(Wednesday)

Following two successful invasions on SmackDown and Raw, the NXT roster were now on their toes for a possible retaliation from the red and blue brands. WWE released some video exclusively showing the NXT Tag Team Champions Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa calling out the Street Profits and the Usos for an open invite to come to their "house." Advertised for tonight's NXT are a couple of matches:

Kushida vs. Cameron Grimes

Tegan Nox, Dakota Kai and Candice LeRae vs. Bianca Belair, Toni Storm and Rhea Ripley

Adam Cole (with the Undisputed Era) vs. Killian Dain

Kenji Cruz vs. Finn Balor

As the show started, Kenji was getting ready for the main event against one member of the NXT men's team and potentially his next challenger for the NXT Championship, the Prinxe Finn Balor.

As he was wrapping his hands, his locker room door slowly open without him knowing since he's faced away. Then the Samurai felt some soft arms wrapped around him along with a body rub. Kenji smiled and turned around to see his beautiful and kawaii girlfriend, Kairi.

Kenji: well hello, Pirate Princess

Kairi: hello to you too, Samurai

The two giggled and kiss each other on the lips.

Kenji: you know Raw and SmackDown might retaliate

Kairi: well if they do, we'll be ready; how about you?

Kenji: if Finn and I see any red or blue, then we'll put our match aside and fight side to side

Kairi: Io and I will help in case Raw or SmackDown comes as well

Kenji: babe, I'm still overwhelmed from Raw a few days ago

Kairi: me too, I kept rewatching the highlights with you, Alex and AJ sharing the ring

Kenji: and we'll share it again along with the women's champions in the first ever triple threat mixed tag team match main event

Kairi: we're in the main event together

Kenji: I never imagined that, but it is happening

Kairi: and it is with the man I'm in love with

Kenji smiled and share a loving and passionate kiss with Kairi while she rubs her body on him.

(Few minutes later)

The first match of the night is underway as NXT North American Champion Kushida made his entrance. Then his scheduled opponent Cameron Grimes came walking down the ramp, but he was ambushed out of nowhere by a dropkick from Rey Mysterio, surprising the Time Splitter and the NXT crowd as the Master of the 619 is in the Full Sail Arena.

Mysterio got in the ring and demanded a match against Kushida. The North American Champion nodded and welcomed the challenge, and with that the bell rang as Kushida goes one on one against Rey Mysterio for the first time ever.

(Fast forward)

Kushida attempted for the Hoverboard Lock on Mysterio, but Rey got out of it and kicked him to the second rope. Rey launched from the ropes and hits the 619. As Mysterio went for the frog splash, Kushida rolled out of the way and countered into a small package pin for the victory.

However, the celebration was cut short as SmackDown's Sami Zayn and Shinsuke Nakamura attacked both men. Kushida and Rey fought them off and then Mysterio leveled Zayn with a diving senton. In the ring, Nakamura was setting for the Kinshasa on Kushida before he got tackled by Raw's Bobby Lashley. The United States Champion looks to lock in the full nelson in which he calls the Hurt Lock on Kushida, but he got dropkicked by SmackDown's Jeff Hardy.

Hardy knocked Lashley out of the ring before Kushida took down the Charismatic Enigma with a step up enziguri. The North American Champion stood his ground as he is ready for the United States Champion and Intercontinental Champion at Survivor Series.

(Backstage)

Kenji applauded for his tomadachi.

Kenji: Kushida is ready

Kairi: he is

Kenji: he's ready then we're ready

Kairi: I love you

Kenji: I love you too

Kairi smirked mischievously as she sat and straddled on his lap.

Kairi: let me give you something for good luck

Kenji: ooh, and what is that?

Kairi: this

The Pirate Princess leaned in to kiss on his neck.

(Fast forward)

The six woman tag team match was ongoing as Tegan Nox, Dakota Kai and Candice LeRae took on Rhea Ripley, Toni Storm and Bianca Belair.

After Dakota took down Toni with the GTK, the legal women in the ring were Tegan and Bianca. As she went for the Shiniest Wizard, the match immediately descended into chaos as SmackDown's Liv Morgan waved at the Welsh Superstar.

Morgan didn't come alone as the rest of the SmackDown women's division ambushed the NXT women from behind. Liv got in the ring and went to war against Tegan. It didn't take long for Raw to join in the party with Charlotte and Shayna leading the charge.

Bayley went to war against Rhea as Sasha Banks jumped the barricade to joined in on the fray. 

