Thanks for voting, I really appreciate it! I promise that I'll think of a way to surprise you guys, enjoy the chapter.

Bill shot up, patting the dirt off his shirt. "Can't let him devour his soul.." he ran to the path where he was sensing Dipper's thoughts, his mind was filled with thoughts of worry.
And he found him, but something was wrong. His eyes were closed.

"P-Pine Tree?"

Dipper firmly plumped on the ground, unconscious. Revealing Will behind him, after the boy fell.

Will smirked deviously, "too late..boy's unconscious,"

"What in the world did you do to him?!"

"Don't worry, he's still alive, his soul's still with him," Will tapped his chin, glancing at the stary night. "Just gonna let him be..unconscious for a while.."

Bill blinked, "I'm sorry, are you..making him your toy?!" He twitched an eye. His eyes began turning black with deep red pupils with cracks on the lower and upper part of his eyes.

"Give me a break, you're not gonna risk your 'life' to a mortal, are ya?" Will rolled an eye, "you know, I can't take you seriously if you're angry right now." He then mumbled, looking away, but looking at the corner of his one eye. "Don't tell me that I have to use my flames to fight you again, Cipher.."

"Face me, Will!"

Will glanced at him, quirking an eyebrow.

Bill ignited his fists with flames, joisting his hands at both of his sides. Igniting flames that circle around Will and himself. "I'm tried if you!!"

"And here we go again.." Will summoned a blue flaming scythe. "Let's do this one more time!" He swung it to Bill, but he dodged it.

Dipper fluttered his eyes open, his lantern was out and saw both brothers fighting. "B-Bill?" He saw how scary Bill was, gritting his pointed-teeth, barely grinning, with his bangs flowing and running over his eyes.

Bill's gloved-hands were no more human-like hands, it took form of a wolf-like one, He had extended his nails into long, sharp black claws, easily able to cut and skewer people.

Bill growled when Will started commiting scars on his right shoulder. Bill hissed at his injury while Will was laughing. "I'll skewer you to death, you laughing-stock!" He tried to cut and shred his brother hastily and ruthlessly. He did, shred Will's chest, causing Will to choke blood out.

Dipper was suddenly afraid of him once more. Bill planned to shred Will's knees to prevent him from standing, but Will pounced over him and stabbed him in the back, creating a narrow cut on his back.

Will realized that was too far. "Whoops, got an inner demon here.." he snickered.

Dipper was still on the ground as he saw something come out of Bill, a massive wave of dark mists came out of his back. Bill's eyes were closed as his head was tilted down, facing the ground.

The waves of mists started to choke Dipper and feckly drown him. "Bill! W-What is this?" He choked.

Will chuckled, "this? This is an inner demon of another demon. A monster, a dark side that has been trapped for years and never came out. Your Billy still has a dark side, even though you've changed him."

"This..can't be happening," dark roots from the trees were scratching Dipper, this may cause scars to him. These dark roots were from trees, Bill's mists was sprawling too fast, taking over the trees' possessions of nature.

I was probably elated back then.. Bill's thoughts were spreading in his mind, he couldn't take control of his body. But he can take control of his thoughts and memories. I felt like I had the power to protect everything..

Dipper was drowning, not knowing what to do.

The lantern!

He snagged the lantern that he had from earlier, intending to light it up for the mists to dissolve.

He snagged out a match from his vest's pocket, but Will flicked his hand away from the lantern, most likely holding his arm in forceful way without even touching him.

Will was cackling as he had stopped the boy from lighting up the lantern.

Just...

He didn't gave up, he was fighting back. He finally lighted it up, Dipper fell on the ground as Will disappeared. Dipper started to crawl to Bill's body that was now unconsciously laying on the ground.

The boy realizes that Bill was scarier a while ago. He has felt fear, tears were rolling down his cheek. He bitted his lip, then suddenly also felt losing his consciousness and fell.

What did I think I was able to protect?

Dipper layed his back on the bed, with a bandage wedged on his forehead.

"Pi--Dipper, aren't you gonna join Mabel on a Mystery Hunt today?" An eerie voice spoke from behind, it was from the attic's doorway, it seemed to belong to Bill, he looked on the corner of his eye as he says. "Your family seems to worry about you a lot, especially Mabel.."

