Anna's finally moved from the town she had always thought it was weird. No more grandma's squatting early in the morning in front of her window, no more boys pretending to be female popstars.

And now she had to face something bigger.... Denburg high.

It's been officially two weeks since she arrived in Denburg. And her parents thought it was fit if she rested for a while before returning to the busy and stressful life of school.

The original plan they had was to go sight seeing and be acquainted with their new environment. But Anna...she wasn't feeling it. Instead, she sat back at home, blasted sad music, and drank fruit drinks that she would pretend was alcohol. She was trying to forget something of the past. Perhaps she felt undeserving of any fun,peace, or any form of joy at all. Could it be it?

It's currently night time. The moon is full and bright. The stars are twinkling, the breeze has never been cooler, and the trees danced with so much rhythm with the cool, relaxing fresh air.

Her room is brightly lit by the round Chandelier that gave a gold light. The color contrasted just a little bit with the dark yellow color of the walls of her room.

She lied on her bed - tired and exhausted. She wore a pink crop top and pink pyjama pants that perfectly fit her body. Her puffy pink blanket covered her up to her belly. The back of her hand place on her forehead as she thought about the horrors of the next day.

"New faces, a new environment, new teachers, new stuff.... forgive me lord. As much as I'm grateful that you wake me up each and every day. But I am so gonna hate tomorrow " She thought to herself as she stared at the ceiling blankly.

" Ah!," she groaned softly as she turned to the side and buried her face in the pillow. She is so... gonna hate tomorrow.

And it was finally the next day. She looks so peaceful as she sleeps. How could she not? She is enjoying the sleep after all. The sky is begining to light up as the sun dawn's. Anna shifts on her bed and mutters something unintelligible.

Her mom slowly opens the door with a cup of sizzling hot tea in her hand. She creeps in and stands beside her daughter.

" Aww.. she's so beautiful, so peaceful," her heart melted. " It'll be a shame if someone just woke her up," Mrs. Kendrick said sweetly. " mmmm," she walked over to the cupboard and drops the cup of tea. She wipes her hand on her pyjamas. She sits on the bed and leans close to Anna's ears. She clears her throat and delivers an ear splitting shriek: " WAKE UP!" she screeched at full volume.

Anna jolts up from her slumber.

" MOM!," she yelled with her eyes wide in horror. " WHAT THE HECK!?," Anna yelled furiously.

" Good morning, sunshine," Mrs. Kendrick stood up and said as if nothing happened.

" Why did you wake me up like that!?," She yelled.

" You have school today? Duh!," Mrs. Kendrick said in teenage girl kinda way.

" Is that why you woke me up like that!?," Anna asked.

" Of course! How else would I have woken you up."

" You could have just woken me up with a kiss on the forehead. Or at least just tapped me like a normal mom!"

" Well, unfortunately, being a normal mom isn't part of my family's traits so...see you at the dinning in ten," Mrs. Kendrick instructed and flipped her hair sassily over her shoulder and walked.

Anna groaned loudly and covered pulled the blanket over her head.

After ten minutes of self-loathing, banging her head gently on her mirror and regretting some life choices, she finally gets ready.

She does a mild make up, and for her clothes, she wears a black top and blue fitted jeans. There's a choke necklace around her neck, a black bracelet around her wrist and for feet, she wears black shoes.

She swings her black handbag on her shoulders. She stands in front of the mirror and accesses herself.

" Ugh! I look terrible and unattractive," She said with disgust. " Nice!," the disgusted face suddenly turning into approval. She reaches for her perfume that had a label she tapped to it that said: STAY AWAY FROM ME SPECTACULAR FRAGRANCE. She completely empties the perfume can. She really wants to be avoidable. And she'll do anything to make sure that happens.

With self approval, she heads to the dinning. She walks down the stairs, her hair bouncing with every step.

She meets her dad at the dining. He wears a green track suit with white lines on both sides. And there's a whistle around his neck.

There's a plate of toast in front of him and his hands are very occupied. His phone in one hand, and a cup of sizzling hot tea in another. His brown hair is geled and silky. And his skin has never looked better.

" Hey, mom. Hey, dad," Anna greeted.

" You look... pleasant," Her dad gagged over his tea.

" Thank you. That's exactly what I was going for," she answered sarcastically as she sat at the table and waited for her food.

" Sooooo, are you excited for today?," Mrs.Kendrick asked enthusiastically as she brought her a plate of toast and a cup of freshly squeezed orange juice.

" Yeah! Totally! I'm just bursting with excitement!," Anna answered sarcastically.

Mrs. Kendrick drops her food on the table. She glances at her husband and they both share an understanding look. She heads back to the kitchen and decides not to push further with the enthusiasm.

" So, kiddo, big day today," Her dad put a wide smile forward. But Anna doesn't reciprocate. She just stares at him as she chews her food. He's grinning at her, she's munching toast with a blank expression. It's like a staring contest. An uncomfortable, weird staring contest.

" Okay," he gave up and she stopped starring and faced her plate.

Some uncomfortable minutes later, Anna was done with breakfast.

" Okay! Let's go!," Mr. Kendrick said with a smile.

" Great!," Anna replied sarcastically and followed after him to their black Camry car.

" Bye guys!," Mrs. Kendrick waved. " Don't end anybody, and nobody should end you. Okay?"

Anna faked smiled at her.

" I just pray she doesn't burn the school down," Mrs. Kendrick said to herself as she watched them drive off. " At least we have insurance," she said to herself and locked the door behind her.
