"That damned Ry- achoo!" sneezed the (hair colored) girl as she grabbed another tissue and angrily wiped her nose, "He just had to get me fucking sick."

"Serves me right for helping the enemy." The girl sniffed and threw the tissue away before grabbing her (favorite colored) phone to send a quick text to Rin.

Can't come to school. That asshat got me sick, can you drop off my homework?

"That little sh-" (Y/n) got cut off by another message alert from Rin.

Kidding. Of course, we'll drop it off after school

(Y/n) sighed and smiled at the text message before setting the phone near her small bed only to get another alert. Frowning she picked up the phone to see a text message from an unknown number.

Unknown 7:35

Where are ya puppet?

(Y/n) groaned automatically knowing who the number was and blocked the number again before placing her phone near her again and laid down in her nice comfortable bed.

'At least I don't have to deal with that Asshat today... I just get to sleep.' She thought as her mind slowly drifted off to sleep.

"(Y/n)-chan! We're here~!!" A voice yelled from the front door causing the said girl to jump from her sleep.

Groggily, (Y/n) placed her feet on the cold floor and slipped on her slippers before heading to the front door.

Once (Y/n) opened the front door she immediately heard a comment from her favorite red head, "Kyo shut up! She's sleep- Ah hi. You look like shit."

"Thanks." (Y/n) yawned as she step to the side letting the guests in.

"For the last time don't call me Kyo" The blonde puffed out, "It's such a boyish name."

"It's not my fault that's your real name." Rin said as she plopped herself on the living room chair.

Sneezing, (Y/n) closed the door only for someone else to knock on the door right when she walked away.

"Ugh..." (Y/n) groaned and shuffled her way to the front door again before opening it to reveal a certain blonde haired freak.

"Hi-" Before Ryuu could speak (Y/n) slammed the door in his face and continued to shuffle herself to the living room couch.

"(Y/n)! What the heck?!" Kyo yelled as she rushed her way towards the front door to let Ryuu in, "So sorry senpai."

Ryuu stepped in and smiled at Kyo, "Don't worry we play tricks like that a lot."

"Get lost sasha-" before she could finish the sentence (Y/n) began to cough hysterically.

"I'll make everyone some tea." Kyo said as she worriedly looked at (Y/n) before shuffling to the small kitchen.

Ryuu walked over to sit next to the cold girl and threw a nearby blanket on her before whispering, "Sorry I got you sick puppet."

"Can it Ryuu." (Y/n) growled.

"Hey lovebirds I'm here too." Rin said as she set her feet on the coffee table before grabbing the remote and turning on the tv.

"Oh shut it Rin!"

Rin laughed and put her arm around (Y/n)'s shoulders, "Sorry Ryuu she's my hoe get your own."

Ryuu got taken aback and weirdly upset that the red hair claimed that the young girl he had his eyes set on was hers. Before Ryuu can comment a small girl appeared from the kitchen with a tray of four cups and a spare rag.

Kyo set the tray down before shooing the two teens away from the sick girl so (Y/n) can lay down. Once the girl was laying down Kyo grabbed the hot rag and set it on her friends head.

Everyone watched Kyo perform her mother like actions before Rin commented, "Kyo I'd like you to marry me."

Blushing Kyo playfully hit Rin's shoulder, "Rin!"

Rin laughed, "Too bad I'm straight. I'd love to have you as a wife."

Kyo rolled her eyes before pouring tea into each cup and handing them out. Once she reached (Y/n)'s cup she lifted up the sick girl and helped her drink the cup of tea.

"Kyo like I said last time I was sick, you don't have to baby me." (Y/n) sweat dropped as she drank the warm tea that immediately gave relief to her chalky throat.

Kyo set the tea cup down before shaking her head, "and like last time I said I will never stop. If anyone I love is hurt I'll have to make sure they're get better!"

(Y/n) smiled with teary eyes and tackled her in a hug, "You're such a good friend Kyo!"

"Hey I'm here too! I already called dibs on Kyo as a wife." Rin yelled pulling Kyo's small body to herself.

"You can't hog Kyo to yourself!" (Y/n) pouted.

"Okay guys cal-" Kyo went to speak only for (Y/n) to cough hysterically again.

Rin let Kyo go and helped (Y/n) relax back on the couch, "That's enough playing around I guess."

(Y/n) nodded and slowly drifted off to sleep while Ryuu remained silent as he watched the three girls show.

'Is (Y/n) only interested in women..?' Ryuu finally thought to himself, 'if she is then she will never love me....'

Ryuu frowned and sipped his tea, 'I won't win that bet. I'll have to ask soon, I need to make sure (Y/n)'s into men at least...'

"Ah Ryuu-senpai you okay?" Kyoko's voice asked as she stood in front of the male.

Ryuu shook his head before nodding, "Yeah sorry was just thinking."

Rin eyed Ryuu, "About what?"

Ryuu and Kyo looked back at Rin surprised, "You have to give him his privacy Rin." Kyo said.

Ryuu waved his hand in order to dismiss the subject, "Don't worry it's fine. I was just wondering what (Y/n)'s sexuality was."

And with that Rin and Kyo spit out their tea, "W-Why would you think about that?!" Kyo asked concerned.

"To be serious. I have a small crush on (Y/n)." Ryuu said, not sure if it's a lie or not.

"Yeah sure. What would make you like her?" Rin scoffed as she set down her tea cup.

