic wait for me

May went after them

James: I can't help but feel sorry for her

Everyone else: yep

Torchic then crashed into a rock pillar

Bluey whined a bit as he covered his eyes

Even bluey isn't enjoying this

Jacob: oh god

May then picked up torchic

May: okay, next time don't do anything until I tell you to

Torchic's eyes began to water up

May: hey what are you crying for, come on

Meowth: I can't watch this anymore

Jacob: may, the Azurill is getting away

Torchic then got back to the ground and stared at the Azurill

May: alright, torchic use peck attack

Azurill jumped out of the way which caused torchic to peck on a tree

Jacob: oh god

May: over there torchic

Torchic stopped pecking and ran after torchic

May: no wait for me

They all ran after them

Torchic suddenly fired it's ember attack

May: alright, I think he got it

Jacob: I don't think so

And he was right, turns out torchic actually hit Azurill, along with its family, a Marill and Azumarill

Jacob: oh crap

The pokemon then attack torchic with water gun attacks which knocked torchic out

May: torchic!

Jacob: well that didn't work

The pokemon then charged towards

Jacob: I guess I'm up, thunder shock

Jacob launch a tiny thunder bolt from his finger that almost hit the pokemon, the attacked scared the pokemon and sent them back into a lake

Jacob: well that takes care of it

Small timeskip

Jacob and may were right now taking care of torchic

May: torchic pls say something, anything

Jacob: may, torchic is a fire pokemon, which mean he's weak to water attacks

May: I feel terrible

Just then misty came back

Misty: im back, I managed to catch Azurill

May: seriously, (pouting) lucky, what do I do now?

Jacob: give him to me

May handed torchic to him, jacob used his power to heal torchic back to full health

Jacob: there we go, all better

Torchic jump back onto the ground and ran up to may

Jacob: it's getting late, we should probably find a place to rest

May: my parent's place is close by

Jacob: alright, lead the way

Timeskip

Our heroes arrived in Petalburg City

They arrived at may's house which looked like a gym

Jacob: uhh may, is this a gym?

May: yeah, it's my fathers

Jacob: Your father is a gym leader

May: yep

Jacob: huh, interesting, well I guess it's time for my first gym battle I guess

May: what

Jacob: alright, let's do this

May: wait your just gonna go in and battle my dad

Jacob: yeah I mean that is kinda how this works

Jacob then went inside

Jacob and his pokemon were now inside the gym which was completely empty

Jacob: hello...anyone there...anyone

???: will you keep it down

Jacob: Huh, who said that?

???: behind you

Jacob turned around and saw this kid

Max

Jacob: oh um sorry kid

Max then look at jacob and was shocked

Max: WOW, IT'S REALLY YOU, YOU'RE JACOB JACKSON THE HALF POKEMON KID

Jacob: yep, thats me

Max: I'm a huge fan of you, you single handedly took down the entire team rocket organization and became champion of the kanto and johto region

Jacob: yep

Max: wow, my names max, It's an honor to met you

Jacob: pleasure is all mine max, I see your a fan of me

Max: yes I am, I watched a video of you defeating archer, you were awesome, you literally flew into space and came back down, it was so cool

Jacob: yeah it was nothing, well max I'm looking for the gym leader here, is he around

Max: yep, thats me, yours truly

Jacob: hahah, sorry max but I was told that the gym leader was someone else

Max: what! No way, I am the gym leader here, what do you think I'm not good enough

Jacob: I never said that max,(sigh) look since your the only one here I guess I'll battle you

Jacob: okay kid, what are the rules

Max: we each will use up to three pokemon

Jacob: okay, let's begin, it's fighting ti...

Just then may came in

May: hi max, what's going on

Max: oh uhh hey sis

Jacob: sis?

Just then, may's parents came in

Norman: well what do we have here

Caroline: hello there

Jacob: What the, what's going on here, who are you guys?

Jacob's team and may's family were now inside the gym

May: jacob, I like you to meet my mother and father

Norman: nice to meet you, I'm Norman

Caroline: and I'm Caroline

Norman: you must be jacob

May: and this is my little brother max

Jacob: we met already

Max: you see my dad is the real gym leader here

Jacob: so I've heard

Norman: that's right and I must say, I've heard a lot of things about you jacob

Jacob: is that so

Norman: yes, your pretty famous in the kanto and johto region

Jacob: yeah I guess you can say that, so may, I guess this means you come from the Petalburg gym, correct?

