Chapter 1: The beginning of the Playboys game
The first day of school was not great for (Y/n), but maybe the second day will be good. It's high school, will these kids really dwell on what happened the day before? Surely they had better things to do!
"Oh my gosh, isn't she that girl who cursed out Senpai yesterday?" A female voice whispered when (Y/n) walked by. Her shoulders slumped in exhaustion before she reached her shoe locker.
"Oh come on, isn't there anything else to talk about?" (Y/n) murmured under her breath as she reached into her locker and traded out her shoes. Much to her dismay, the conversation she heard continued without them noticing the subject of their conversation was listening.
"I think it is.." Another voice answered her friend, " What's her name? (Y/n) (L/n) I think. She's in class 1-C. From what I saw, Satoshi-senpai was being really kind to her and asking if she was okay! But all she did was brush him off, she even slapped him!"
The reply from the first female came almost instantly with a smirk across her face, "I don't know." She started off before leaning closer into her friend's ear, "She can stand on her own and she's pretty badass!"
The teen outwardly sighed and rolled her eyes before pushing her friend away from her and walking towards her own locker, her voice drifting away from (Y/n) to hear,"Oh shut up! You've always been into the delinquents Sakamaki!"
'The second day of school.' The (h/c) girl groaned as she thought about the conversation she just heard, 'but on the brightside I have a fangirl.'
She slapped her face at the thought before dragging her hand down her face, 'Note to self (Y/n): Don't get lost nor talk to people with big reputations.'(Y/n) stood up after she fixed her slipper properly on her shoe. She looked stretched her arms a little bit before walking up the stairs towards her classroom, might as well just chill in her seat, but right as her foot took two steps closer to the stairs she heard a familiar melodic voice chirp her name.
"(Y/n)-chan! Hey, you're here early! Did Shizuka-san force you to wake up on time today?"
A little shrivel of happiness erupted in her chest at being able to see her friends she ditched yesterday, but the mention of her idiotic guardians name made her mentally groan. Turning around, (Y/n) was able to see a incredibly short young blonde haired girl with another who was taller and had short red hair with a scowl complimenting her features. The blonde haired short teen goes by Kyoko, but her real name is Kyo. Her parents named her Kyo in hopes of giving birth to a male heir, but she came out as a girl and with Kyo being a gender neutral name they kept it much to her dismay. Kyoko is a very innocent teen girl who never stands up for herself, but due to her friendship with both (Y/n) and Rin she is able to speak up more. The red head next to Kyoko is the complete opposite of her, so if Kyoko is a shy innocent girl then Rin was the loud and obnoxious one. She often did what she wanted to do and she always made sure that she was heard, she is the typical delinquent in schools since she never gives a damn about school work or what other people think of her, unless it's her two friends. The moment (Y/n) was able to fully turn around she was met with Rin before her and a rough hand grappling her (h/c) hair before ruffling it up in anger.
"What was up with yesterday?" The red head growled, "You completely ignored us yesterday and now the rumors we hear are about you cursing someone out?" (Y/n) couldn't get an answer out as she was being assaulted by her friend, Rin. Of course, she wasn't surprised that Rin was this upset. She knew that (Y/n) had a rough first day of school yesterday, especially since she did not come back to the roof for the rest of their lunch and she hadn't received a text from her, but even so Rin was pissed off at being ignored.
Kyoko panicked at Rin's aggression towards (Y/n), despite it not being anything new, and she moved towards Rin's arms before pulling them close to her own chest, "O-Oh stop it Rin, we know she had a bad day."
Rin's hand retracted immediately from (Y/n)'s hair before it found itself wrapping around the blonde's small frame and pulling her closer to Rin's chest. Rin gushed as she nestled her face into Kyoko's hair, "Oh my sweet Kyo! You would save her, such a sinner."
(Y/n) rolled her eyes at her friend's display of affection. Quickly, she fixed her clothes and then her hair before looking back at her friends, one begging for help from the tight embrace of the other. Kyoko reached out her small plump hand towards (Y/n) in a desperate plea for help, but before she could even act Rin stopped hugging her and placed her hands on Kyoko's shoulders. She looked towards (Y/n) in confusion, "Wait so what happened yesterday? On our walk here we heard rumors saying you actually cursed out the school prince."
