1. First encounter

~~~ Fall - EXO ~~~
"Dee! Where the hell are you? You were supposed to be here like a half an hour ago," Dee held her phone a bit farther away from her ear, because she knew she would be lectured, as soon as she picks it up.
"It's not my fault, today is just not my day. I got stuck at school and then, there was underground strike! I literally am still trying to figure out my way to the club!" she was desperate, giving up on the underground transportation, she went back up on the surface and began to look for the free cab.
"Dee, the manager is looking for you, he looks seriously pissed," her friend was whispering, which meant only one thing, manager was somewhere around her. Dee cursed under her breath and waved her hand to try stop the car, even more eagerly.
"Eve, do me a favour please, tell him I'm almost there and that he can postpone my performance. He can put someone else there instead of me, I will be there soon, the cab is here. Thank you, save me!" she screamed into the phone and jumped in the cab, which she managed to stop.
"Where to?" the driver asked her, she quickly told him the address and finally relaxed in her seat. Today was one of the day, you wish you didn't get up in the morning. She would definitely be better off in bed, it would be safer for everyone else around her too. She sighed quietly and looked out of the window. The rain stopped, but she was still drenched. As much as she loved her always rainy country, it didn't go well with the lack of her luck.
While she was being driven to the club, where she worked as an evening entertainer, she was trying to fix her disastrous appearance in the reflection of driver's front mirror. The place she was heading to, wasn't big venue, or famous, but she still loved it. She enjoyed the vibe of small crowd, even though she wasn't professional musician.
"Miss, we are here. It will be fourteen quid," the cab driver spoke, as he parked the car in front of the club. Dang it. She is going to regret this ride by cab later, when she is about to buy herself a supper. She paid the fee, even though it pained her empty wallet and stepped out the car, with her heavy guitar case and backpack full of study materials from her university.
She was about to start walking towards the building, where she was supposed to be standing on the small stage, but something, or more likely to say, someone bumped into her, causing her to loose balance and end up sitting in the paddle on the ground.
"Hey!" she exclaimed as she looked up and saw a person standing above her, like a dark shadow. It was already night time and to see stranger looking at her from beneath his black hoodie, while his was face was covered by black wimple, gave her fright of her life. She opened he eyes wide, which caused him to do the same with his dark brown ones, while he moved his arm, that was tucked in front pockets of his black pants until now. She thought he was about to rob her, so she did the only sensible thing, that came to her mind. Still sitting on the ground like a wet puppy, she took advantage of it and kicked him hard in his calves, while he let out pained moan.
"Leave me alone, freak!" she yelled at him, while she managed to get up again. She didn't care if she really hurt him and ran for her life. After disappearing behind the front club door, she felt safe. The girl living in the London, needs to know how to defend herself, especially when she was the kind of person, who works mostly at night time.
"Dawn! Here you are. Manager! Manager, Dawn's arrived," Eve started screaming as soon as she saw her, standing by the door with puddle forming under her feet.
"Oh my, why do you look like this? You are soaked," Eve pointed out. Dawn looked at her annoyed, trying to squeeze water from her denim jacket.
"Don't even get me started. I need to make myself a human again. Can you lend me your jumper, just for the performance, I'm going to get cold like this," she asked Eve, then she noticed another person, coming to her. Manager of this venue, looking all furious, which made her want to hide and wait until he calms down.
"Miss Kim has finally decided to show up? When tonight's program has already started? How nice of you!" his voice was gradually turning up louder and louder.
"Mr. Smith..." Dee started, but there was no point in apologizing. Mr. Smith was, like his surname, typical. Typical leader of a small club, for visitors of popular part of London, called Camden. That had him thinking, that he is big and mighty. It wasn't just her, he was treating like this. All the artists working in his club, were shaking whenever they had to deal with him. But she was determinate to suffer, just to later stand on the little stage.
"You are useless, you are going to ruin me..." Mr. Smith kept pestering her, about how horrible person she is and she let him.
"Go and get ready, you are next," he eventually stopped, letting her go. You see? She doesn't even have to say a single word. She saw Eve waiting for her, so Dawn bowed her head and left Mr. Smith by the door.
"Why do you let him call you names, it's not fair," Eve whispered, helping Dee with her heavy instrument, on the stairs, leading to backstage.
"As long he is gonna let me perform, I have to," she explained. On their way, she told her all about her horror day, ending with the story of weirdo outside in front of the club.
"You should have scream, I would," Eve's face mirrored her scared feelings.
"I did scream and kicked him, don't worry, he is probably crying somewhere now," she winked at her friend, satisfied with her action. She quickly changed her wet jacket, smoothing her long dark brown hair down, but there was no use to it.