May: why uhh yes

Caroline: we appreciate you bringing may all the way here

Jacob: I'm glad to help you guys

Max: mom, dad, this is the guy who's half pokemon

Norman: really, I heard rumors about that, are they true

Jacob: yep, here I'll show you

Jacob revealed his tail

Max: wow, you have a tail, can I touch it, pls

Jacob: hehe, sure go ahead

Max latched onto jacob's tail and began to rub it

Max: wow, it's so soft and smooth

Jacob: hehe, thanks

Norman: so may, what kinda pokemon did you choose

Jacob: she got a torchic, show them may

May: okay

May summoned her torchic

Max: seriously, torchic, if I were you I would have definitely pick treecko

Torchic didn't like that and pecked Max for the comment

May: torchic stop that right now

Norman: well I think torchic is a great starter

Max: man I wish I had my own pokemon, I would love to have a treecko

Torchic then continued to peck max

Jacob: uhh maybe you should saying that in front of torchic

Caroline: well jacob, why don't you and your friends join us for dinner

Jacob: sure, I could eat

The rest of the team agreed

Timeskip

Everyone was now having dinner

Caroline: so jacob, may tells me that your a traveler

Jacob: yeah, I've been to many places, even places that no one else has ever been to

Max: that's so cool, I would love to go to many places

Caroline: and you did this all alone

Jacob: actually no, I had my best companions with me

Just then jaraja came out of Jacob's body

Jaraja: like me

Max: wow, your jaraja

Jaraja: yep, I stayed by Jacob's side all the way, me and bluey

Just then bluey appeared and jumped onto Jacob's lap

Max: wow, it's bluey, he actually does exist

Norman: I must say, I've never seen a pokemon like that before

Jacob: yeah bluey is one of a kind, but he's been by my side since the day I met him

Norman: well that's good, traveling is always good when your with someone

Jacob: I couldn't agree more Norman, it makes the journey way more fun

Max: I wish I could do that as well

May: dad, jacob was wondering if you could have a gym battle with him

Jacob: yeah is that okay with you

Norman: Of course, how many badges have you claimed ?

Jacob: Wait, you're not the first gym leader?

Norman: nope, I'm actually the 5th one

Jacob: I see, well unfortunately I don't have the other badges yet

Norman: I see, well I guess I can have an unofficial match with you, is that okay

Jacob: sure, how many pokemon would you like to use

Norman: how about we start with one

Jacob: alright let's do it, it's fighting time

Timeskip

Jacob and normal were now on the battlefield as the others were watching from a distance

Normal: alright vigoroth, your up

Norman summoned his vigoroth

Jacob: a vigoroth huh, impressive, heracross your up

Heracross: alright

Heracross got onto the battle as celebi and bellossom began to cheer

Celebi and bellossom: go jacob

Max: he has a cheer squad too, so cool

Norman: vigoroth use scratch

Vigoroth ran towards heracross

Jacob: heracross, guard yourself

Heracross protected himself as vigoroth struck him with is whole hand, the attack didn't do much to heracross

Jacob: my turn, heracross use horn attack

Heracross's horn glowed silver as he slammed it into vigoroth's chest, the attack sent him back a few feet but it wasn't enough to knock him out

Norman: impressive, but we're not done yet

Jacob: nether are we, heracross use focus punch

Heracross ran towards vigoroth as he charged up a focus punch

Norman: vigoroth, use focus punch as well

Vigoroth's fist glowed white

The attacks then collided, the two of them began to release a fury of focus punches, vigoroth then launched another focus punch, but heracross flew up and dodged it, he then used focus punch as he cuppercutted vigoroth and sent him flying

Max: woah

Norman: vigoroth, use flamethrower

Vigoroth used flamethrower while he was still in the air

Jacob: heracross dodge it

Heracross ran back and dodged it

May: wow, Jacob's is doing pretty good against dad

Max: of course he is, this guy is a legend

Norman: vigoroth use scratch attack

Vigoroth ran toward heracross

Jacob: heracross, dodge it

Right before vigoroth could hit him, heracross jumped over vigoroth

Jacob: use brick break

Heracross used brick break as he punch vigoroth in the back which did a lot of damage to him