The (h/c) girl cringed at the mention of the idiot, especially when she was just about to forget about yesterday, "He wouldn't stop bothering me" she said as her (e/c) looked off down a hallway, "So I told him to leave me alone and he didn't understand what that meant so I showed him."
Almost immediately a long arm wrapped around her shoulders and dangled off her left shoulder, weren't her arms occupied with Kyoko? Her (e/c) eyes traveled along the white dress shirt sleeve and met with a pair of grey eyes that looked down at her with a gleam look, "At least I'm not the only delinquent in our small group, huh Kyo?"
(Y/n) suddenly hated her friend, but her blonde friend jumped to protect her, "B-But (Y/n) didn't do anything wrong. She told him to back off and he didn't listen.. U-Unlike you who does what she wants!" Kyo blushed as she looked into Rin's grey eyes. Rin blushed at Kyo's brown eyes that stared into her own before getting a hold of herself back and responded with her hand held towards her heart as she pretended to be offended.
"Hey you only live once and I follow everyone's rules. Not even my own! Mostly because I don't like being controlled. Screw society!"
"You would not like BDSM" (Y/n) immediately blurted out without thinking. Kyoko looked confused before Rin left her mouth agape. She herself didn't think about what she said until she said it, but she surely didn't regret it. Rin gasped and dramatically covered Kyoko's ears before glaring down at (Y/n), "How dare you say that around innocent Kyo! Besides, you know I'd be the dominant not the submissive"
"Fair" (Y/n) nodded agreeingly as Kyoko removed Rin's hand off her ears before pouting, "What happened?" Both girls laughed at the innocent response before walking towards their classroom with Kyoko trailing behind.
For (Y/n), the day just started and she didn't like how so many rumors were already going around in the morning, but she was glad she was able to talk to her friends to help her moods lift up. Much to her dismay, the day just started she still had to ignore her 'senpai', and continue to ignore him for the next month. 'Alright', she thought as she watched her two friends chat in front of her now, ' I just have to deal with him for a month... It's April 20th now... so I have exactly until May 20th until I'm free.' Suddenly, (Y/n) froze in her steps as a thought popped up in her mind, 'He never said I had to communicate or talk to him. I can just easily ignore him!' She excitedly squealed at the thought, ignoring the weird glances her friends gave her, but as quick as the joy came it left just as quick. A smooth voice disrupted her thoughts and a lot of mindless chatter by nearby students also filled the emptiness of the hallways, "Hey (Y/n)-chan!"
She just had to jinx herself, she looked in front of her determined before turning around to look at the tall handsome blonde male, ''I guess the game starts now.' Immediately, she made eye contact with a familiar pair of haunting hazel eyes that hid behind a pair of black thick plastic glasses, his figure losing distance the closer he walked towards her. Reaching a few feet away from her, he raised up his hand in a waving gesture and a plastered smile. Ryuu stopped a foot away from (Y/n), she didn't think it'd be easy to just avoid him right? He already planned out on how to seduce the young girl and what every step would be along the way; however, what he hadn't planned on was to have the girl look at him with a knowing smirk instead of dread. What she did next completely baffled him, she turned back around and continued walking off in another direction, completely ditching her friends once again who were just watching in confusion before chasing after her. Ryuu wasn't sure if she was knowingly pissing him off by ignoring him, his sweet nice gestures, and walking off. He didn't handle being ignored too well, after all no one ignored Ryuu since he made sure he was always the center of attention. The first bell rang for class to start, nearly ignored by Ryuu who was stunned at the reaction he got. Lost in thought he didn't notice a figure pop up next to him until he felt an arm get put around his shoulders and spoke, "Hah, good job smart one. I can see I'm winning the bet, hmm?" Abe laughed, his voice rang next to Ryuu's left ear.
"How do you always know when to pop up at the right time, Abe?" Ryuu groaned and shrugged off Abe before he could fully lose his cool demeanor. Eyes were constantly on Ryuu who did not want to be looked at right now, especially because he was still ticked off at the first year's cold shoulder towards him. He was not sure he's able to keep up his fake smile to the faculty and students walking by him. Abe noticed his friend's disdain and smirked when he saw Ryuu roll his eyes then take off into the direction of his little pawn. His eyes quickly roamed around to look for the (h/c) prey before his fox-like eyes locked on her form that was pushing past students and rushing away from the male, her friends on her tail. Finding his target among the crowd, he rushed towards her, which wasn't hard since his legs were longer than hers and once he had caught up to (Y/n) he grasped her wrist that felt small in his hand, "Hey (Y/n)-chan! What's wrong?"
