(A week later)

Tonight was NXT Takeover: Portland and the crowd were all pumped to see the exciting match card as all of the black and gold brand's titles were on the line, and it is also the night of the possibility that the Undisputed Era's Gold Prophecy ends.

The Undisputed Era (Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish) (c) vs. #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) - Tag team match for the NXT Tag Team Championship

Roderick Strong (c) vs. Kushida - Singles match for the NXT North American Championship

Finn Balor vs. Keith Lee - Singles match

Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Kairi Sane - Singles match for the NXT Women's Championship

Adam Cole (c) vs. Kenji Cruz - Singles match for the NXT Championship

While the tag team title match was ongoing, Kenji was in his locker room warming up while he watched his friends Johnny and Tommaso in action. Then he heard a knock on his door.

Kenji: come in, it's open!

The door opened and it was Kenji's cute Pirate girlfriend Kairi.

Kairi: Kenji-kun

Kenji: Kairi-san

Kairi: are you ready for your match?

Kenji: yup, I'm warming up, but I'm still a bit nervous

Kairi: oh, let me help

The Pirate Princess smirked mischievously and went really close to him and proceeded to do another one of her body rubs on him. Kenji arched back as he felt the Pirate Princess' "chest buns" against his spine.

Kenji: Kairi...

Kairi giggled and turned her boyfriend around to face him before proceeding to put her hands on his cheeks. She then pulled his head down, so she can touch her forehead with his.

Kairi: just let us have this moment together

The Pinoy Samurai nodded and went to put his hands on her hips while their foreheads still touch, they ignored all the surrounding noises around them and felt they were the only two people in the room. Kairi pulled back and looked at her man in the eyes as she proceeded to give him a kiss on his lips. 

Then she pulled back and pushed him down on the couch while her cute and seductive smile was on her face. The Samurai attempted to get up, but the Pirate Princess pushed him back down and went to straddle his lap.

Kenji: K-Kairi-san...

The Pirate Princess put her finger over his lips to quiet him down.

Kairi: shh... let me help warm you up for your match while you help me warm up as well

The Pirate Princess smiled and grabbed his hands as she placed one of them on her back and the other on her legs. Then she went to kiss on his neck which caused Kenji to shiver from the feeling of her soft lips against his skin.

After a couple of minutes of making out, Kairi pulled back and sat beside him while the Samurai has a surprised look on his face.

Kairi: you okay, love?

Kenji: y-yeah, I'll be fine

Kairi giggled and laid her head on his arm as the two watched the conclusion of the tag team title match.

With Fish sent over the barricade, Gargano and Ciampa ended the match with their tag team finisher, Meeting in the Middle on UE's air guitar guru O'Reilly, winning the match and shattered a piece of the Prophecy as #DIY are the new tag team champions.

Kenji: alright, that's two titles down and two more to go

Kairi: babe, you mentioned to me that you have a Godzilla inspired entrance for Takeover?

Kenji: ah yes, the seamstress is putting the finishing touches on it now

Kairi: Gojira had a lot of incarnations for 66 years, which version is your attire based on?

Kenji: guess

Kairi: okay, is it 1954?

Kenji: nope

Kairi: 1991 Heisei?

Kenji: keep going

Kairi: ooh, is it the Legendary version from 2019?

Kenji: that was my second option

Kairi: then which one?

As Kenji was about to answer, he heard a knock on his door; he went up to see it was the seamstress.

Seamstress: here you go Kenji, already done and it's based on that Godzilla movie you sent

Kenji: arigato

The Samurai closed the door and went back to Kairi.

Kenji: here it is, babe

The Pinoy Samurai's attire is based on the 2016 Japanese exclusive movie of the King of the Monsters, Shin Godzilla.

Kenji: say hello to Shin Kenji

Kairi: oh wow, this is intimidating babe

Kenji: little mind games to mess with Cole

The attire was mostly the same expect it had a scale like texture with the designs in the bright purple whenever Shin Gojira does his atomic breath.

Kenji: I even have matching purple eye contacts with it and a new entrance theme with it as well

Kairi: with your new attire, I guess your entrance theme will be intimidating as well

Kenji: you are on the right track on that, but you have to find out

Kairi: I can't wait

Then the couple continued to watch the pay-per-view as Kushida is going into his title match against North American Champion Roderick Strong.

After a few minutes back and forth between Strong and Kushida, the match ended as the Messiah of the Backbreaker went for the End of Heartache, but the Time Splitter countered it into the Hoverboard Lock in the middle of the ring. Kushida applied pressure to the hold until Strong couldn't take the pain as he had no choice but to tap out.

