Marry me again

When I woke up, I immediately look for my phone and see the time. It’s four in the morning and I have to get up before he woke up. His arms are wrapped around my waist and I don’t know how to get up. I waited for him to at least move his hands and thankfully he did! I didn’t think twice to get up and place a pillow beside him. I hope that would work. I rush to the kitchen and get out all the ingredients I’ll need. I decided to bake a cake for him first and while it’s still in the oven I started preparing for his favorite foods. Shocks! I’m really nervous that he’ll get up and see me preparing here in the kitchen na sobrang kalat na.

After some time his mom called me while I was making the cake and told me they are on their way as well as my parents to help me prepare. I’ll expect the girls to be here around six am dahil for sure mahihirapan silang gisingin si Eron. Atlas messaged me as well na papunta na silang apat and he reminded me about Ate Prim. Hay Atlas if you just move your ass now at magpa pansin kay ate baka kayo na ulit. Nararamdaman kong rurupok sayo si Ate Prim.

I’m currently making Beef Stroganoff and Salisbury Steak. Buti na lang at hindi ko napag papalit ang mga ingredients ng dalawa. Gosh! Nakalimutan kong hindi pa pala ako nakakapag toothbrush at hilamos man lang, buti na lang at may extrang toothbrush sa common restroom kaya nag ayos na muna ako nang maihalo ko na lahat ng ingredients at inaantay na lang na maluto ang mga iyon. I still have to make spaghetti, lasagne, fish fillet, chicken fillet and cordon bleu. Good luck to you Klerah

Pagbalik ko ng kusina ay nakita ko sila mama kasama ang parents ni Lucas na pinapasok na pala ni kuya Raegan.

“Oh hija... Good morning” bati ni Mommy Laura

“Good morning po” bumeso ako sa kanila ni Dad at lumapit naman ako kanila mama

“Good morning parents” I said at nag flying kiss sa kanila. Pabiro akong kinurot ni mama sa tagiliran

“Loko loko ka talaga. Ano pang dapat lutuin?”

“Uhm, fish fillet, chicken fillet, spaghetti, lasagne and cordon bleu pa... Kaso baka magising na yung isa”

“It’s fine hija, may mga stove pa naman dito at kayang mapag sabay sabay and about the spaghetti, don’t worry I already cooked it” sabi ni mommy sabay itinuro ang nasa lamesa.

“Oh thank you po! Lucas would love that, nabanggit niya sa akin na it’s been a long time since he had your spaghetti” ngumiti sa akin si mommy at tumingin kay dad na parang nagmamayabang at nagkibit balikat lang si dad na natatawa

“Don’t worry about the lasagne Klerah, that’s my specialty nakakalimutan mo na ba? I already cooked it nandoon sa lagayan” tinuro din ni mama sa akin ang katabing bag nung dala ng parents ni Lucas. I looked at my mom shocked

“Wow thanks ma... Sila ate ba pupunta?”

“Pupunta ang mga 'yon, alam mo namang mahihirap gisingin ang mga iyon pero nandoon naman ang kuya Coen mo may taga gising sila” tumango tango ako habang hinahalo ang mga niluluto. 

Mama asked kung nasaan ang mga ingredients for chicken and fish fillet at nang maituro ko ay nagsimula na silang dalawa ni mommy kumilos. Ang tatay naman namin ni Lucas ay nandon sa pool area at nag kakape.

“Klerah nag text ang tita Wenna mo, siya na daw ang bahala sa cordon bleu. Sumakto na yun daw talaga ang dadalhin niya ngayon at nandito na rin daw sila within one hour”

“Ma pakisabi kay tita thank you” tumango lang si mama tsaka bumalik sa pag gawa ng fish fillet.