Dipper sighed in despair, not facing Bill's direction, which was on the other side of the bed. "How are your wounds, Bill?"

"Huh? Uhm, they're healed up since after you just..ignited me last night..after all, I am a demon."

"R-Right, you're a demon.." Bill bitted his bottom lip. "Do you regret in trusting me??"

"Shut up."

Bill closed the door and left, he shoved his hands on his pockets as he perked his head down. "Of course you do,"

Dipper switched onto other position of the other side of the bed, he ran his fingers through his hair. Staring at the ceiling, so numbly, "I'm not regretting anything..I'm just not sure what to do,"

Bill walked across the hallway, but something blocked him.

"Okay, what did you do to Dipper?"

Bill blinked, confused. "What da ya mean?" A finger layed on his nose, as a death glare was sent to him.

"Don't 'wha da ya mean' me, Dipper has been like that since last night. No one was there with him, except you!"

He sighed despondently, as he closed his eyes shut. "Listen, Shooting Star..I--"

"And would ya stop calling me that?" Bill opened his eyes and lifted an eyebrow.

"Why not? It is your zodiac sign." Mabel started to clatter about how great her name was, but Bill looks to the corner of his eye. He was not in the mood for anything right now.

"THE BARRIER!!! THE BARRIER!!!" Ford ran up to them, holding scrolls, "IT'S THE END!! THE BARRIER!! IT'S GETTING HITTED!!! AGH!!!" Ford yelled at the two and ranned away across the hallway, repeating the same terms constantly.

Bill blinked, "what the heck is wrong with Stanford?"

"I dunno," both of the two had smug looks plastered on their faces.

Bill glanced at Mabel insensitively, "Will attacked Pine Tree last night." He said, looking at her numbly and in defeat.

"Oh. That's..bad,"

"W-Wait, you're not--"

His shirt's collar was suddenly grasped on and he was dragged nearer to Mabel, meeting up a death glare. "Will?! That purple-wearing freak?! Attacked?! You bastard, why yadda--"

Her mouth was then zipped up by a quick snap of Bill's fingers, Mabel muffled and muffled.

Bill remained tired of all this, he sighs as he stood straight. Fixing his collar, he glanced away at Mabel, not wanting to see her angry face once more.

"Relax, Short-Stack.." he said, "I don't quite hurted him, I don't remember anything at all,"

He ran his fingers through his hair as he was scowling in pain, "the time I woke up..I was in the forest, seeing him unconscious. But all I could remember was..Will attacking us, he wanted Dipper's soul,"

Mabel slapped him, "you Doofus! Didn't you told Dipper and I yesterday that your brother has never even eaten souls?!"

Bill laughed sheepish, "oh, did I?" He twiddled his fingers as he laughed.

Mabel facepalmed, "ugh, whatever," she said, "I'm going to Dipper's room!" She marched and walked up to Dipper's door, but Bill kept his ground, blocking the door.

"Don't!" Bill urged.

"Why not?" Mabel lifted an eyebrow.

"B-Because he doesn't want to be disturbed!" Bill blurted out, "c'mon, Shooting Star. Pine Tree needs space,"

"But I'm his sister!" Mabel glared up at him.

"Yeah, but I'm his guardian!"

"You're the family's guardian, doe!!" Mabel released her arms up, as she screamed.

Bill eyed on Mabel carefully, cautiously observing her actions. "Ya ain't comin' in this room till I say so, go it?" He narrowed his eyes.

"At what makes you say that?" Mabel folded her arms.

Bill chuckled, "have you forgotten who I am, Shooting Star?"

Mabel grinned, "well, have you forgotten that you can't hurt me?" She grasped on Bill's wrist and dragged him aside, "outta the way!"

She opened the door to see Dipper, all lonely as he sat on his bed, looking down with his hair rustled over his eyes by the breeze.

Mabel gasped, seeing bandages wrapped up somewhere on Dipper's right arm. "Dipper!" She ran up to her brother, occasionally checking his arm. "H-How did this happen?"

Dipper slapped her hand away, "I-I'm fine.. you don't need to worry about me, Mabel. Worry about someone else." He looked away, staring the red window aside him.

Mabel frowned, "excuse me?"

"Huh?" Dipper glanced at his twin.