Norman: vigoroth, use scratch again

Vigoroth used scratch as he struck heracross, the attack sent heracross back

Jacob: heracross, you good

Heracross: yeah I'm good

Jacob: good, cause it time to finish this, heracross use megahorn

Norman: vigoroth, flamethrower

Vigoroth launched a flamethrower attack, the two attack collided as they tried to overpowered each other

Jacob: come on heracross you can do it, I believe in you

Heracross got more determined as he managed to overpower the flamethrower and hit Vigoroth

Max and may: woah

Norman: vigoroth!

The attack sent vigoroth crash into a wall and it fell to the ground knocked out

Jacob: haha we won, good job heracross

Heracross: oh yeah

Max: wow that was awesome, your heracross overpowered that flamethrower

Jacob: yep

Norman: congratulations, you won, I must say, I never met a trainer who can beat vigoroth that easily

Jacob: well I train my pokemon a lot

Norman: I see, well jacob, it's getting late so why don't you and your friends stay here for the night

Jacob: sure

Timeskip

It was nighttime now and jacob was asking around with bluey when max came up to him

Max: hey jacob

Jacob: oh hey max what's up

Max: I just wanted to congratulate you on you victory today

Jacob: why thank you, I bring out my best in every battle

Max: I see

Jacob: say max, can I ask you something

Max: sure what is it

Jacob: why does may not know much about pokemon, when I with her I saw that she knew nothing about pokemon about or their moves

Max: oh that's probably because she doesn't like pokemon

Jacob: what

Jaraja: told you

Max: yeah she was never really a fan of pokemon, in fact she only got was so she can travel, she could care less about pokemon

Jacob: I see, say where is she right now

With may

May was now outside staring at the moon when jacob and bluey appeared

Jacob: hey may

May: oh hey jacob, what are you doing here

Jacob: I was looking for you

May: why?

Jacob:(sigh) look may we need to talk, can you pls be honest with me

May: uhh sure

Jacob: Okay, may, do you not like pokemon?

May: Well....(sigh) no, to be honest I don't

Jacob: why though, why don't you

May: to be honest I never understood pokemon, I don't understand why people like them so much, sure some are okay but they just never really got my attention, all I really want to do is travel the world, seriously, what's so special about pokemon...no offense

Jacob: none taken

May:(sigh) I just don't understand what people see in pokemon

Jacob: well may, being a pokemon myself and can tell you, pokemon are just like humans, we're not that different from humans, we live in the same world, breath the same air and we all have feelings, the bond between a human and their pokemon is extraordinary, cause it shows how much they care about each other, pokemon will go far just to make their trainer happy, just like your torchic today, sure it failed to catch azurill, but it tried it's best just for you, they fight for their trainer, and the stronger that bond gets, the stronger your pokemon will get, trust me, I've lived with pokemon all my life, I know how they think, once you understand how pokemon work, you'll see why pokemon are important

May: but I know nothing about pokemon, I stink at battling, I couldn't even catch a pokemon today

Jacob: that's okay may, you're not alone on this, you have me, I can help you, I can teach you everything you need to know, I can show thing you never even heard of

May: you do that for me?

Jacob: of course

May: but why though, why do you care?

Jacob: cause your my friend may

May: you consider me your friend, but we just met

Jacob: so, that doesn't stop me, look may, the world is filled with pokemon and you're never gonna enjoy it if you don't try to learn anything about it, come with me and I'll help understand the world of pokemon, what do you say?

May smiled

May: I may not have be interested in pokemon, but I'm willing to learn about them and if I'm gonna learn, I might as well learn about them from you

Jacob: that's the spirit

Jacob then hugged her which made her blush

Jacob: thanks for letting me help you may

May:(bush) uhh your welcome, I guess

Jacob: right, we should probably get some rest, we have a big day tomorrow

May: okay

They then went their separate way, but may couldn't help but think about jacob

May:(mind) he's so nice, my heart is beating so fast, is this.... love?
