Balcony

The days after my dress fitting are so boring since I don’t have anything to do on the preparations for the upcoming wedding. I tried to talk about it to Lucas but he really won’t let me go back to work. He sometimes let me come with him to his office at talagang certified tambay lang ako doon habang may mga meeting siya.

His employees already know about me as his fiancé. His executive assistant told me that most of the employees are shocked when they knew about it and I understand that. They thought of me as his new executive assistant and then ngayon nakikita nila ako na kasa-kasama ni Lucas as his fiancé.

Sometimes I would spend my days with the girls and of course with Eron. Lucas will just pick me up there from his work when I forgot about the time and we’ll have dinner outside together. Minsan naman I go home early so I can prepare dinner for us before he comes home.

We really look and act like a real couple. It's just like everything we do is natural for us. I told myself I should get a hold of myself whenever he’s around but my self is giving in to him easily because of his own ways.

Maybe this is what you can call ‘suicide’. I am letting myself get hurt and be drowned to my feelings for him. Even I, don’t know how to stop my heart beating erratically for him.
I guess I just gotta enjoy this fake relationship we have. Hindi pwedeng siya lang ang masaya, I should make myself happy as well. #Saya ngayon, iyak later.

Funny how I told myself that I won’t fall for someone like him pero here I am, can’t even control my own feelings. Hindi mo talaga dapat pinapangunahan ang lahat ng bagay since you wouldn’t know what will happen and what’s the story prepared for you.

Kahit ilang beses ko pang ipagpilitan na wala akong nararamdaman sa kanya, na all of this is just an infatuation, na hindi pwede. In the end alam kong niloloko ko lang ng niloloko ang sarili ko sa hindi pag tanggap ng katotohanan.

I let my guard down, I let him shatter the wall, I let him enter my life easily. Naging kampante ako na he’s just a phase I have to walk through just like the phase I had before. I didn’t expect him to have this kind of effect to me.

The foreign feelings he can give me, the things he do to me, the words he say, the care he’s showing me, the smile and look he is giving me. All of it. Hinahanap hanap na ng sarili ko lahat ng ginagawa niya. Lahat ng minarka niya sa isip at puso ko na siya lang ang may kakayahang gawin sa akin.

We are now inside their limousine and heading back to their mansion here in Milan. It’s been a week already since we’ve been here in Italy and for the past days that we’re here, we have been able to travel a lot. “Nothing” I answered as I looked outside the window.

Traditional wedding pa rin naman ang mangyayari so expected na namin ni Lucas na puro pamahiin ang maririnig namin bukas. And the day after tomorrow will be the day. Our wedding day.

I’m actually excited to see the place and the arrangements. Well, I bet everything would be arranged perfectly just like what is planned.

“Do we have to prepare our own vows?” I asked him without moving my head from his shoulder

“Yes...” tumango na lang ako at naramdaman kong hinalikan niya ang ulo ko. And again, butterflies are playing inside my stomach as my heart beats weirdly with what he did.

I am thinking of the vow I’ll make for him....Gosh! This is so hard! But vows can be an extra point to make people around us believed that our marriage is legit.

It’s already 8 in the evening when we arrived home. Naghiwalay naman kami at pumunta sa kanya kanyang rooms para makapag ayos at makapag dinner. Humiga muna ako sa higaan ko at nagpahinga saglit bago magsimulang maligo.

I wore my blush pink silk camisole pajama at pinatungan lang ng same color silk satin robe. Binitbit ko ang phone ko at tumingin muna sa salamin para makita ang ayos ko bago bumaba para kumain. Hindi na ako pumayag na gumastos nanaman si Lucas kanina dahil nung nakaraan pa niya ako dinadala sa mga high end restaurants! Parang yung bunganga ko na lang mismo yung umaayaw lalo na kapag naaalala ko yung presyo ng mga ino-order niya.

Their house is really showing riches and elegance. House is an understatement actually; it’s supposed to be called mansion. Nung unang araw pa namin dito ay naligaw ligaw pa ako dahil sa laki kaya naman nagpa tour pa ako kay Lucas. Paintings are everywhere to be found and he told me that Tita Laura loves painting so much.

Nasa huling baitang na ako ng hagdan nang mapansin si Lucas na nakaupo sa sofa at nag aantay sa akin. Napatigil ako saglit at gustong matawa ng sobra dahil sa itsura niyang sobrang kunot ang noo. Agad siyang tumayo at lumapit sa akin. He's wearing now his navy blue silk pajama and the first three buttons of his top are un-buttoned again.