"Haven't you seen how worried sick I am? And you've just thrown my feelings away just like that?!" She placed her hands on her hips which of is where the part of when she glared down at Dipper, "why?! If Bill likes you, you would throw his feelings away, wouldn't ya?!"

Dipper stuttered, "w-what? M-M-Mabel, no, w-why would I--"

"Don't 'why would I' me!" Shouted Mabel.

Bill shoved his hands on his pockets, "OKKAAY, then.. it looks like you two have a lot to talk about..and, this is none of business, soo..." he walked out, grinning innocently, "I'm just gonna..go over there, soo..take your time!"

His back-collar was clasped and dragged backwards, dragging him in front of Mabel and Dipper. "You shut your yap! Ya ain't leavin' this room 'till we finish our converstation fully like a bunch of hooty-daisies!" Mabel clamped on the sides of her hips, as she said.

"Hooty-daisies?" Bill quietly asked, "are you even speaking human language?"

"No, it's Mabel language!" Mabel snapped, "now go sittin' around aside Dipper or else I'll bring out that memory erasin' gun and erase you outta existence!" She pointed at the direction of where Dipper was sitting, he looked away, refusing to hold back Mabel from her rage of terror.

"Yes, Ma'am." Bill adolescently sat aside Dipper, bitting the side of his gums.

Mabel paced back and forth, as she said, "now, why the hell does Will want Dipper's soul?"

"Well, he did want to do it for revenge," Bill retorted.

Dipper turned his head away from him, folding his arms as he remembers last night's scene.

Bill noticed, "Pine Tree, I--

"You know, the people around me keep on telling me that everyone deserves a second chance," Dipper looked away, frowning. "But I guess, you're weren't really ready for one."

"Dipper--"

"Shut up." Dipper curtly snapped. He eyed his twin, "I remember everything that happened last night, Will was threatening me, he said..he wanted something from me, not my soul that is," he groaned in pain as he gripped on his head, "agh, my head."

"Dipper!" Mabel ran up to him, "are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. That night.." says Dipper, "I.."

A strong gust from the breeze passed Dipper as it gave him chills. He rubbed his arms as he clutched on his jacket, he shivers, "h-how come it feels so cold in this time around?"

"Well, it's the middle of the night. You're a foolish kid, aren't ya?" A voice spoke behind Dipper.

The boy careenly glanced behind, seeing nobody. He narrowed his eyes, "who goes there?"

"Haha, is that suppose to be a threat, Pine Tree?"

Dipper scowled and swiveled around, "where are you?! What do you want from me?!"

Something rustled across the bushes, a shadow. Dipper bitted his bottom lip as he cowered backward.

Will appeared behind him, unseen. He adruptly grasped-ahold of Dipper's jaw from behind and made him face the demon. "Hmm, it's you. The pathetic one, isn't it?" Will glared at him while Dipper returns the favor by glaring back at him.

"What do you want from me?" Hissed Dipper, with his cheeks clenched on.

Will smirked, "the journal."

He loosed his grip on Dipper's jaw, which made Dipper scrape it, he was holding the boy's jaw very tightly as he could feel Will's murderous intent.

He walked around Dipper in circles deliberately, he smirked but he was balling his fists behind his back. "T-The journal? Impossible, it was destroyed by Bill three years ago." Said Dipper.

Will stopped, recently in front of Dipper. His smirk vanished, "liar. That book..no, those books. They were rebirthed during Weirdmageddon, not by Bill, but his weirdness." He summoned his cane, "now.."

He clinged the cane's handle on Dipper's neck and plucked his face closer to Will's. "Answer me, you Pines threw that book on the Bottomless Pit after Weirdmageddon, didn't ya??"

"I...have no idea what your taking about," Dipper choked as he gripped on the cane that was still feckly strangling him.

Will's right eye was turning completely black with a deep red  pupil, cracks were sprawling on the upper and lower part of his eye. "Stop lying, you unfeebled dork!" He barked.

"I didn't knew anything about that.."

"Again, tell me where it is. From your eyes, I could tell you're lying.." he blunted, clenching on Dipper's neck brutally. "You know something, why? Afraid that I'd vaporize it just like brother did? Heh, I'm nothing like my brother, even wonder why we're relatives.."

He sticked his tounge out, revealing a long and sharp demon tounge.

