It was the weekend, so that means it was a day of relaxation for Kenji and Kairi. However, their future of a wedding and the two getting married are starting to become even more clear and vivid.

Kenji woke up to Kairi sleeping on his chest the next morning, and a big idea was rushing through his head as he looked over at the sleeping Pirate Princess.

Kenji's mind: I really love you Kairi, and you deserve the world. I'm gonna look and hunt down the perfect engagement ring, but I will need help finding it

Kenji slowly got up from the bed without waking up Kairi and went to make some phone calls.

The Samurai was in the living room on his phone while he listened to the dial tone. The first person he called was Dakota.

Dakota: hello?

Kenji: Dakota, it's Kenji, can you do me a favor?

Dakota: of course, what's up?

Kenji: well first, can you keep a secret?

Dakota: of course, what is it?

Kenji looked over to see that Kairi was still asleep. Then he continued to talk to Dakota.

Kenji: I'm going on a hunt for the perfect engagement ring. I'm seriously thinking of marrying her

Dakota: aww, that is so sweet! So, what do you want me to do?

Kenji: keep Kairi company until I get back

Dakota: you have to at least leave a note telling her where you are

Kenji: right, good idea

Dakota: you need some help to find the ring, got any idea who?

Kenji: oh, I know who!

Dakota: who?

Kenji: Io...

Dakota: oh, good idea! Call her now!

Kenji: are you coming over?

Dakota: yeah, I'll be there in a few minutes

Kenji: alright, see you later

The two ended the call, and then Kenji went to call the Genius of the Sky.

Io: moshi moshi

Kenji: ohayo, Io-san

Io: oh Kenji-kun, why did you call me?

Kenji: well, it's about Kairi

Io: Kairi-san? Nani? Did you something to her?

Kenji: no no, I didn't do anything

Io: oh, not the thing, hmm?

She said as she teasingly smirked at him, making Kenji blush lightly.

Kenji: can we focus on the topic at hand please?

Io giggled.

Io: just having fun with you, so what's going on?

Kenji: Io-san, listen closely... I'm planning to propose to Kairi most likely after Takeover, so I need your help in helping me find the perfect ring for her

Io: aww kawaii! Kenji-kun, anata wa totemo amaidesu

Kenji smirked and nodded.

Kenji: yes, I know, so will you help since you're her best friend

Io: hai, as her best friend and possibly maid of honor, I will help you on your hunt

Kenji: arigato, Io-san

Io: hai, but you need to leave something for her to know

Kenji: I'm gonna leave a note and Dakota is coming over

Io: okay good, meet me in my room in a few minutes

Kenji: hai!

The Samurai hung up and went to wash up and change his clothes. Then he went to write the note and at the same time covering up his tracks.

Kairi my love, I went with Io to buy some groceries at the mall. Call me if you need anything, I love you my Himesama.

He left the note on the table beside the bed, and then he heard a knock on the door.

Kenji went to open the door to see Dakota.

Kenji: hey

Dakota: hi, where is she?

Kenji: she is still asleep

Dakota: is the note there?

Kenji: yeah, I'm gonna go meet Io now

Dakota: yeah okay, have fun hunting a ring for your future wife

Kenji smirked and blushed a bit as he left the room.

A few minutes later, Kenji walked down the hall and found Io's hotel room. The Samurai knocked on the door ans Io answered it.

Io: ohayo Kenji-kun, where's Mrs. Cruz?

She smirked and teased him.

Kenji: fast asleep like a princess

Io: aww, so ready for the hunt?

Kenji: yeah, let's go

Io: question Kenji-kun

Kenji: hai?

Io: what did you write on the note?

Kenji: I just said that you and I are buying groceries

Io: that's good, so let's go?

Kenji: hai

The two friends left the hotel building and got in their rental car and drive to the mall.

Kairi slowly woke up to feel the bed empty, she then saw the note from Kenji and it made her smile and blush. She heard the TV from the living room, so she went to the living room to see Dakota.

Kairi: oh, ohayo Dakota-san!

Dakota: oh, good morning Kairi; did you see the note from Kenji?

Kairi: hai, I did; they went to buy some groceries

Dakota: oh groceries, huh?

Dakota's mind: along with the perfect engagement ring for you

Kairi: so did Kenji-kun told you to come here and keep me company?

Dakota: yup, and I brought some snacks too

Kairi: oooh

Dakota: come join me and we can watch the movie together

Kairi: hai okay!

The Pirate Princess joined her friend on the couch to watch a movie.

Io: I know a store in the mall where we can find the perfect engagement ring for Kairi-san

Kenji: oh okay perfect, you lead while I follow, but also, let's buy some groceries, so Kairi won't be suspicious

Io: oh hai, good point

The two reached the mall and got out of the car to hunt for the engagement ring. Io and Kenji got out of their car and went inside the mall.