“Alessia, what are you wearing?” I can’t help but to giggle

“Uhm... My nighty attire. Why?” he doesn’t like this from the very start. Halos mag away pa kami nung nakita niyang ganto ang bibilhin ko.

“Why are you wearing that?”

“Why? What’s wrong with this? Huh?” his jaw clenched and he just look away

“Let’s just eat” tinalikuran naman niya ako pero bumalik rin siya at hinila ako para magsimula nang maglakad

“Suuuus! Ang arte mo ah. Do you find me sexy, Lucas?”

“Shut up woman!” I let out a bark of laughter and just stop when we reached their dining area.

Kunot noo niya akong ipinag hila ng upuan at nilagyan ng pagkain ang plato ko. I guess he got used to it; taking care of me. Haaay Lucas, hindi mo rin dapat ako sinasanay e!

Umupo siya sa tabi ko at nagsimula na kaming kumain. Hindi niya ako kinakausap kaya hindi na rin ako nagsalita buong oras na kumakain kami. Pagkatapos naman ay hindi ako ang nag huhugas ng plato dahil may mga katulong sila dito. Pumunta akong balcony nila dahil ayoko pang pumasok ulit ng kwarto.

Iniangkla ko ang mga braso sa railing ng balcony tsaka tumingala para makita ang mga bituin at buwan. They can really make me calm kahit naman alam ko na kalmado ako, basta pag tumingala ako at nakita ang kalangitan mas kumakalma ako

I was breathing normally hanggang sa maramdaman kong may mga bisig na pumulupot sa baywang ko galing sa likod na dahilan ng pagwawala ng buong sistema ko. I felt him kissing my head again before he put his head on my shoulder bagay na natural na lang sa kanya dahil sa araw araw niyang ginagawa.

The next morning I was taken up by the noise of my phone. I opened my eyes lightly to look for it and answer it without looking who’s the caller.

Nagsimula na akong maligo at mag ayos ng sarili. Medyo binilisan ko na rin ang pagkilos para makababa na at makita sila. I badly missed all of them! Sayang lang at wala si Eloah and baby Eron.

I decided to just wear my high-waisted denim short and partnered it to a simple navy blue shirt. I look for my slippers and go out of my room as soon as I turned off everything in the room.

“Klerah!” they said in unison kaya napatigil ako sa pag baba saglit. I saw my parents, brother, cousins, my aunts and uncles and my friends. Even his families are here. I smiled widely to them and rushed to give them a hug

“Miss na miss niyo naman ako! Enebe fans!” biro kong sabi kaya samu't saring batok ang natanggap ko

“Mama! Binatukan ako!” sumbong ko kay mama sabay yakap sa kanya

“Hay nako Klerah hindi ka na dapat sa akin nag susumbong. Andyan na si Lucas oh” mas lalo lang akong yumakap kay mama at umiling iling kaya naman natawa na lang sila

“Lucas, sure ka na ba kay Klerah?” sinamaan ko ng tingin si ate Wella. Aba aba aba ate, kung alam mo lang na siya mismo ang may kailangan sa’kin.

Tinignan ko ang damuhong may mapaglarong ngiti sa mukha habang naka tingin sa akin

“Yeah.... I am” iniwas ko ang tingin dahil naaalala ko yung nangyari sa amin kagabi. Kaliwa’t kanan naman ang pang aasar nila sa akin dahil sa kinikilig daw ako.

It’s still 9 am here and we’re currently having our meal. I am seated beside Lucas at kanina pa niya kinukurot ang binti ko. Gustong gusto ko na talaga murahin ang isang ‘to e, yung with feelings din.

Hindi ko na siya pinansin buong oras na kumakain kami dahil puro asar na lang sa paligid ang natatanggap namin. We were told as well na sa iba muna tutuloy si Lucas hanggang bukas dahil it's a tradition daw.

“Wala kang bridal shower Klers?” tanong ni ate Prim. Oo nga no?