"Enough games, tell me where it is or else I'll eat your soul, I'm gonna be honest with you. I don't care if you die or not, even if you did, I'll be taking down your sister if that happens."

The tounge flows closer to Dipper's face, something then began to come out of Dipper's mouth, it was a transparent mist, it flew closer to Will's tounge as Dipper's eyes rolled to the back of his head.

Dipper got off his feet while this incident happened.

Will halted, he glanced at the left. "Bill," mumbled Will, letting go of Dipper, commiting his soul, which was that mist, to suck back to his mouth.

Dipper's eyes were back to normal, but it made him unconscious, he plumb on the ground.

Will kneels down and holds the back of the boy's head, "tch, a demon and a mortal? Pathetic." He lifted Dipper up, by grabbing ahold of his hair.

"P-Pine Tree?" A voice in front of Dipper's view called out.

"Oh, Dipper, I am so sorry that I wasn't there for you!" Mabel wrapped her arms around Dipper, frankly hugging him very tightly.

"Ow, ow, ow! M-Mabel!" He choked, "y-you're-you're choking me!"

Bill sat up, walking away from the room, unscathed and quitely.

He sighed as he closed the door behind him shut, he walks up to the gift shop's exit, which was mainly the entrance, but could apparently be an exit either.

"Yo, Bill!" Yelled Stan, who was laying on the porch nearby. "Whacha doin' here in a time like this? I thought you were with the kids."

Bill numbly, glanced at him, "yeah, but apparently, as you can see, I'm not fitted to be here. I gotta go." He sajd, "and, please, tell the two to forget about me and live freely.." he floated above his feet as he flew away, but something blocked him.

A neck-shackle was locked restrained in his neck, he clenched on to it as he felt like he was being smothered.

He flew back to the ground, coughing sorely. "What-What's happening to me??" He incoherently queried.

"Probably part of that deal of yours," answered Stan. "Don't really know what it's all about, but guess you can't just call off the deal by saying all that stuff,"

He examines Bill, who was wanting to dissolve and crush the neck-shackle as he breathed and clamped at it's main lock.

"I can tell it by looking at you, pal. It's not just the deal nor the shackles refusing to leave Dipper, it's also you." He said, "you don't really wanna leave him alone, don't ya?"

"You don't know anything, Stanley. Leave me alone!" Bill barked, not facing nor making eye contact at Stan.

Chuckling humurously, "who the heck says that I know something? C'mon, I've had an amnesia for pete sake." He said, "hey, your decision, whether you want to dispel all of this and leave everyone's lives alone, or keep on watchin' over Dipper. Hey, to be frank with you, I like the way seeing you two argue in a few weeks and you watching over him, it actually..made him look tuff!"

Bill stifled a fatal laugh, "since when did you know stuff? I don't care about anyone's feelings, so why don't you just walk away and consider that you're a weakling?"

"Heh, weakling or not. All I know is that, if you don't care about the people of this world nor the people from outer space or whatever, or if you don't care 'bout your friends and neither the world. All answers is that, you only care about yourself. You like the way people say you're insane, right?" Stan asked, "well, that ain't true. No one's insane for no reason, the only reason you're insane..is because you're broken, whether you arouse something so deperately or you probably lost something. Tell me, kid, have you ever like..lost someone in the past that you repent everything you've done?"

Bill grimaced and strongly bellowed, "I don't want to talk about it,"

"Not talking about it, wouldn't surely make ya feel better. As far as I've heard from Ford, you've liberated your own dimension and killed all the people you've known, even your parents." Said Stan, "and with I've heard from Dipper, a gigantic mexican salamander called, the 'Axolotl' or whatever that was, it told Dipper that you watched your own dimension burn, you keep saying that you were so happy about everything, but you're a liar, you know that, right? Who would believe that you could say the truth for some reason? Now, tell me, does lying really help you? I've been lying for all my life, it sure saved me most, but it recently caused to transmit some dangerous bad luck on me!"

Bill raised a brow, "how is this talk even helping me? You don't even know my past fully, you're just sayin' that to make me feel better. But you always knew it wouldn't, cause I'm always so mischevious and burdensome to deal with." He flew away, with him, saying, "fine, I'll come back, but I won't be dealing with this stuff anymore. After all, since I came back, Pine Tree had nothing, but pain."

"'KAY! BYE!" Bidded Stan, springing his arms through the air.