Ryuu sat down as he watched the (hair colored) girl peacefully sleep as he genuinely thought, "I love her boldness. How she doesn't hesitate to comment her opinion or to stand up for herself. She doesn't care about others opinions. She's mischievous and full of life. I don't know, I'm just drawn towards her."

The room remained silence as Ryuu processed what he had just said as he began to wonder if he truly did mean what he said. He can't be in love, can he? he thought.

'Is this what love is?'

"Aww Ryuu... I never thought you liked her. I will support you two from now on!" Kyo chirped as she wiped the tears from her eyes, "My (Y/n) deserves happiness in her life!"

Rin laughed, "He could be faking it. I don't approve of you for her Ryuu."

Ryuu felt a pang of anger go through his body at the thought of someone not approving the relationship he wanted.

"Rin!" Kyo yelled as she slapped Rin's arm, but before she could scold Rin more Kyo's pink phone blinked as the caller id of her mom appeared on the screen.

Quickly picking up the phone Kyo began to speak to her mom, "Alrighty mom. I'll head home now.... Love you too."

With that Kyo got up and brushed herself off, "Rin can you walk with me? I don't like walking alone.."

Rin looked at Ryuu and (Y/n) debating if she should leave them alone before she looked at Kyo's puppy dog face. Thinking about it, Ryuu most likely wouldn't harm (Y/n) and if he does (Y/n) has neighbors who worry about her.
Sighing Rin got up and nodded before glaring back at Ryuu, "You better not try anything funny. I'm.... regrettably trusting you."

The two girls walked towards the front door and put on their shoes as Ryuu went to walk them out, "I will kill you if you hurt her." Rin said before walking out the door with Kyo.

Once the girls left and Ryuu locked the door he walked back to the living room as he watched (Y/n) sleep. Stepping over to another chair he continued to watch the girl.

'To believe I thought I liked this brat,' Ryuu thought, 'She's so annoying.'

'But maybe that's why you love her Ryuu.' Ryuu's conscience fought back.

'Tsk, I'm not supposed to like her. She's supposed to like me not the other way around.' Ryuu thought before he settled the argument with himself, 'I don't like her.'

Ryuu stood up and grabbed the tray of tea to put it back in the kitchen. Ryuu looked back at sleeping girl before he sighed. He began to walk back to her only for a small object to sparkle next to him; a key.

Specially an apartment key.

Ryuu smirked as he looked in the drawers before bringing out play-dough. Ryuu used the clay like substance to help copy the key. Pushing the key into the dough he pulled it out to see the play dough take the form. When he finished copying the key Ryuu set the play dough in a safe container before cleaning everything up, 'this could help in the long run' Ryuu though to himself, 'If I need to spy on her.'

'or stalk her.' Ryuu's conscience commented making Ryuu roll his eyes.

Ryuu sat down as he thought back to his freshmen year.

"You know, this same exact situation had happened before, believe it or not, but instead it was with a Third year girl named Akagi Hikari." Ryuu said smirking as he continued to the sleeping girl, "She had walked in on a conversation I was having with Abe. And even though she heard the whole conversation with me and Abe she still believed that I was good and that I actually loved her."

Ryuu laughed before continuing, "I remember her saying that she could never love me, but she did. And I fucked her and when her parents found out she was impure they quickly sent her away. Another difference between you two is that I don't know what my feelings for you are."

Sighing Ryuu looked back as he watched the girl drool all over the couches pillow, 'Now that I think about it... where's her parents'

Ryuu stood up and began to walk around the shabby apartment. Once he came upon a scrap book from the shelf he grabbed it and pulled it out of the slot. He opened the dusty turquoise book and began to read.

"Belongs to the (L/n) family."

Ryuu turned the page and saw pictures of a family of three. A smiling young women with (hair length) (hair color) hair next to a smiling young male with (hair length) (hair color) and (skin color) skin. In the middle laid, what he assumes to be, (Y/n) as a baby who was sucking their thumb.

Ryuu smiled at the baby picture of (Y/n) and flipped to the next pages.

Another picture was (Y/n)'s first birthday party, Christmas, Halloween, and second birthday. The pattern continued, with added pictures of the family on vacation to the beach and such, until it suddenly stopped on an empty slot labeled, (Y/n)'s 14th birthday.

Confused Ryuu continued to flip through the book only to find the rest of the pages empty, "(Y/n) should be 15 now. What happened?"

Ryuu silently put the book back into the bookshelf and continued to explore the girls apartment. Walking down a hallway with three doors, he opened the first one to find a small laundry room, the second was a bathroom, and the third was a bedroom that smelled exactly like (Y/n).

Ryuu walked around the girls rather messy room and looked through her stuff only to be completely bored in the long run.

Walking out if the bedroom he continued to look around the apartment. When he came upon another door near the kitchen he opened it to find a small shrine.

The shrine held two pictures of a middle aged women and a middle aged male that looked like (Y/n). Ryuu's eyes widened in shock at the new discovery; she was an orphan. His puppet was an orphan. After picking up all the pieces he felt his heart tighten at the thought of her hurting.

His poor puppet. How does she remain this stoic? It's been at least a year since the death of her parents perhaps. Ryuu thought as he had no idea what the girls birthday was.

Ryuu walked towards the sleeping girl before he caressed her cheek, "Don't worry I'm here now~"

Ryuu stopped himself, what was he doing?

He didn't like her, or so he thought.

Drifting his hazelnut eyes towards the girls lips he frowned as he began to wonder what his feelings for the young girl were again.