The girl pouted while she looked at him for a few seconds in silence before she rolled her big round eyes and aggressively shook Ryuu's hand off her wrist then continued to ignore him. She brushed him off and walked away once again, leaving Ryuu there standing by himself with an unamused look on his face, "She's not playing the game right if she's just going to ignore me for the rest of the month." Ryuu growled under his breath which earned a few concerned stares from nearby students.
"S-Senpai are you alright?" Ryuu's eyes shifted from the girl and onto a girl much shorter than he was with brown short hair and obvious fake nerd like glasses. Ryuu cleaned up his demeanor as quickly as he could with a smile on his face, what was this girl's name again? Oh yeah, "Ah, Emiko-san! Thank you for asking, but I'm alright! Just can't understand why she is so upset with me." Ryuu replied, scratching his head and mustering the most innocent look on his face. The girl's brown eyes widened as her cheeks erupted with a blush before shuffling in her stance while she pulled at her long sleeved uniform sweater, "Se-Senpai not everyone needs to like you. Especially someone like her! She had no right to curse you out in front of everyone! She's just a rude delinquent... Oh I'm sorry that came out really rude and I-" The bell chimed at the moment and Emiko was cut off. Ryuu mentally rolled his eyes at the 'lame' attempt to cheer him up, but pretended to take it into consideration for his own sake, "Thank you Emiko-san that honestly made me feel better, but let's go to class so we won't be late, yeah? I'll walk you to your classroom in return!" Her face flamed up ever more so before she shook her head so quickly it almost gave her a whiplash, "N-No! That's alright!"
'Only if that first year would do this with me, but it wouldn't be a game if it was easy I suppose.' Ryuu thought as he tilted his head, "Ah, it's because you don't like me either, huh?" he faked a sad expression, "it's alright, I'll leave you alone then."
Emiko panicked and instinctively grasped Ryuu's arm as he turned away, "I-I'm sorry! That's not what I meant. I just don't want to waste your time and.." Ryuu's face lifted up in a smile, "Ah I'm so glad then. I shouldn't have insisted." The girl once again shook her head and looked down at her feet, "N-No it's fine. We can walk to my classroom if you won't be in trouble.."
Ryuu nodded and followed Emiko side by side, but when her back turned against him he immediately dropped his act and held an annoyed yet tired face as he forced himself to walk with the girl upstairs. He contemplated on her words, 'What that girl said was true and quite frankly I wouldn't have cared either way if it was anyone else, but this situation is different since I need to win this game.' Ryuu thought to himself as he put on a smile when the girl in front of him stopped next to a second year class door before she bowed to him, thanked him and then rushed into her classroom where he heard other girls squeal at his appearance. Ryuu waved off the girl with a smile on his face and then turned around right as the second bell rang for the tardy bell. Hearing the chime, the male winced before he walked up towards his third year classroom and slid open the metallic door while his face held a solemn look towards the teacher, Ryuu scratched the back of his head as he bowed simultaneously toward his old teacher and his classmates, "Sorry for being late! My fault!"