“Wala ate”

“Ay bakit? May mga kakilala pa naman akong hot guys na pwedeng –”

“Nope. I won't have my bachelor party so, no bridal shower for her” putol ni Lucas sa sinasabi ni ate Prim

“Ay possessive! Let’s just have some fun na lang Klers. No boys” tumaas naman ang kilay ko kay ate dahil hindi ko alam kung anong balak niya

“Yeah let’s go shopping na lang!” this time it’s Averill who talked na sinang ayunan naman ng lahat ng babae

So after we eat dumiretso na kami sa kanya kanyang mga kwarto para mag prepare. I chose a black squarepants plus a black square neck crop top and wear white sneakers. I made sure that everything I’ll need is on my sling bag before I get out of my room.

Nang makarating ako sa baba I saw my friends sitting on the sofa wearing their outfits. Talagang ayaw magpa kabog ng mga ‘to!

Tumingin ako kay Lucas at mapang asar na ngumiti. He just raised an eyebrow at me after he scanned thoroughly my outfit.

“Wala pa sila ate?” umiling naman ang dalawa sa akin at tsaka ako umupo sa tabi ni Lucas na nasa kabilang sofa. Gulat naman ako dahil hindi niya pinuna ang suot ko. Marahil ay napagod at nagsawa na sa kapupuna.

I felt him giving small traces of kisses on my shoulder blade that sends shivers all over my body. Tinignan ko naman siya ng masama but he just lazily looked at me

“Use my card when you shop” umiling ako sa sinabi niya tsaka ipinatong ang ulo sa balikat niya.

“I’ll use my own money. Tsaka masyado na akong maraming napamili nung mga nakaraan” ngayon ay pinaglalaruan niya ang singsing ko at biglang pinatanggal.

Nagtaka pa ako pero sinunod din siya. May kinuha siya sa bulsa niya at isinuot sa ring finger ko ang isang rose gold princess cut diamond ring with two bands that’s full of diamons as well.

What is this?......shit?!  Ganito pala yung feeling kapag sinuotan ka ng engagement ring. This ring is shouting luxury and beauty! Magkano nanaman kaya ang nagastos niya para dito?

“Lucas.....” I still can’t get my eyes off the ring on my finger. Buti na lang ay pumunta munang kusina sila Averill. Wala rin ang mga kamag anak ko dahil nasa mga kanya kanyang kwarto na.

“I love it! But you don’t have to give me this ring Lucas, I know it’s expensive and –”

It’s been three hours of shopping already and I’m really tired. We did some photo shoots lalo na kapag may nakikitang magagandang view at kapag may chance. We had food tripping as well and I could say, iba talaga kapag mga babae ang kasama mo sa lugar na ganito. I used his card dahil kinuha niya kanina yung cards ko para masigurado niya na card niya yung gagamitin. Tarantado talaga! Napakasigurusta.

“Klerah! Bago nanaman ‘tong engament ring mo?” Ate Prim asked habang hawak hawak at itinaas pa ang left hand ko

“Uhm... Yeah, pinalitan niya” akala ko hindi nila mapapansin dahil parehas din naman rose gold.

“Fuck! Ang ganda!” sabat naman ni Ailey

“Nasaan na yung dati mong ring?” ipibakita ko naman sakanila ang necklace ko dahil doon ko inilagay kanina.

Iba’t ibang pang aasar naman ang ibinato nila sa akin pero hindi ko na lang sila pinansin. Ngayon ay pauwi na kami dahil tinawagan kami nila mama at nagkasundo daw sila ni tita Laura na mag stay na lang kami sa isang property nila sa Bellagio para hindi na kami babyahe pa bukas ng halos isang oras.

Natulog lang ako buong byahe at nagising lang nang maramdaman ang pagtapik sa akin ni ate Wella. Tumingin tingin ako sa paligid at isa nanaman ito sa magagandang property ng pamilya nila. It's a lake side house kaya mas maganda ang ambiance at mas namangha ako nung makalabas na ako sa sasakyan.

Nang maiayos ko na ang mga gamit ko dito sa kwarto ko ay humiga na ako at nagsimulang mag type ng sasabihing vow para kay Lucas. Ugh! Anong sasabihin ko?

Nakailang gulong, tayo, higa, upo yata ako habang gumagawa ng vow dahil halos wala akong mailagay. I even searched for a sample on the internet and when I got an idea what to write I just keep it short and simple.

After that vow making, I was called to have dinner so, I went down right after. I stayed with them for a while to have some chitchats and when it’s already ten in the evening, they told me to take a rest already.

I went back to my room and take a bath first. It took me a while dahil na enjoy ko masyado ang bathtub. I wore my silk pajamas.
