Chapter 6
Ty POV~
The men dragged me out of the room and through an iron door. They then threw me down some stairs and followed my tumbling body, laughing the entire way. I guess they really hate me, huh. Well, I hate them too. I heard a door creak open, and then I was roughly tossed into a cell with rusty bars. The door slammed shut behind me, and I sat up.
There was a small window right before the wall met the ceiling, and it was covered with iron bars. The cell was flooded with water in one corner, and there were shackles hanging from the wall in the corner opposite. They were so rusted that it looked like they would disintegrate if anyone touched them. There was also a small bucket and a part of the floor had a tiny coating of hay on it. I guess they expected me to stay here. I smirked. They had no idea how wrong they were.
~(-_-~) TARDIS time skip to 1 hour before dark (~-_-)~
I'm so booorrrreeeedddddd. There is nothing to do in here, and I untied my ropes a while ago. I would have cut them, but untying them took up more time. Plus it was easier to hold the ends together and act like you were still tied up.
I heard the iron door open. A few moments later, a guard was at my door with a grin on his face.
"Hey, 'spirit'! Guess what?" I silently groaned. He was here to mock me.
"...What?" I asked him.
"They're gonna kill you tomorrow afternoon! Wanna know how?" The guard prompted, his grin growing wider.
"*sigh*... How?" I asked, thoroughly annoyed.
"You're gonna be burned! You're gonna be burned!" The guard sang, laughing maniacally. He then spat on the ground next to me and left, still laughing his head off. These guys are sickos.
~(-_-~) Another TARDIS time skip to when it's dark out (~-_-)~
It was finally time. I threw off the ropes and grabbed my iPod. As I walked to the window, I opened the saw function. I tried to reach the window, and my hand barely touched the bottom. I need something to stand on... I know! The bucket!
I picked up the bucket and flipped it over, placing it under the window. I stood on it, and I could now just see out of the window it i stood on my toes. I started sawing the bars, holding them so that when they came free they wouldn't fall to the ground and make any noise. When I was done, I reviewed my handy work. There was now enough space for me to fit through.
I grabbed the window sill and pulled myself through. Once I was out, I glanced around to make sure no guards had seen me. There wasn't even a guard in sight! I smirked at their stupidity. They were probably off getting drunk and celebrating my "defeat".
I pulled a small remote control out of my pocket. It only had one button on it, an I pressed it. A web of lasers suddenly appeared in between the village and the forest. There was no way they would hurt it now. I smashed the control and started running, slipping from shadow to shadow. After a few minutes, I reached the harbor. Sky appeared and beckoned to me. I followed him, and he led me to an unnamed ship.
"Here she is." Sky told me. I frowned.
"Why doesn't she have a name?" I asked him, and he shrugged.
"We haven't thought of one." He answered truthfully.
"How about... Team Crafted?" I asked him.
"That's perfect! Come on, we gotta go." Sky said, seeing light from the torch of a harbor guard.
"Ok." We ran to the Team Crafted and climbed up using a rope hanging from her railing. The Team Crafted was a magnificent boat.
It was made of acacia wood, and had buttery-yellow sails. It had a figurehead at the prow, which was a beautifully carved dragon, with it's wings coming up on either side and it's legs and claws curled beneath it's body. The flag it flew above the crows nest was a crafting table on a green background. The mess hall was in its usual place on any ship. At the back. The helm was on the top of the mess hall, and two ladders allowed you to access it. I'm guessing that the way below deck is in the mess hall. All together, the Team Crafted is the most beautiful ship I've ever seen.
Sky shook me out of my daydream by pulling me inside the mess hall. As I had guessed, the ways below deck were there. They were two trapdoors in the floor next to the door, right behind the ladders to get to the helm. I noticed that the mess hall doubled as an infirmary, with pads and first aid kits under every table. Sky pushed me down them after the guys hanging out in the mess hall said a quick hello. At the bottom of the ladders, I was pushed through a mother door into Sky's room, or the captain's cabin I guess. He pushed me towards his bed, and I became really nervous. Why his bed? Then Sky moved his bed, the legs scraping slightly against the floor. A secret door was revealed, and I calmed down. He probably just wanted me to go in there.
"Get in and don't come out. I'll be back later to get you." Sky told me, opening the door. It swung towards me, creaking slightly on it's hinges, and I had to duck to get through the opening. (He's not short it's just a small door. It's concealed behind a bed frame, it has to be small!) Sky closed the door behind me, and a few seconds later I heard the bed being dragged back into place.
Then I realized. Since the door opened out wards, and the bed was blocking the door... There was no way out.