The school day went by fairly quickly, although hectic, since (Y/n) had to completely dodge Ryuu. All day she was able to successfully ignore her senpai, and it was really exhausting. During the lunch break she noticed Ryuu walking towards her classroom, to which made her question how he knew what class she was in, and before he had gotten any closer to her she was able to pat one of her classmates shoulders and pointed towards the blonde male saying she thinks he wanted to talk to them. Soon enough the classmate fangirled and ran up towards the third year before he could make a move. (Y/n) smiled when her plan had worked before she ran off in another direction and out of her senpai's sight. Various times throughout the day, she had to move from place to place since she spotted Ryuu enter the area. At first it was during lunch and like the day since school started she was on top of the roof with her two friends, but once she heard Ryuu's honey silk voice echo behind her she dropped her bento causing the contents to spill out all over the floor before she quickly ditched her friends. The goose chase did not end until she reluctantly decided to stay inside the girls restroom throughout the rest of the break. As time continued on she watched the clock with joy as the long hand ticked to turn three, simultaneously the bell also chimed signaling the end of the school day. The class stood up from their desks as their chairs scratched against the wooden floor in synchronization, bowed to their teacher then patiently waited for the teacher to leave before they themselves began to pack up. (Y/n) rushed out the door as she eagerly pushed some students out of the way. She already sacrificed her breaks with her friends so she can avoid Ryuu and she wasn't going to waste that sacrifice now. After all, her goal was to ignore Ryuu for the rest of the month since he gave no rules for their little 'game' or bet and now that it was the end of the day (Y/n) had to quickly head back to her apartment. 'Okay (Y/n) one day down, 30 to go.' She mentally sighed as she thought about her new procedure for the next month. Luckily for her, she was a first year and since first years are on the first floor she was able to reach the entrance quicker. Her (E/c) eyes settled on the gates of the school which began to get closer as she kept on walking with hope filled in herself, but once she heard a familiar masculine voice call out her name from behind her she knew she had to make a break for it. Automatically, she began to run towards the school gates, ignoring the curious stares in the process. She heard her name get called again and after at least five minutes of running around aimlessly she stopped beside a tree, believing that she was at a safe distance. She hunched over and held her knees in her hand and began gasping for air while also wanting to vomit. She looked behind her to see if the male had followed her, but much to her luck he hadn't or at least she thought so. Her heart lifted in relief before it came crashing down when she heard the same voice on the other side of the tree, she sighed in defeat.
"You know (Y/n), it's not nice to ignore people." Ryuu smirked as he leaned against the tree, a hair not seemingly out of place. The said girl, after a minute of gaining her breath back, straightened herself out before glaring at the male with her (e/c) eyes, "And it's rude to constantly follow someone who told you to leave them alone."
(Y/n) decided to make another break for it, but Ryuu had enough of chasing her around so he roughly grabbed her wrist making her body turn back around to look at him. "Hey puppet" he sneered when his face got closer to her, "if you keep this up you won't be winning the game anytime soon." (Y/n) wasn't planning on listening to him until she heard his words. She looked up at him with distaste, her mouth opened wide and her eyes almost popped out of her head before her shocked expression turned into a glare at the male before her, "Hey now that wasn't the deal. You never said I had to talk to you for the month. Your loss for not clarifying the rules of the game, now bye." To Ryuu's surprise, he felt his mood lighten up when he heard her voice for the first time that day. He pushed the feeling then leaned against the tree, letting go of her now bruised wrist, "Now puppet.... don't have that tone with me, and technically I never said you could nor couldn't do that so how about we set some rules now."
"You can't just-" (Y/n) had her full attention on her tormentor, much to his relief as she panicked when he began to talk over her,
"Rule one: no ignoring the other participant." He held up his right hand and his index finger popped up in front of them both.
"Hold one now-" She tried to stop him again, but he continued the rules of the game.
"Rule two: no backing out of the deal." He placed his middle finger up next to the index finger, "Rule three: no shortcuts from the deal", another finger was added, "Lastly rule four: NO lying about each other's feelings. Got it?" the fourth and final pinky finger popped up, solidifying his decision.
(Y/n)'s eyes widened before they lowered to glare at him and as if Ryuu knew what she was going to say he cut her off again, "If you don't obey these rules then you won't win the game. I hold to my deals and never break a promise." His hazelnut eyes met her own, his eyes showing his seriousness about his new form of entertainment, "Trust me. Now, are we clear?"
She held her mouth shut, but held a scowl as she curled up her fists as she maintained eye contact with the predator. With the look in his eyes right now, (Y/n) knew she wouldn't be able to say no to him without any repercussions, so she nodded before answering with pure hatred in her voice, "Fine whatever. I'm going home now"
Ryuu, relieved to finally get everything established, he let the girl turn around and walk away, watching her every angry step. Underneath the oak tree, covered by the shade it brought he chuckled. Now the game can actually begin, after all he knows he won't lose to a first year. Especially to a girl who like most are hopeless romantics and want a nice good handsome guy to sweep them off their feet. Besides, he couldn't let this girl win since Ryuu didn't exactly like the idea of being 'beaten' at his own game. Never had that happen before and he doesn't plan on it to happen in the near future. He'll make sure that girl and everyone around him moves to his orders, like how it's supposed to be.