"Let me do it," Eve offered herself to try and tame her frizzy hair, from the rain. "Nervous?" she asked, looking at her through the mirror, they were in front of.
"Not really," Dawn shrugged her shoulders. It was almost half an year, since she started working here as an evening entertainer, she was a wreck at the beginning, but not anymore.
"Then I can tell you secret," Eve breathed out all excited, which made her curious.
"What is it?" she demanded.
"I heard a rumour among the other guys here, that there might be someone from Exo in the audience tonight," Eve yelped, apparently on top of the world right now.
"And your point is?" Of course Dee knew who is Eve talking about, but the thing was, she wasn't interested not even in slightest. Exo, even as a mainstream group of Korean guys and worldwide recognized artists, didn't impress her at all. Eve on the other hand, was fan number one.
"Oh Dee, when are you going to finally pay attention to them?" Eve tried multiple times to make her listen to their music, but Dawn always turned her down. Not because she doubt the quality of their work. But she had her reasons.
"KIM!" she heard loud scream of Mr. Smith, which was a clue to get going. She grabbed her guitar, which she prepared before, said goodbyes with Eve, who went to the main hall of club, sit down with her friends, so she could comfortably watch her performance.
It was her time to shine on the tiny stage. She went there, placing a strap of her guitar around a neck, standing in front of the mic. Spotlight blinded her for a second, then she could hear the host announcing her name. She could see people sitting by the tables around the stage, few standing in the back, or next to the bar.
She began playing and singing, the way she enjoyed, listening to people responding, or singing the lyrics of the song, when they recognized it. And this was the reason she was here, even though it wasn't easy. It was perfect.
Until she suddenly felt uneasy. Someone was watching her, yes it sounded quite ridiculous, when everyone's eyes were on her right now, but this gaze was different. It took her few seconds to find the eyes that made her so nervous.
She almost stopped breathing, when she recognized the dark shadow, standing not far from the stage, looking at her intensively. His hoodie was down, revealing black shiny hair.
He is stalker! He probably wants to kill her, after the kick he received from her.
Thankfully, she was able to play on the guitar without making any mistake, but she forgot few parts of the lyrics of the song she was currently singing. The guy still had his wimple on, but she could clearly see, that he smiled, when she made an error. What is his deal?
She tried to ignore him and find Eve, who was sitting on the table closer to the stage. She was trying to send her a message telepathically, trying to divert her attention towards the weirdo with wimple. Finally she got it, when Dee pointed with her chin on the guy, who was still staring at her. Eve turned her head around, looking at him for a while. When she almost slipped down of her chair. She looked back on Dee, with wide open eyes and pink cheeks. She mouthed "oh my god" on Dee and went back to stare at the stranger.
What a ...
When her friend started to almost jump up and down on her seat, Dee was sincerely concerned for Eve's mental health.
Dee was almost at the end of her set, singing the last song, while she tried not to look the way the weird stare was coming from. But she couldn't help herself, when she ended up turning her gaze his way. She noticed, he wasn't alone, because it looked like he was talking to other guy, next to him, who didn't have a mask covering half of his face, but it  was still shaded by cap on his head. And that was not all, there were another two guys, looking like they belonged together.
Oh my, he has a gang?
She really felt like, her life is threatened right now.
Her set finally ended and she found herself rushing of off the stage. Usually, she stayed and talked to people, but this time the circumstances were different.
"Eve, we need to contact the security guys, this is serious," she started panicking as soon as Eve joined he in the backstage.
"Did you see? That was the guy from earlier!" she added. Eve's expression was still full of excitement, which she didn't understand. Then she frowned.
"Wait a minute. That guy you kicked, is the one you pointed at in the club?" her friend's eyes widened once again and then she bursted in laughter. Dee didn't understand a thing. She had to wait until Eve calmed down, wiping her tears off.
"That guy you kicked before, my dear friend, is no other than Byun Baekhyun from Exo," Eve managed to say, before she started to laugh again. Dee needed a time to process the new information. Then she realised, that this is really bad. Did she just screw her life, big time?
I think I don't have to repeat what I have already said in the description of the story, I think I wrote everything there:)
But to clarify, my first language is Czech and I write stories a lot in that language, I started to write in English from scratch since last year and this was my first story I have ever made.
It was very liked on the Amino and I decided to repost it here on my main writing portal.
I will be posting the chapters quickly, the story is complete, but will need some editing.
Also the first chapter might not give off much, but it is going to be ride, warning for the clueless and the ones that don't know me yet, I'm as many said cliffhanger queen so... sorry In advance😁
That leads me to... those who read the story already and know the ending etc, don't spoil the experience for the ones who are here for the first time!! Thanks!
Okay, onto the second chapter😎
Kindly leave comments and likes and tell me how you like the story so far.