Raw and SmackDown seemed to have the numbers on NXT, but their onslaught was stopped as the Sky Pirates Io Shirai and Kairi Sane came down with kendo sticks in hand. The two Stardom alumnus ran down the ring and rained kendo stick shots on the Raw and SmackDown women.

The ring cleared while Kairi and Sasha trade punched. The Pirate Princess then took down the Legit Boss with a big spear, causing Banks to roll out of the ring; however, as Kairi turned around she was ambushed by Raw's Alexa Bliss. The Goddess kicked Kairi in the gut and then nailed her with the snap DDT. Then Alexa went to the top rope and sent a message in the form of Twisted Bliss.

Alexa taunted the NXT crowd as she stands over Kairi's body.

(Backstage)

Kenji was taking of Kairi with the help of Io.

Kenji: message sent

Kairi: Alexa and Sasha will get what's coming to them

Kenji kissed her head which made Kairi instantly smile.

Io: Kenji-kun is your source of happiness

Kairi: Io-san

Kairi smiled and blushed heavily as Kenji touched her thigh, sending shivers down her spine.

(Later)

The match ongoing right now is a one on one as Killian Dain goes against the captain of the NXT men's team Adam Cole, with the Undisputed Era at ringside. Dain had the size advantage, but Cole's cleverness and speed were a test to the big man.

(Towards the end)

After Cole nailed the Panama Sunrise on Dain, the leader of the UE ended it with the Last Shot for the victory.

As the UE celebrated, they were ambushed by members of the Raw roster led by the man they attacked a few days ago, Kevin Owens. KO, along with Andrade, Cedric Alexander, Ricochet and the Viking Raiders attacked the UE until the SmackDown roster led by Cesaro and Sheamus jumped the barricade to join the brawl followed by the NXT roster as Keith Lee and Matt Riddle led the black and gold locker room to defend the turf.

Owens took out Kyle O'Reilly with a Stunner before Roderick Strong took out KO with a jumping high knee. As Strong turned around, he was met with a Claymore from Raw's Drew McIntyre. McIntyre took the time to taunt the crowd until he was met by Keith Lee.

McIntyre went for the offense, but he was caught by Lee and then dropped by a Spirit Bomb. Then the Viking Raiders' Ivar stared down Lee and the two big men saw the brawl from the outside. Ivar and Keith launched from the ropes and dove onto the crowd of Raw, NXT and SmackDown Superstars.

The one man left standing was Adam Cole; he looked down at the carnage and taunted with his trademark:

Adam: Adam Cole Bay-Bay!

Then from out of nowhere, Cole was struck down with an RKO from the Raw men's team captain, Randy Orton, shocking the crowd as the Viper made his presence felt in the Full Sail Arena. Bobby Fish attempted to aid Cole, but he too met the wrath of the Viper with an RKO. Then Orton saw Pete Dunne on the apron and the Viper smirked at the Bruiserweight.

Dunne stepped up to the Viper and the two men started to trade blows.

(Backstage)

Kenji was now ready for the main event against Finn Balor in a non-title one on one match. The good luck charm Kairi gave him was a tiny mark on his neck. As Kenji grabbed his NXT title, he was greeted by a loving embrace and body rub from Kairi.

Kairi: good luck babe

Kenji: thanks princess

The Pirate Princess smiled and gave Kenji a long and deep kiss.

Kairi: go and fight, my first mate

Kenji: aye aye captain

The Samurai left the locker room and walked to the ring for his match.

(Minutes later)

Kenji and Finn stepped up and stared down as they locked up.

(Minutes later)

Kenji got Finn from behind and looks to lock in the Ghidorah Clutch on the Prinxe, but Balor elbowed his way out and fired back with a sling blade followed by a dropkick which sent Kenji to the corner. Balor looked to pin the NXT champion as he climbed to the top turnbuckle and manages to hit the Coup de Grace.

As Balor attempted to go for the pin, he was stopped by a Phenomenal Forearm from AJ Styles, causing the match to end in disqualification. Kenji stood back up to see Styles in the ring.

AJ and Kenji launched at each other and traded punches; Styles landed the Phenomenal Blitz on the Samurai, and then set him up for the Styles Clash. Then Kenji powered out with back body drop and lands the Gojira Canadian Destroyer on SmackDown's Universal Champion.

As Kenji taunted AJ, the NXT Champion turned around to be met with an AKO from out of nowhere from Raw's WWE Champion Alex Auditore. Alex surveyed the area and saw Styles stumbling on his knees. The WWE Champion picked up the Universal Champion and lays him out with an AKO for good measure.

Alex stood over Kenji's body as the show ended. The battle for brand supremacy is almost coming.