After 30 minutes ay okay na ang Beef Stroganoff at Salisbury Steak. Hinayaan ko na sila mama na magluto ng mga fillet dahil aayusin ko pa ang cake. I looked at the time and it's almost six

“Hello, good morning po” sabay sabay na sabi nila Atlas

“Good morning din mga hijo, nag breakfast na kayo?” tanong ni mommy Laura

“Kape lang po tita” sagot ni Kree

“May toast breads dyan and omelettes, go boys help yourself. Kumain ka na rin Reagan” nakita ko si kuya na kasama si Asher at mga walang pakundangan naman silang naglakad palapit para kumuha ng makakain dahil sa sinabi ni mama

“May loaf bread din dyan if you want” dagdag ko

“Thank you!” sabay sabay nilang sabi. Napailing na lang ako at natawa sa kanila

“Uhm Atlas pag okay na kayong kumain pwedeng pabomba nung mga balloons?” tinuro ko ang paperbag na may laman nung pinabili ko kanila Averill kahapon

“Sure. We'll do it now. You know we’re expert on multitasking”

“Balloons ang lalagyan ng hangin bakit sayo na napunta?” napatigil siya ng nguya kaya natawa ako maging ang mga kaibigan niya na nakarinig ay natatawa rin siyang tignan

“It’s okay bro. Klerah’s mouth will never change” tinapik tapik pa ni kuya Reagan ang balikat ni Atlas tsaka ko nakitang nag smirked ang loko

“Yeah right, basta Kley yung deal natin ah” I rolled my eyes at him tsaka binalik ang focus sa pag aayos ng cake

After twenty minutes I finally finished the cake kaya naman sinecure ko na muna. Tinignan ko sila Atlas at tapos na nilang lagyan ng hangin ang lahat ng balloons. Wow? Wow na lang talaga....

“Tapos niyo na?” tanong ko pagkalapit sa kanila

“Yes, wala bang mahirap hirap Kley?” tanong ni Griffin

“Ay grabe! Lahat yata kayo nalagyan din ng hangin”

“Uy Klerah not me” nakita kong nagtaas pa ng dalawang kamay si Kree

“Not me either” Asher said na ginaya si Kree

“I won’t be like those two eggheads” Maddox said na nag taas din ng kamay

“Oops Kley you know me” natatawa kong tinignan si kuya Raegan na tinuro pa ako bago itaas ang kamay

“What are you? A wanted surrendering to my cousin?” takang tanong na may halong pang aasar ni kuya Coen. They're here now?

“Kuya! Good morning” lumapit sa akin si kuya tsaka ginulo ang buhok ko

“Good morning Kley. Why are they like that?”

“Bro we’re just telling Klerah that we’re not like this two idiot eggheads na napaka hangin” Maddox explained to kuya

“Oh really? The four of you? Since when?” They’re really close huh

“Man! Yo hurtin’ me ya know?” Kuya Reagan acted as if he’s really hurt. May pa hawak hawak pa siya sa left chest part niya.

“Hey Rig! I’m the actor here” nandidiri naman nilang tinignan si Griffin

“So bago pa namin masapak si Griffin, what to do next?”

“Uhm... Those are –”

“Tata Kley!” lumingon ako sa bandang pintuan at nakita sila Eloah na papasok.

“Hello Eron, Good morning”

“Good morning tata. Kahlea where?” napangiti ako at napataas ang kilay kay Eloah

“Kahlea’s still sleeping but later Kahlea and Luca will play with you” tumango si Eron sa akin tsaka lumapit kay Kree nang tawagin nito at inalok ng pagkain

“So, sa ceiling yung ibang balloons then meron sa wall and yung iba scattered lang sa floor”

“Okay. How about the pictures?” Oh yeah the pictures. Buti pinaalala ni kuya

“Ididikit sa dulo nung mga tali”

“Kami na bahala dito K. Balik ka na sa kwarto niyo” sabi ni Ailey

“Thanks mga sis. Thank you mga kuya” sabi ko sakanila at pare parehas silang nag make face sa akin. Ang galing talaga

Bumalik akong kusina at nakita sila mama na patapos na sa mga niluluto at sinabihan ko sila na babalik muna akong kwarto at pinaalalahanan ko rin sina Averill na itext lang ako

