Cassey's POV:

I was dancing with Caleb but my eyes were wandering on Derrick in every few seconds, 'He's looking so hot.' I thought to my self. I wanted to talk to him and dance with him and not Caleb.

Flipping my hair in air, I showed some moves when I knew that Derrick's eyes were strained on me. I was feeling giddy inside.

"Cass, something's wrong?" Caleb's voice pulled me back to reality.  "No," my answer was short I didn't know what else to say. "Doesn't look like, you look lost," he inquired further. 

I thought for a moment Caleb was a friend, I can talk to him right or maybe its to soon? I couldn't decide. I came closer to Caleb and spoke over music,"Yeah, I will tell you later."

I smiled as my eyes they met Derrick's, he was talking to Jake with soda in his hand, it looked like he forced smile. Why would he do that? was he jealous or he just smiled because I smiled? 

I should talk to him, with that thought I left Caleb, telling him: I needed a drink. He nodded and joined our other friends. I made my way towards Derrick and Jake, shaking my hand in mid-air, I said loudly, "Its too hot in there."

"Oh!", Derrick's mouth formed 'O' shaped, coming closer to me he continued, "I was going to ask you for dance. Looks like its gonna have to wait." 

"I guess," I smiled sheepishly trying hide the blush that threatened to surface because he just asked me for dance, face palming at my stupid start of conversation, "I will get a drink." 

"I will accompany you." Derrick quickly joined me, I looked at Jake, "I.. I am gonna dance." He moved towards floor. 

Fortunately, bar was away from dance floor where you can hear other person just fine. 

"So, what you like to drink?" Derrick asked.

"Mostly beer, I haven't tried alcohol considering I am still underage," I giggled and he chuckled in return. We had reached to bar and he asked for one Corona for himself and looked in my direction, "Shock top, grapefruit." I said immediately, I like the Shock top and  secifically its Grapefruit flavor. Corona isn't bad itself but then I had few preferences. 

"Impressive, Girl knows her beer. I don't get to see this everyday." He looked quite amazed, "No?" I asked surprised. Well, I and Lily know our beer well, Ash and Joce liked wine and Ammy, she never drank, not yet at least. 

"Girls, usually have Red wine, Vodka or drinks like Pina colada. I have hardly seen any girl so particular about her beer." He explained and it made me feel more confident that I had somehow impressed him. I grabbed my beer letting the cool liquid slide down my throat. Maybe he doesn't like silence so he continued, "Its not the only thing that has impressed me about you." I just raised eyebrow questioning him further.  "Well, other day I saw you fight with Jennifer.." noticing at my questioning look, he explained, "waitress served you olives in your pizza?" I nodded in acknowledgement. "Yeah and I have never seen her back down from any fight and you came at her like tigress. It was a show worth watching," he laughed remembering. 

"Wow, I didn't know I had a fan club." I winked trying to be very smooth about it but inside I was jumping like a little kid, the fact that he had noticed me before made my heart flutter with happiness and not only that he was totally impressed by me. Could this evening get any better? 

He chuckled in response, "Yes. I, Jake and Maddy would be the Members."

"Woah! Maddy?" I asked, I couldn't contain my surprise anymore and I was about to spit the drink.

"Yes. Maddy isn't fan of Jennifer, she always manages to get away by using her beauty." 

It hurt me when he told me she was using her beauty to get away,  which means he thought that bitch was beautiful. 

We ordered one more beer, since I was with Derrick bar tender served without noticing that I was not of drinking age. 

I got to know Derrick had one sister, he was planning to do Hotel Management studies because he like planning and managing. I visualized him all dressed up in three-piece suit, image formed in mind was so sexy. My interest was in culinary, I enjoy eating food and also making food. I hardly made anything because of my laziness but whenever I made something it was tasty. As soon he got to know that I cooked food, he invited himself over my place. Everything was happening so smoothly, I was doubting that was it even real or was I just dreaming?

We danced together and also with friends, Lily was giving me knowing smile and Ammy was eyeing me suspiciously, she did not have any idea about Derrick. 

Best thing about hanging out with Derrick was, he was making me feel so special and it felt whatever I did was extraordinary for him. He wasn't like Grace boosting his ego and trying to show off his clothes, gadgets, watch, etc. Derrick was so ground to earth, he made me comfortable around him. 

Earlier, I was crushing over him because of his looks but not anymore there was so much more about him. I didn't get to ask if he was dating someone but he did flirt with me and I was assuming and also hoping that he was single. 

I longingly looked at him as he and Jake sat on bike, it was almost 11 pm. I wondered how it will be like to ride with him on bike at this hour, cold breeze hitting my face along with his cologne and how he smells like. In bar I couldn't figure out anything. 

Caleb was going to sit in back seat with me in Oliver's Car however Ammy, glared at him and motioned him to sit in front. I stopped breathing for a moment, so much had happened and Ammy had no clue about it, she even didn't know who the heck this guy is. She is gonna kill me... for real. 

Whole evening she was glaring at me and her face was confused, I only had introduced Derrick and told him he works at Maddy's, couldn't exactly tell he delivers pizza. I don't really  mind but what if he feels awkward, so I let the details to be told later. 

As she sat by my side, her angry eyes meeting mine, one word left her mouth, "Speak!" 

Without waiting anymore, I started speaking even Oliver and Caleb looked at me, interested to know the whole story. I told her from start where I had seen him for first and then we talked at Maddy's then he came to deliver pizza again at my place. Also, how I and Lily planned this night as well. Caleb was glaring at me because he was part of our plan without even knowing it. 

After we dropped Ammy, Caleb came and sat by my side. Caleb was behaving weird; asking me, why I had invited a delivery boy and also hanging out with him. He also told me that old guys are very smart they manage to deceive girls to get into their pants. 

Now, I was actually scared, I didn't know whether he was really worried for me or just acting an asshole. I hope Derrick wasn't some playboy who knew his way with girls very well. 

After reaching home, I looked at my self in mirror wondering was I really this beautiful that handsome guy like Derrick would fall for me so quickly or he feigning it. My mind started to pile up with insecure thoughts and this was all Caleb's fault. 

A/N

Well, we know that Derrick actually likes Cassey but she doesn't know whole story, I hope it doesn't create any misunderstanding between them. *fingers cross*