Io led Kenji to the jewelry store where the best rings, necklaces and other jewelry for sale.

Kenji: wow, talk about fancy, something the Million Dollar Man can find

The two friends shared a laugh.

Io: here, this is where the best engagement rings are

Kenji: wow, so many great choices, I don't know which to pick

Io: I'll help

The two scanned through the selection of precious rings until one particular ring caught Io's attention.

Io: Kenji-kun, you should get this one!

Kenji: hmm, which one?

Io: this one!

The Genius of the Sky pointed at the particular ring which was shining bright from the lights.

Kenji: oh wow! Now this is the one!

The Samurai made his final decision and proceeded to purchase the ring for the price of $5,000. Kenji used his credit card and the ring was put into a small box.

Kenji: arigato Io-san

Io: of course, anything for my best friend and her future husband

She teasingly smirked while Kenji blushed a bit.

The two left the mall and went to the huge market to purchase some groceries.

Io: what do you think Kairi-san is doing right now?

Kenji: well since Dakota is there with her, she is most likely watching a movie with Dakota right now

Io: hmm yeah

The two purchased their groceries and left the mall. Then they got in their car and drove back to the hotel room.

(A few minutes later)

Kenji and Io went to their floor and walked down the hall. Kenji offered to drop Io at her room.

Io: arigato Kenji-kun

Kenji: thank you too Io-san, you helped me find the perfect ring

Io: when are you gonna propose to Kairi-san?

Kenji: after Takeover

Io: aww, good luck and I'm really happy for you two

The two friends shared a friendly hug before Io got inside her room.

Kenji went inside his room to see his Pirate Princess and King Kota watching a movie.

Kenji: looks like you two are enjoying yourselves

She smiled big and ran to her Samurai and gave him a big loving hug followed by a sneaky body rub.

Kenji: ohh, good morning to you too

Kairi: you bought some groceries?

Kenji: hai, Io-san helped

Kairi: if you excuse me you two, I'm gonna go use the bathroom

Kenji: hai okay

The Pirate Princess went to the bathroom, given the opportunity for Kenji to show the ring to Dakota as she whispered.

Dakota: did you bought the ring?

Kenji: I did, and here it is

The Samurai got the ring in the box and showed it to King Kota.

Dakota: wow, it's so pretty

Kenji: I already told Io, so can you keep a secret until Takeover?

Dakota: I will, don't worry

Kenji: good, and I'm planning to propose to Kairi after Takeover

Dakota: that will be a perfect setting

Kenji: gonna hide this in a secured spot

Dakota: yeah go!

The Samurai went to hide the ring in a secured spot in the bedroom. As he came back, Kairi was done using the bathroom.

Kairi: Kenji-kun, did you buy some groceries?

Kenji: oh hai, I did. Dakota, care to stay for lunch?

Dakota: oh I don't want to be a third wheel, I'm gonna meet with Tegan. Have fun you two

King Kota smirked as she waved and left the room, making the two blush. Then Kairi went close to Kenji and body rubbed him.

Kairi: you gonna cook our lunch?

Kenji: o-oh y-yeah, I-I will

Kairi giggled as she kissed his cheek.

Kairi: I'll just be in the living room, so you won't... be... distracted...

She said in a flirty tone as she pulled down her shirt to show her cleavage to the Samurai, making his face blush red.

Kairi smirked as she went to the living room to watch some TV while Kenji cooked.

After a few minutes, the Samurai was done cooking fresh shrimp tempura with some spicy tuna sushi. Kenji set the food on a big plate and brought it to the living room.

Kairi: ooh, looks delicious

Kenji: hai, shrimp tempura and spicy tuna sushi

Kairi smiled as the two proceeded to eat their lunch while they watched their movie.

(30 minutes later)

After their lunch was done, Kairi went to sit on his lap and kissed him all over while Kenji smiled as he tried to focus on the movie.

Kairi: Kenji-kun, I'm cold

Kenji: aww, let me keep you warm

He went to embrace her to keep her warm.

Kairi: I'm still cold

She playfully giggled.

Kenji: where else are you cold, babe?

Kairi: here...

She slid up her shorts to give Kenji her pale, creamy soft thighs. 

Kenji: oh hai, okay...

He put his hand on her leg, which made her melt from his gentle touch. As the two cuddled and finished their movie; Kenji saw Kairi was asleep on his shoulder.

Kenji smiled and turned off the TV; then he carried her to the room and set her down on the bed. He then laid beside her and hugged and cuddled with her as he took a nap with her. Kairi was asleep with a cute smile on her face.