Pagbalik ko ng kwarto ay nakita kong natutulog pa rin ang tatlo kaya naligo na muna ako. Pag labas ko ay nakita kong gising na si Luca pero tulala pa kaya naman kinuhaan ko muna ng damit na maisusuot tsaka pinaliguan at pina breastfeed. Buti na lang ay hindi siya nag iingay at tuwing sesenyasan ko na wag maingay ay gagayahin din niya ako. Tinext ko si Averill na sunduin dito sa kwarto si Luca dahil napaliguan ko na at hindi rin nagtagal ay dumating na siya at isinama na sa baba. Akala ko pa ay pipilitin kong magising si Kahlea pero nang bahagyang kilitiin ko ay nagising naman siya. Hindi na ako nagsayang ng oras at pinaliguan na rin bago magpa breastfeed at buti na lang rin ay hindi sila nag iingay kaya tulog pa rin hanggang ngayon yung isa. Si Ailey naman ang sumundo kay Kahlea at sinabing okay na sa baba pwede ko ng gisingin.

I wore my white high-waisted short and black halter top at nag ayos ng sarili bago ko gisingin yung isa. After five minutes sumampa ako sa kama tsaka dumagan sa kanya

“Lucas...” bulong ko

“Why? Sleep more baby” His eyes are still close but he wrapped his arms around me

“I don’t want to. Wake up now my handsome daddy husband” nagsimula akong halik halikan ang buong mukha niya

“Did the twins wake you up early? Hmmm?” tanong niya na nakapikit pa rin

“Baby wake up. Good morning!”  dumilat siya at tinitigan ako

“Are we going somewhere?” takang tanong niya

“I’m hungry, let’s get some breakfast” he gave me a peck on my lips

“You should’ve told me earlier. Where’s the twins?”

“Living room. Take a bath now Lucas” he close his eyes for a bit and rolled me over kaya ngayon siya na ang nasa ibabaw. He gave me a kiss on my forehead and smile at me

“You’re going to wait me here? Who’s with the kids?”

“Yup. They’re playing with kuya Reagan” Thank you brain cells nakaisip tayo ng palusot kaagad

“Okay. I won’t take long” pumasok na siya sa bathroom kaya agad kong tinext si Averill to inform them that he's already awake. After some time he get out ftom the bathroom looking fresh wearing his bathrobe. Hindi talaga siya inaabot ng one hour huh.

Pagkalabas niya sa walk in closet ay napatitig lang ako sa kanya. He’s sporting a cream colored casual short and a navy blue shirt. Damn! My husband’s hot

He reached his hand for me nang okay na siya sa pag aayos tinanggap ko naman iyon pagkatapos kong mag reply kay Averill na pababa na kami.

“Who are you texting?”

“Wala naman” huminto siya tsaka tinignan ako

“You’re lying”

“Come on Lucas” hinila ko na siya para magsimulang maglakad. I looked at him and he’s sulking. Aww my baby. Hindi ko na lang iyon pinansin at nagpatuloy sa pag lalakad pababa ng hagdan hanggang sa makarating kami sa first floor. Everyone is on their places and waiting for us.

“Happy Birthday Lucas!” I looked at Lucas beside and he’s really shocked when he saw the people here

“Happy Birthday, baby” bulong ko sakanya habang papalapit kami sa living room.

“You planned this?” nakangiting tanong niya at tumango pang ako sa kanya.

Kinuha ko ang cake na inaabot sa akin ni mama. It’s a rectangular choco mocha cake and we sang a happy birthday to him before he blow his candles

“Wow, thank you everyone. I didn’t expect this”

“Bro you’re lucky to have Kley. She planned everything” Sabi ni Asher sa kanya

“Yeah right my son. She’s awake early in the morning to cook your favorites and we just helped her on the others because she’s nervous that you might wake up already” lumapit siya sa akin tsaka ako hinalikan sa mga labi at sa sentido

“Thank you... I love you so much my wife” napangiti na lang ako dahil sa binulong niya. I motioned him to look at the pictures and I saw him laughing while looking at those. I get our twins and told them to greet dada happy birthday

He’s now with his sibling while I am here with my cousins and the girls taking pictures. Sila mama naman ang nag aayos sa lamesa para makakain na kami.