The match was over, and Kushida is the new NXT North American Champion while another piece of the UE's prophecy has shattered, which applied more pressure for Kenji and his match.

Kenji: three down, so it's up to me

Kairi: you got this, babe; I believe in you

Kenji: arigato, Kairi-san

Kairi: I have to go warm up, I'll be watching your match

Kenji nodded and Kairi stroked his cheek while she kissed his lips before she left.

The Samurai put on his new attire and eye contacts as the one on one match between Balor and Lee was ongoing.

After a few minutes, the winner of the one on one contest was the Limitless Keith Lee. 

Then the next match was the NXT Women's title match between the Queen of Spades and the Pirate Princess. Kenji was watching closely as he prayed for his girlfriend to win the match.

Kenji: come on, Kairi-san; you beat her before you can beat her again

The match started and Baszler looked for a cheap shot on Kairi, but the Pirate Princess ducked it and unleashed a flurry of shots on the bigger champion.

Kenji was clapping as he watched and cheered for Kairi from his locker room.

Kenji: come on baby! Come on baby!

(A few minutes later)

Shayna's fellow MMA Horsewomen Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir came down to stack the odds against the Pirate Princess, but their plan was thwarted as Dakota and Io came down and attacked the Horsewomen.

Then Shayna capitalized by locking the Kirafuda Clutch, but Kairi rolled over for the pin that beat the Queen of Spades the first time, but Baszler scouted it and kicked out. Then Kairi kicked Shayna in the head and took down the champion with a monstrous spear.

Then the Pirate Princess climbed up the top turnbuckle and nailed the Queen of Spades with the Insane Elbow. Kairi pinned the champion and it was over. The Pirate Princess has regained her treasure in form of the NXT Women's Championship.

Kenji had a happy tear fall from his eye as his girlfriend is the new NXT Women's Champion. 

Kenji: good job babe!

Then a few minutes later, Kairi came in Kenji's locker room and jumped into his arms.

Kairi: I did it!

Kenji: I knew you will win, my love

Kairi: now it's all on you

Kenji: it's time for Shin Gojira to take the NXT title

Kairi kissed Kenji for good luck before the Samurai left. As Kenji walked to the gorilla, his mind was running as the NXT Championship is the last piece for the UE's prophecy after Ciampa, Gargano and Kushida has won and took the UE's other titles.

(In the ring)

The NXT Champion made his entrance and all pressure was on Adam Cole to keep his title on the UE's side after the other members lost their titles earlier tonight. Cole was in the ring as he waited for Kenji.

Then a new entrance theme played.

The new theme was unfamiliar to Cole and the NXT Universe, but the crowd instantly popped as the theme belonged to the challenger, Kenji. He made his entrance as fog was on the ramp as the Samurai made his Shin Gojira inspired entrance.

Kenji got in the ring and stared down at Adam, bringing intimidation to the champion. Then the bell rang and the match started.

(A few minutes later)

Kenji locked in the Ghidorah rear naked choke, but Adam managed to reach for the ropes, forcing the hold to break. As Kenji let go of the hold, he walked into a superkick followed by a Last Shot from Cole, but Cruz kicked out at two and a half.

Later, the rest of the Undisputed Era came down to pull Adam out after the champion was nailed by Gojira from Kenji. The Samurai saw the UE's interference and he neutralized the four man group as he climbed up the top turnbuckle and took down all four members of the Undisputed Era with the Rodan Roll.

Kenji grabbed Adam and threw him back in the ring and looks for another Gojira. Cruz went for it, but Cole got out of it and hits a superkick. Then Adam went to the second turnbuckle and hits the Panama Sunrise, but Cruz still kicked out at two, much to the shock of the NXT Champion.

Cole pulled down his knee pad and looks to end Kenji's title hopes as he went for a second Last Shot, but the Samurai ducked it and hits Gojira before locking in Ghidorah in the middle of the ring. With nowhere to go, Cole could only tap out.

The match was over and Portland witnessed a new NXT Champion and his name was Kenji Cruz. The title was given to the Samurai as his theme played while the crowd cheered.

The Pinoy Samurai raised his newly won title as his girlfriend, the NXT Women's Champion Kairi Sane walked down and went in the ring to celebrate with her loving boyfriend.

Kenji and Kairi put their arms around each other as they raised their newly won championships. Then they stared at each other as Kairi put her hand on Kenji's cheek and pulled him down for a passionate kiss on the lips as NXT Takeover: Portland comes to a close.