I could see the happiness in him and that’s what I wanted. I actually invited Erina but she said she’s currently out of the country. Na kay Ate Prim naman si Kahlea while Ate Wella is playing with Luca and Eron. I told Atlas and Kree to go with them at dumamoves na.

After we eat at magligpit ngayon ay nasa living room kaming lahat at nagkaka kwentuhan. Nagpaalam si Lucas na he'll go back to our room dahil may kukunin so I just let him. Kuya Drew started strumming the guitar at nagsimula silang magkantahan. I'm just sitting on the single couch taking videos and pictures of them. Dumating naman si kuya Coen na may dala dalang beatbox na hindi ko alam kung saan galing.

“Lucas kanta ka!” udyok ni ate Laureen kay Lucas na kababalik lang sa living room

“Sure” lumapit siya kanila kuya at hindi ko marinig ang pinag uusapan nila. Nakita ko ang gulat sa expression ng mga mukha nila at bahagyang napapagawi sa akin ang mga tingin. Nakita ko ang pag iling habang nakangiti at natatawa ng dalawa kong pinsan. Maya maya ay humarap na siya sa akin at nagsimulang mag strum si kuya Drew at mga nakatingin lang kami sa kanila nag aantay ng gagawin nila

We all cheered when they finished their mini and short concert. May inabot na bouquet of flowers si kuya Reagan sa kanya tsaka lumapit sa akin

“Alessia... You’re the best person came into my life unexpectedly. You made me fall in love with you even by just staring at you while you’re doing whatever you wanna do. Thank you for always making me feel better, for making efforts to make me so much happy and thank you for loving me” iniabot niya sa akin ang bouquet tsaka may kinuha sa bulsa niya at lumuhod.

“Please marry me again Alessia” My mouth are parted looking at him waiting for my answer. Narinig ko ang hiyawan ng mga tao sa paligid and I started tearing up.

“Yes Lucas.. I’ll marry you again” I saw him smiled widely bago tumayo sa pagkakaluhod at isuot sa akin ang singsing at bigyan ako ng isang malalim na halik

I looked at the ring and it’s a 14 karat white gold diamond under halo ring. Smells expensive huh

“You really planned to propose today?”

“Yes and you made it more perfect by inviting our families and friends”

“Thank you Lucas. I love you” I hold his cheeks at tumingkayad para mahalikan siya sa labi

“I’m excited to have you later”

“Ay hindi ba cancelled?” he slightly laughed at ibinaon ang mukha sa gilid ng ulo ko

“Not gonna happen baby” I just chuckled at him tsaka hinarap sila mama na kanina ko pa nakikitang gustong lumapit

This time I don’t have to fake my smile and laughs to everyone because this time, we’re really engaged. For real! Everything is real now and we don’t have to act. I never thought that this man is madly in love with me since then. We both have been through a lot. I thought he cheated on me with his ex, I’ve been in a traumatic experience, we’ve been separated and he have been alone for two years while finding me and hoping that I am in a safe place. We really do have a lot of stories to tell. Going to the bar that night and opening the door of that restroom used to be my regretful moments before but now, I’m thankful that somehow I came with my friends and became careless.

I had so much realization when he came into my life. There’s really someone meant for each and every one of us. They’ll come into our life when we least expected it. They will drive your life crazy and made you forget about the promises you had for yourself. They can take down the walls you had that serves as your shield to someone coming in to your life. It’s not really wrong to guard your heart because it’s really difficult to get hurt; especially by the person that you really love. When I realized that I’m falling in him, I got scared that he might not feel the same but I should have told him about my feelings earlier. Well, I guess if you’re really meant for each other God will really make your feet comes back to where your love one is. I’m glad that I stick myself to him and now I am totally contented with my life together with him and our children
